In the great beer producing country of Belgium, some brewers have made it a tradition to give their beers an unusual name. Sometimes the name is curious, now and then it is diabolical and other times it is just plain silly. Damnation is an interpretation of a Belgian style Strong Golden Ale. It has extraordinary aromas of banana and pear with mouth-filling flavors of sweet malt and earthy hops. The lingering finish is dry and slightly bitter but very, very smooth. 7.0%ABV / 1.068 O.G / 25 BUs

93 points Wine Enthusiast: "Now available in widget cans, Left Hand’s Nitro Milk Stout, America’s top-selling craft nitro stout, is not one to be overlooked. It pours with a beautiful presentation—and should be poured hard—as upward waves of foam cascade to the top of a dark black glass. The pillowy head releases initial notes of rich malt, roasted nuts, mocha and cocoa powder. The plush, smooth, mouthfilling palate offers more of the same, with lingering notes of vanilla ice cream topped with roasted cocoa nibs, toasted walnuts and espresso powder." K&...

From the brewery: "Technically, this is neither an ale nor a lager. The base recipe is for a Golden Ale, but we do the primary fermentation with 100% brettanomyces. The brett gives it some sour notes but not as much as if it had been aged with lacto and pedio. It’s rather refreshing on a warm day!"

96 points Wine Enthusiast: "One of the most iconic Trappist beers, this pours a gorgeous golden-orange color, with a large, frothy off-white head that lingers. Bottled with brettanomyces, you can immediately pick up on the wonderfully complex, dry, funky earth and barnyard notes, with additional aromas of orange peel, green apple, gingered white tea, yeasty spice and freshly baked bread. The medium-bodied mouthfeel boasts bright, fizzy carbonation and refreshing acidity, making the palate seem light and approachable. It finishes dry and spicy, with flavo...

Delightfully tart and slightly sweet, this ale is our refreshing take on an easy-drinking fruit beer. Watermelon is the highlight of this lightly-hopped treat and gives it a hint of satisfying juiciness to balance the tang and bite we love in a gose style. "Aged in French oak wine barrels for twelve months with distinct characteristics of fruit and subtle oak" sounds more like a description of wine than beer. However, Temptation is indeed beer. Temptation is a Blonde Ale aged in French oak chardonnay barrels with Brettanomyces. Flavors of wine and oak absorb into the brew throughout its aging. Temptation is re-fermented in the bottle to create its carbonation--a process commonly used to make fine champagne and sparkling wine. Spent yeast forms a thin layer of sediment to remain in the bottle. 7.25%ABV / 1....

From the brewery: "One of our many award-winning beers, Porter emphasizes the darker, roasted aspects of malt. Hints of dark chocolate and freshly roasted coffee provide the focus, while hops remain in the background. Not as full-bodied as a stout, Porter bridges the gap between malty brown ales and our more heavily roasted stouts."
