Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2003 Dominique Laurent Clos Vougeot Grand Cru ((93-96ST)). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "(80% of this wine comes from the prime Grand Maupertuis section of the vineyard and was harvested on September 6, according to Laurent) Ruby-red. Superripe, liqueur-like aromas of raspberry, meat, gunflint and roast coffee. Huge, broad and extremely deep, with the raspberry, mineral and meat flavors continuing through the wine. Finishes with extraordinary breadth, with the major tannins coating the entire mouth and dusting the front teeth. Wow! Laurent says this is 14.2% alcohol and was not acidified." (03/2005)
