89-91 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2009 Volnay is a soft, caressing wine. The bouquet is open and expressive, while the fruit reveals considerable nuance. There is a hint of firmness to the tannins, but there is enough fruit to provide balance. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2019. (NM)" (05/2011) Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Medium red. Pretty, floral aromas of red raspberry and cherry. Smooth, pure and fruit-driven, with good lift and underlying spiciness. Not particularly sweet or fleshy but juicy and bright, with a firm, pe...

Starting Bid: $60.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2009 Domaine De La Vougeraie Charmes Chambertin Grand Cru "Les Mazoyères" (95RP, (92-94BH)). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2009 Charmes-Chambertin Les Mazoyères comes across a big, powerful and super intense. It bursts from the glass with huge dark fruit, freshly cut flowers, tar and licorice, all of which come together with notable intensity. The 2009 shows off superb textural richness all the way through to the finish. The Charmes is young, young, young. (AG)" (04/2012)

Bid on this bottle of 2009 Domaine Bizot Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru ((90-92BH)). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "This offers a clear step up in both aromatic complexity but elegance as well with restrained wood treatment adding nuance to the primarily ripe black fruit suffused nose. The mouth coating and extract rich medium weight plus flavors possess excellent focus on the linear, deep and highly energetic finish. Worth considering. *Sweet Spot Outstanding*" (01/2011)

2009 Domaine Louis Jadot Clos de la Roche Grand Cru 6-Pack (Pre-Arrival) (Pre-Arrival)
93 points Allen Meadows - Burghound: "A pungently earthy nose also offers supporting aromas of gentle wood, spice and both red and dark fruit components. There is excellent richness and body to the large-scaled, mineral-inflected and openly powerful flavors that possess plenty of tannin-buffering dry extract before terminating in a striking long finish. This is a robust and very serious effort that possesses excellent cellaring potential and note well that it will need it as this is presently a bruiser." (04/2015) 93 points Vinous: "Moderately saturate...

Bid on this bottle of 2009 Domaine Georges Roumier Chambolle-Musigny (91JG, 90BH, 90ST, 90VN, 90WS). John Gilman: "The 2009 Chambolle AC was also in tank at the time of my visit and was showing beautifully. The bouquet is a classy blend of blood orange, red and black cherries, lovely minerality, coffee, fresh herbs, plenty of roses and a smoky topnote. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, long, very pure and racy, with a lovely core of fruit, moderate tannins, fine focus and impressive grip on the very long and refined finish. This will make friends right out of the blocks, but I would love to give it at least five years in the cellar to really let the complexity unfold. 91+" (11/2010)
Starting Bid: $270.00

Bid on this bottle of 2009 Dujac Fils et Père Chambolle-Musigny ((88-90BH), (89-90JG), 90RP, 90VN). Vinous: "The 2009 Chambolle-Musigny floats across the palate with red berries, wild flowers and spices. I can't see any reason to delay gratification. The Chambolle is a great example of the delicious wines that are found at the village level in 2009. A textured, highly expressive finish rounds out this sensual beauty. (AG)" (04/2012)

Bid on this bottle of 2009 Georges Noellat Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru "Les Beaux Monts". Neal Martin offered the following update on this domaine: "'Noellat' might be a name synonymous with Vosne-Romanee for decades. However 22-year-old Maxime Cheurlin, Georges Noellat’s nephew, is a name to look for in the future. He grew up in Champagne rather than the Cote d’Or since his parents run a successful champagne house, but it seems that Maxime heard the calling and seems intent on reinstalling the family name in Burgundy. With some enviable parcels of vine scattered around the locale, Maxime works out of the family’s small cellars just behind his parents’ house whose conservatory offers a fantastic panorama across their holding of Les Chaumees. Stylistically, these wines reminded me of Sylvain Cathiard. Yes, there is a modern sheen lent by the new oak, although it only seemed to be slightly excessive with respect to the Echezeaux. Maxime seems to be a driven young vigneron whose tenets have bee

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2009 Rochioli "Estate" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir (92WS, 91RP, 91ST, 91WE). Wine Spectator: "Openly fruity, with plum, black cherry, mineral and spice notes that show a touch of cedar. Medium- to full-bodied, retaining its delicate profile. (JL)" (09/2011)
Starting Bid: $180.00

Bid on this magnum of 2009 Olivier Bernstein Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru (1.5L) (92ST). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Deep aromas and flavors of black- and redcurrant, smoked meat and sexy oak spices; faintly liqueur-like. Very rich and ripe, but with good verve for its thickness. Finishes long and smooth, with suave, fine-grained tannins. "In 2009, the vintage is more important than the cru," noted Olivier Bernstein, who was not sure that these wines would ever really shut down in bottle. "Put it like this: If I'm in the kitchen cooking, I would normally say 'I'm in the mood for a Bonnes-Mares, or a Mazi,' but with this vintage I'd be more likely to say 'I'm in the mood for a 2009.'" (ST)" (03/2012)
