91-93 points Jeb Dunnuck: "Not yet bottled, the 2017 Rasteau Brunel De La Gardine is fabulous all the way and is going to compete with the top wines in the appellation. Based on 75% Grenache and 25% Syrah brought up all in tank, this medium to full-bodied, pure, concentrated effort boasts a deep purple color as well as notes of blackberries, ground pepper, crushed flowers, and violets. Bid on this 7-bottle lot of 1999 Domaine Gourt de Mautens (Jérôme Bressy) Rasteau. Jeb Dunnuck says: "Covering 13 hectare of old vines (45-90-years old) in Rasteau, this estate was taken over by Jerome Bressy in 1998. The farming is all organic, yields are miniscule and he producers a single red and white cuvee. Today, he's making some of the greatest wines in the Southern Rhone. Unfortunately, there's just not much to go around, but if readers want to taste the essence of these sun baked, south-facing slopes in Rasteau, don't miss a chance to grab some of these." (Wine Advocate, 1/2015)
Starting Bid: $210.00
