Of the 2012 Sine Qua Non "Stock" Central Coast Syrah (1.5L),Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "A step up from the Grenache, the blockbuster-styled 2012 Syrah Stock checks in as a blend of 84% Syrah, 7% Grenache, 6% Petit Sirah, and the rest Viognier and Mourvedre, that was fermented with 32% whole clusters and aged in just over half new French oak. It offers stunning notes of blackcurrants, cassis, smoked meats, ground pepper and wild herbs to go with a full-bodied, unctuous, layered, yet always graceful and elegant feel on the palate. Nicely structured, with perfect overall balance, it still has the open-knit character of the vintage, yet has plenty of underlying structure, which at the moment is slightly

Deep purple colored, full-bodied, seamless, elegant, and just heavenly textured and long, with ultra-fine tannin, it opens up with time in the glass and is a monumental effort that has another 15-20 years of prime

Rita Hills Grenache (100RP, 100VN, 98JD) and 3-bottles of 2015 Sine Qua Non "M - Eleven Confessions Vineyard" Sta. Rita Hills Syrah (99JD, 99RP, 98VN). Of the 2015 Sine Qua Non "E - Eleven Confessions Vineyard" Sta. Rita Hills Grenache ,Vinous writes: "The 2015 Grenache E, from Elaine and Manfred Krankl’s Eleven Confessions Vineyard, is stunningly beautiful. Remarkably light on its feet for such a sumptuous wine, the 2015 has so much to offer. Beautifully expressive aromatics make a strong opening impression. Dark red and purplish berry fruit, mint, sweet spice and licorice develop with air, but it is the wine’s overall feel that stands out most. At times, the E is quite powerful, while in other moments it is much more delicate. That contrast makes for an utterly captivating wine. (A

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Sine Qua Non "Jusqu' à l'os" Sta. Rita Hills Grenache (100RP, 98JD, 96VN). It displays a medium to deep garnet color and rock star vibrant red currant and black raspberry scents with hints of licorice, mocha, Indian spices and peppered salami plus oh-so-fragrant and seductive touches of potpourri and chargrill. Medium to full-bodied, concentrated and opulently fruited in the mouth, the alluring, velvety tannins support savory, spicy layers right through the long, mineral-laced finish.
