95 points James Halliday: "85.5% cabernet sauvignon, 9.6% merlot, 4.9% shiraz. Destemmed, open-fermented, cultured yeast, 10 days on skins matured for 18 months in oak. Cassis comes up to meet the nose before inhaling begins, and everything flows on smoothly and logically from that point on. Byrne is achieving things others can't, this a very good example from a vintage that wasn't a cake walk. " (08/2019)
