Connoisseurs Guide: "If a sparkler that has seen plenty time in the bottle, this one does not play to the overt toastiness that aged sparklers are wont to do but is instead a mildly creamy, neatly tailored rendition that has held on to a touch of evident fruit. It is a touch soft in feel with a dosage that nudges it to the upward limits of sweetness for a Brut, but it is made all the more mannerly by its lack of biting acidity. While it will certainly serve handily with a wide range of lighter foods, it is a polished wine that has matured nicely and is one that is very easy to sip on its own. *Two Stars*" (12/2017)
