2016 Roquefort Blanc, Bordeaux

Wine Enthusiast: "Brightly fruity, this blend with 85% Sauvignon Blanc goes for the tropical-fruit character of the grape. Attractive acidity and a zingy edge are balanced by ripe apricot and pineapple flavors. Drink from late 2017. (RV)" (08/2017) K&L Notes: The wine just shines! Sauvignon Blanc (the base of the wine is zippy and herbaceous and has brisk acidity), Semillon (for body and structure), and Muscadelle. This wine is crisp and super focused on the palate. 2009 Pontet-Canet, Pauillac Top Pick!
2009 Pontet-Canet, Pauillac

100 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "An amazing wine in every sense, this classic, full-bodied Pauillac is the quintessential Pontet Canet from proprietor Alfred Tesseron, who continues to reduce yields and farms his vineyards biodynamically – a rarity in Bordeaux. Black as a moonless night, the 2009 Pontet Canet offers up notes of incense, graphite, smoke, licorice, creme de cassis and blackberries. A wine of irrefutable purity, laser-like precision, colossal weight and richness, and sensational freshness, this is a tour de force in winemaking tha ...Read More »

Suave, minerally and penetrating, with lovely energy and floral lift. Not at all a fleshy style but classic, vibrant and firmly built, finishing with excellent lift. (ST)" (05/2008) 91 points Wine Enthusiast: "Though this is the second wine for Lafite-Rothschild, it is a major wine in its own right, with its dense, powered fruit and a structure obviously built to last. " (02/2018) Wine Enthusiast: "Located to the west of Castillon-la-Bataille, this vineyard is close in geography and style to Saint-Émilion. 2009 Pontet-Canet, Pauillac 6-pack in OWC (Pre-Arrival)

100 points Jeb Dunnuck: "A wine I’ve been lucky enough to have numerous times since release, the 2009 Pontet Canet is one of those magical efforts that wine lovers encounter far too infrequently. From one of the greatest vintages for the region ever, this deep, saturated purple-colored effort offers an incredible bouquet of crème de cassis, blackcurrants, lead pencil shavings, damp earth, and graphite. 100 points Decanter: "There is so much going on with Petrus in 2015 that you should just pull up a chair and relax, don't expect to be going anywhere soon. Aromatic persistency keeps reaching in, pulling you further alongside. There is a soft quality to the tannins that allows the black fruit to be both juicy and sweet. 2014 Haut-Brion, Pessac-Léognan

2004 Moulin-Haut-Laroque, Fronsac

90 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A big time sleeper of the vintage from Fronsac, this beauty from proprietor Jean-Noel Herve has hit the bull’s eye.
