Bid on this 12-bottle lot of 1992 Certan de May, Pomerol in original wood. This legendary Château, situated in the south-eastern part of the famous Pomerol plateau, boasts 5 hectares of ancient vines planted on exceptional clay-silica terroir.
Starting Bid: $420.00

Bid on this bottle of 1992 Dunn Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (97RP, 97VN). Vinous: "The 1992 Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain is simply stunning. Wow. The fruit is so vibrant, alive and expressive. A wine of extraordinary harmony, the 1992 flows across the palate with voluptuous fruit. Silky tannins give the 1992 a measure of textural finesse that is compelling. Rose petals, sweet red berries and flowers build to a deep, resonant finish that is striking for its purity and beauty. I have also had the 1992 Napa Valley Cabernet recently, confirming this is a great Dunn vintage all around. Readers holding the 1992 are in for a real treat. (AG)" (02/2014)
Starting Bid: $193.88

Bid on this bottle of 1992 Opus One Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (95DC, 92RP, 92WS, 90VN). Decanter: "Still evident power and concentration running through the body of the wine, although salinity and soft cedar on the finish takes it into a more tertiary feel. An enjoyable see-saw between young and old, this feels firm and bright in what was an early harvest year. 38 days skin contact. (JA)" (09/2019)
Starting Bid: $235.00

Bid on this bottle of 1992 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 94DC). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This was a magical showing for the 1992 Monte Bello—and the best bottle I've ever encountered. At age 26, the wine is still stunningly vibrant and youthful, bursting from the glass with a classic bouquet of cassis, blackberries, black truffles, gravelly soil and pencil shavings. On the palate, it's full-bodied, multidimensional and utterly complete, with superb concentration and energy, its richly layered mid-palate framed by fine-grained, satiny tannins, concluding with a long, sapid finish. Above all, it stands out for its seamless balance and delineation. While for many years the more flashy and dramatic 1991 stole the limelight, as the dust settles, the deeper, more complex 1992 has emerged as the greater wine and one of Ridge's true classics.
