Bid on this bottle of 2005 Domaine Louis Jadot Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru (98WE, (91-94BH)). Wine Enthusiast: "A complete wine. As it starts in the mouth, there is a feeling of everything in its place. The tannins are initially soft, dusty rather than dry; then the dark plums, red berries and so-sweet strawberries come into play. And finally, they all come together in a climax of richness and freshness. (RV)" (06/2008)
Starting Bid: $205.00

Bid on this magnum of 2005 Domaine de la Pousse d'Or Volnay 1er Cru "Clos d'Audignac" (1.5L) ((89-92BH)). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "Somewhat curiously, the fruit here is both higher-toned and redder than usual plus it's airier and more refined compared to what I typically find and though the muscle and power that one expects shows up in the mouth as the middle weight plus flavors are sweet, intense and very firmly structured. While the refinement of the tannins can't match those of the Bousse d'Or, this is a lovely effort in every respect that should repay up to a decade of cellaring and should drink well for another." (04/2007)
Starting Bid: $116.00

Bid on this magnum of 2005 Geantet-Pansiot Gevrey-Chambertin "En Champs" (1.5L) ((90-92BH), 91ST, 91WS, 90RP). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "Background notes of wood spice frame the intensely earthy and rather animale nose of mostly red berry fruit aromas that combine with powerful and exceptionally ripe and rich flavors that explode on the mouth coating and hugely long finish. This is not an elegant wine but the sheer depth of extract is incredibly impressive as is the superb phenolic ripeness and there is a velvety natural sweetness that completely buffers the considerable tannic spine. One to buy. *Outstanding Top Value*" (01/2007)
Starting Bid: $115.00

Bid on this bottle of 2005 Dujac Fils & Père Chambolle-Musigny (92WS, (88-90BH)). Wine Spectator: "Lovely floral, spice, cherry and wild berry aromas and flavors mingle in this fresh red. Rose and sandalwood accents start out, with coffee and licorice emerging midway. Terrific delicacy and harmony. Best from 2011 through 2024. (BS)" (05/2008)
Starting Bid: $97.00

Bid on this bottle of 2005 Sea Smoke "Ten" Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir (94WE, 93ST, 93W&S, 92WS, 90BH). Wine Enthusiast: "Ten is Sea Smoke’s biggest Pinot, a barrel selection chosen for sheer volume. It easily handles its 100% new oak coating. Needs decanting; even 15 minutes in the glass brought a unifying process, integrating the cedar and smoke with the explosive blackberry, cherry and chocolate fruit, and revealing the rich, dense, satiny texture." (12/2007)

Bid on this magnum of 2005 Vincent Girardin Corton-Bressandes Grand Cru (1.5L) ((89-92BH)). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "A more elegant mix of high-toned red Pinot fruit aromas blend into refined, pure, sweet and detailed flavors that also emphasize an almost pungent minerality, yet unlike the Perrières, here the finish is very suave, round and isn't quite as structured, focused or driving. " (04/2007)
Starting Bid: $110.00

Bid on this bottle of 2005 Marcassin "Blue Slide Ridge" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (97WS, 96RP). Wine Spectator: "Intense and focused, complex and full-bodied, with tiers of spicy black cherry, wild berry, raspberry and plum, at points subtle yet expansive, with touches of anise, mineral, sage and cherry rhubarb. The finish sails on and on. (JL)" (07/2010)
Starting Bid: $170.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2005 Domaine Louis Jadot Latricières-Chambertin Grand Cru ((93-95BH), (91-93RP)). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "A fresh, airy and highly expressive nose of finely detailed earthy red berry fruits that emphasize the underlying minerality before dissolving into rich, textured and supple medium full-bodied flavors that possess outstanding intensity and a powerful and stunningly long finish. This is one of those 'wow' wines with the balance and inner density to age for decades. *Don't Miss!*" (04/2007)
Starting Bid: $621.00
