2009 Alban "Estate Vineyard" Edna Valley Viognier
Back In Stock!
90 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2009 Viognier is very fresh, with loads of honeyed peach and apricot as well as some exotic lychee and floral notes. The wine has good acidity and medium to full body, with more minerality than most California Viogniers. " (08/2010)
Price: $39.99

2009 Pape Clément Blanc, Pessac-Léognan
Top Pick!
100 points James Suckling: "This really is phenomenal. It shows subtle complexity with dried lemons, papaya, and hints of vanilla. What blows you away is the palate. It is so dense yet agile with amazing tension and a bright finish. It builds and builds in the finish. Superb. Speechless." (07/2012) 100 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2009 Pape Clement Blanc is an absolutely remarkable wine, which is not a surprise given what this historic estate has done in both white and red over the last 20 years. Their white wine, an intriguing blend of 4...

96 points John Gilman: "The 2009 Dauvissat Les Clos is every bit a match for the surreal Les Preuses. The flawless bouquet offers up scents of green apples, grapefruit, a touch of young Chablis’ green fruit tones, a brilliant base of flinty minerality, smoky notes, dried flowers and wet stones. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, pure and absolute rock solid at the core, with a very racy chassis of acidity, laser-like focus and a brilliant, snappy and nearly endless finish. Stunning juice. (Drink between 2018-2045) 96+" (11/2010) 96 points Rob...

96 points Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Pale yellow. Musky, slightly high-toned aromas of lemon, lavender, hazelnut and white pepper, complicated by suggestions of earth and toast. Sappy and densely packed but youthfully imploded; less glyceral today than the Forest and Vaillons but boasts explosive minerality and outstanding inner-mouth lift. The chewy, extremely long finish perfumes the taste buds with citrus peel, flowers and spices. A superb and very ripe example of this grand cru. (ST)" (07/2011) 95 points Allen Meadows - Burghound...

Bid on this magnum of 2009 Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru (1.5L) (95VN, 95WS, 94BH, 93ST). Vinous: "There is just one barrel of the 2009 Bâtard-Montrachet, which is a shame, as the wine is marvelous. This is a breathtaking, rich Bâtard endowed with layers of expressive fruit. Minerals and all sorts of crushed rocks frame the intensely pointed, chiseled finish. The Bâtard remains fresh, vibrant and weightless in a kaleidoscopic, dazzling style that only great white Burgundy is capable of delivering. (AG)" (08/2011)

Bid on this bottle of 2009 Domaine Arnaud Ente Meursault (92JG, (87-90BH), 90ST). John Gilman: "The 2009 Meursault AC from Monsieur Ente is another really lovely bottle in the making, which delivers a superb aromatic blend of apple, tangerine, almonds, complex minerality and a floral topnote. On the palate the wine is deep, fullish and very racy, with fine mid-palate depth, lovely focus and superb length and grip on the classy finish. Fine juice. (Drink between 2013-2030)" (11/2010)
Starting Bid: $240.00

Bid on this bottle of 2009 Domaine Arnaud Ente Meursault "Les Petits Charrons" (93JG, (89-92BH), 91ST, 90VN). John Gilman: "Petits Charrons is one of the warmer microclimates in Meursault and the 2009 version from Arnaud Ente is the ripest wine in the cellar this year, weighing in at 13.3 percent alcohol. But the wine is most emphatically not overripe by any stretch of the imagination, just classic Meursault. The very lovely nose offers up scents of apple, oranges, a bit of passion fruit, hazelnuts, iodine, lovely minerality and citrus zest. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and a touch broader on the attack than the Clos des Ambres, with a fine core, impeccable focus and balance and great backend cut and minerality. Just a stellar bottle. Drink between 2015-2035." (12/2010)
