From the winery: "Our 2017 Chardonnay was made from grapes from the historic Dutton Ranch on Mill Station Road in Green Valley of Russian River Valley. Here the vines are nestled in calm fog for much of the growing season. Ripening slowly, the fruit builds its layers of flavor on top of fresh acidity that holds steady until harvest. The block that we used in 2017 was planted more than 30 years ago and provides the mineral-tinged and structure that drives complex Chardonnay. Tasting Notes: Our Chardonnay offers vibrant aromas of orange blossom, green ap...

Winemaker's Notes: "The combination of clones and the intricacies resulting from the native ferment have resulted in a gorgeous Rosé, abundant with fresh nectarine and white peach, wild strawberry, and ruby red grapefruit zest. Aromatic and fresh throughout, with subtle notes of cherry blossom and cranberry skin on the finish. This wine will surely pair amazingly with food as well as being an ideal easy drinker for an afternoon on the porch, with its juicy mouthfeel, and precise acidity. The fourth vintage from our Estate Pinot Noir vineyard yielded a ph...

92 points Wine Enthusiast: "Smooth in cherry cola and vanilla, this wine has a spicy backbone that gives it balance and complexity, a crunchiness of red fruit and texture that intrigues. (VB)" (10/2018)

90 points Wine Enthusiast: "This white will appeal greatly to those who prefer stainless-steel treatment, with its tangle of sour apple, sharp acidity and full but not heavy texture. It gets better in the glass, softening that sharpness and tang, opening up to elements of melon and lime. (VB)" (09/2016) Vinous: "The 2014 Chardonnay Unoaked is laced with the essence of lemon oil, white flowers and mint. Bright, perfumed and crisp, the 2014 is an excellent choice for drinking over the next handful of years. Although there is no oak, the Chardonnay offers...

92 points Wine Enthusiast: "This is the inaugural vintage of a new estate wine, from a 30-acre property on Eastside Road across the Russian River from the winery. Pear compote, anise and lemon candy wrap around voluptuous layers marked by green apple and orange peel, offering richness and weight in hearty measure. (VB)" (03/2017) 90 points Vinous: "Williams Selyem's 2014 Chardonnay Lewis MacGregor Estate Vineyard is a very pretty, gracious wine with considerable near term appeal. Lemon peel, gentle apricot, almond, white flower and chamomile are nicely...

92 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Pale to medium ruby purple, the 2017 Pinot Noir Russian River Valley has a gregarious nose of spiced cranberry, sliced blueberry, turned earth, bergamot and dried rose petal. Medium-bodied with very concentrated fruit layers, it has soft, very fine-grained tannins and juicy acidity on the finish. (EB)" (04/2019) K&L Notes: Senses Wines is a very promising project launched by three young guys from Occidental on the Sonoma Coast. Chris Strieter: MA in Finance and ex-Williams-Selyem Cellar Rat. Max Thieriot: Multi...

2010 DuMol Russian River Valley Pinot Noir (Previously $70) (Previously $70)
Back In Stock!
Connoisseurs Guide: "Despite leaning to ripeness in its initial aromas, this wine comes with plenty of black cherry fruit in tow and adds in distinct oaky richness and a quiet walnut-like note. It is medium-full-bodied in palate weight and turns out to be lighter on its feet than first impressions seem to advise, and its near-supple texture and nicely crafted fruit hold it in good stead through to a balanced, mid-depth finish. *One Star*" (10/2012) Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The entry-level 2010 Pinot Noir is big, juicy and exuberant. There is no ...

90 points Wine Spectator: "Dense and potently rustic, with blueberry, dried cherry, licorice and bittersweet chocolate flavors. Zinfandel, Primitivo, Alicante, Trousseau, Petite Syrah and Syrah. (TF, Web Only-2019)"

Former pilot Joe Swan was a winemaking visionary who planted what have become some of the oldest Pinot Noir vines in the Russian River Valley. The winery's allotment of grapes from the coveted Ritchie Vineyard are from some of the oldest blocks, and the 2014 is described by the winery as: "Bright lemon yellow color. Ripe pear with lemon custard and a hint of mango. Classic Ritchie profile and aromatics are present. Very rich, very full opulence balanced by good acidity. Long, full fruit."

94 points Wine Enthusiast: "Bright, crunchy red fruit effuses ripeness in this lushly layered wine. Black tea, forest and cedar pierce through, making for a complementary experience that intrigues with complexity. (VB)" (03/2019) 92 points Connoisseurs Guide: "A streak of mildly savory spice merges with notes of sweet toast, cola and cream in the substantial, well-extracted, dark cherry aromas of this one and start the wine out on a slightly different track than its companions, but, if making good on its promise of extra substance once in the mouth and...

Oeno is the ancient Greek word for wine, as well as the name of a goddess known for turning water into wine. Owner Amy Atwood seeks out top quality vineyards in Sonoma and like-minded California winemakers who make wines to her specifications: pristine fruit, native yeasts, neutral oak. Winery note: "Oak Bench Block Vineyard, 30-year-old vines, partial ML, 60% tank fermented + 40% neutral barrel fermented, whole cluster pressed, native fermentation, unfined and unfiltered. A vibrant and refreshing Chardonnay. Filled with bright citrus and luscious pear f...

91 points Vinous: "The 2015 Syrah (Sonoma Coast) is a wild, powerful wine that captures the essence of this cool Petaluma Gap site in its intense, savory personality. Black cherry, menthol, licorice, chocolate and black pepper give this mid-weight, persistent Syrah much of its personality. I would give the 2015 at least another year or two in bottle to soften. I imagine, though, the 2015 will always remain a bit brooding in personality. Bright, saline notes add considerable nuance as the wine opens up with air. Even so, the Syrah is the product of a vint...

90 points Wine Spectator: "Aromas of green apple, grapefruit, wet rock and tangerine are fresh and vibrant, with mouthwatering acidity and a lively juiciness that lingers. (JL)" (06/2015)

92 points Wine Spectator: "Vivid aromas of crushed raspberry, anise, mineral and wildflowers are taut and focused in this medium- to full-bodied red, which is well-structured, ending with a mix of blackberry and black licorice. Drink now through 2017." (08/11) Those familiar with Russian River hsitory know that it's apples--the rare, tart, small Gravenstein apple, to be specific--that are the foundation of the region's agricultural history, not winegrapes. EnRoute's "Les Pommiers" pays homage to that history. Made with organically farmed fruit from the ...
