94 points Wine Enthusiast: "Syrah from Old Stones Vineyard makes up three-quarters of the blend of this wine, with the balance of Grenache from Olsen Vineyard. The aromas are outrageous, with notes of fire pit, freshly peeled tangerine, potpourri, gravel, herb and peat. Pillowy-soft fruit and an olive brine note extend on the finish. The textured mouthfeel only heightens the appeal. *Editors' Choice* (SS)" (07/2019)

93 points Wine Spectator: "A gutsy style, with a frame of brick dust around a core of steeped cherry, plum and blackberry fruit. The back end pulls in dried sage, savory and tobacco notes. The finish lingers over a singed chestnut hint. Rock-solid and unabashedly old-school. (JM)" (05/2017) 92 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "According to Laurence Féraud, the 2014 Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee Reservee was bottled in November 2016. It's already drinking well, with charming aromas of potpourri leading the way. It's medium to full-bodied, rounded out b...

98 points Wine Enthusiast: "This wine shows complexities of cocoa, leather, rose petal and earth that juxtapose mouthwatering blackberry and plum flavors. Its fruit is at the forefront but anchored by a mineral undertow that should intensify with age. It's a beauty already, framed by fine, chalky tannins. (AI)" (12/2019) 94 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "In years in which there's no Cuvée da Capo, Feraud produces a Cuvée Laurence, which is similar to the Cuvée Reservée, but with extended aging (usually around four years) in foudre. The 2014 Châ...

92-94 points Vinous: "Brilliant ruby-red. Smoke-accented aromas of red and dark berry preserves, star anise and candied flowers convey a subtle hint of garrigue in the background. Sweet, seamless and broad on the palate, offering concentrated black raspberry and rose pastille flavors that turn spicier with air. Rich but vibrant as well, with no excess fat. Supple tannins build steadily on a very long, incisive finish that leaves behind notes of dark berries and candied flowers. (JR)" (04/2016) 92 points Wine & Spirits: "Claire Fabre turned out a bright...

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2014 Saxum "James Berry Vineyard" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (98RP, 97WS, 96VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The sensationally pure and seamless 2014 James Berry Vineyard Proprietary Red (42% Grenache, 24% Mourvèdre, 21% Syrah, 8% Counoise and 5% Roussanne) was brought up in a mix of barrels and foudre, followed by six months in concrete tanks. The wine offers incredibly rich and layered notes of black raspberries, creme de cassis, crushed flowers, melted licorice and peppery herbs in its full-bodied, impeccably balanced profile. Showing the more upfront, hedonistic style of the vintage, this full-bodied beauty still has ample underlying tannin, beautiful mid-palate depth and a killer finish that keeps you coming back for more. Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2014 Saxum "Broken Stones" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (97JD, 95RP, 95VN, 92WS). Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2014 Broken Stones is heavenly stuff! Made from a blend of 41% Syrah, 19% Grenache, 16% Petite Sirah, 13% Mourvèdre and the balance Tempranillo and Roussanne, this inky colored beauty offers terrific notes of mostly blue fruits (blackberries, blueberries), crushed violets, Asian spices and forest floor. Full-bodied, concentrated, elegant and seamless on the palate, it has a ripe tannin and a gorgeous finish." (08/2017)
Starting Bid: $450.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2014 Booker "Vertigo" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (95RP, 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A big, rich, structured effort, the 2014 GSM Vertigo is 68% Syrah, 26% Mourvedre and 6% Grenache. Sporting a saturated purple color, it offers fabulous notes of cassis, blackberries, crushed rock, licorice and dried Provencal herbs (lavender, thyme) in a full-bodied, rich package. One of the more tannic wines from Eric, it needs 2-3 years of bottle age and will have a decade or more of longevity. (JD)" (06/2016)
Starting Bid: $210.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2014 Domaine la Garrigue "Cuvée Romaine" Côtes-du-Rhône. Based in Vacqueyras, Domaine la Garrigue remains an incredible source of both quality and value. Importer Eric Solomon describes the domaine and the Cuvée Romaine: "The Cuvée Romaine is a blend made from the more precocious tanks at Domaine la Garrigue. As such, it is in fact a declassified Vacqueyras not needing additional time in concrete. Therefore it can be viewed as a really easy-going 'Vacqueyras' or an amazingly complex and serious Côtes-du-Rhône... Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Saxum "Terry Hoage Vineyard" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (97JD, 96RP, 95VN, 92WS). Jeb Dunnuck: "A similar blend to the 2015, the 2014 Terry Hoage Vineyard (48% Syrah, 30% Grenache and 22% Mourvèdre) is a deeper, richer wine that offers sensational notes of blackberries, currants, pepper, crushed violets and hints of graphite. Deep, rich and layered, yet light on its feet as well as elegant and graceful, this sensational 2014 has sweet tannin, good acidity and a big finish. Give bottles a year or two (it’s great today as well) and enjoy through 2028. " (08/2017)
