2016 Bevan "Tench Vineyard EE" Oakville Bordeaux Blend
Bid on this bottle of 2016 Bevan "Tench Vineyard EE" Oakville Bordeaux Blend (96VN). Vinous: "The 2016 Red Wine EE Tench Vineyard is a very beautiful wine that shows yet another facet of this superb Oakville site. Super-ripe dark cherry, plum, mocha and new leather run through a pliant, expressive red that will drink well earlier than some of the more imposing wines in this range. The high presence of Cabernet Franc works wonders. The blend is 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Cabernet Franc and 5% Merlot. (AG)" (12/2018)

2010 Mumm "DVX" Napa Valley Sparkling Wine
Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2010 Mumm "DVX" Napa Valley Sparkling Wine (95CG). Connoisseurs Guide: "Assuming its usual place very near the head of the Rosé class and, in this outing, a little more explicitly fruity than many past efforts have been, the 2010 DVX version gives up nothing in the way of champenized richness and complexity but simply brings a hint of strawberries into its mix. Its mouthfilling mousse is as fine as it is endless and the wine could not be better balanced, and its ever so slight last-minute astringency provides just the right touch of vinous grip to earn it a place at the table with any number of richer seafoods and poultry preparations. It will do stellar service with well-seasoned crab cakes and keep pleasing still when the course later shifts to poached salmon or even pan-roasted duck breasts. *Three Stars*" (11/2016)

2006 Egly-Ouriet "Cuvée des Grands Côtés" Coteaux Champenois Vieilles Vignes Ambonnay Rouge
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2006 Egly-Ouriet "Cuvée des Grands Côtés" Coteaux Champenois Vieilles Vignes Ambonnay Rouge. Stephan Reinhardt writes: "The growing domaine farms 12 hectares, largely in Ambonnay, but also in Verzenay, Vrigny and Bouzy. All the wines are fermented with natural yeasts in barrels. The malolactic fermentation is blocked to maintain the freshness, which is one of the characteristic features in the terroir-driven Egly-Ouriet portfolio. All of the wines are bottled unfiltered ("since 20 years") and disgorged after four to six years as Brut or as Extra Brut. (Note that this is only a question of declaration rather than analysis, since also the bruts are dosed with only two or three grams per liter.) The old vine Pinot Meunier "Les Vignes de Vrigny" is remarkably fine and will gain complexity over the years in the bottle. The famous Blanc de Noirs "Les Crayères" is an exceptional single vineyard Pinot Noir Grand Cru from Ambonnay, whereas the Brut Tradition and the

2002 Bollinger "R.D." Extra Brut Champagne
Bid on this bottle of 2002 Bollinger "R.D." Extra Brut Champagne (99JS, 97W&S, 96JD, 96WS, 95DC, 95VN, 94BH). James Suckling: "Super fresh, this is striking given the 10 years in the cellars; it has a fine citrus nose - plenty of lemon, grapefruit, yellow chalky notes, some lighter floral elements too. The palate is super dry (dosage at 3-4g) and there's a silky, sherbet-like texture, smooth, fine and long. The citrus flavours give way to the driving surging acidity, thunderous acidity, really driving and powerful. The finish twists very slowly through to light-toasted cashew fruit flavours, but lemon citrus prevails. This is thrilling Champagne. " (05/2014)

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2008 Piper-Heidsieck Brut Champagne (94RP, 93WS, 91JS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2008 Vintage Brut offers a clear and toasty aroma on the nose. Pure, fresh, lean and delicate but complex and mineral on the palate, this is a lithe and elegant, very finessed and persistent 2008 with grip and expression. This is a complex, intense yet light and very elegant Champagne with a pure, mineral-structured and persistent finish. (SR)" (11/2017)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1962 Rayne-Vigneau, Sauternes. Bid on this bottle of 2002 Krug Brut Champagne (100JG, 100JS, 100W&S, 100WE, 99DC, 97BH, 97RP, 96WS). Wine Enthusiast: "This is a fabulous wine from the greatest Champagne vintage so far this century. Still young, it blends almost equal amounts of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay fleshed out with Pinot Meunier. The minerality and the rich apple and green fruits are balanced, and acidity cuts into the wine with a pure, perfumed line of freshness. The wine could be drunk now, but it will age well into the the 2020s. *2016 100 Cellar Selection No. 1* (RV)" (12/2016)
