Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1995 Bonneau du Martray Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru (93RP, 93WS, 92BH). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "I was bowled-over by the quality of the 1995 Corton-Charlemagne, it is certainly the finest wine I have tasted from this famous estate. Beguiling aromas of red berries, vanilla, and traces of coconut are followed by a powerful punch of concentrated, extracted, and intense flavors. This gorgeous medium-to-full-bodied wine has a tightly wound 'nugget' of red currants, almonds, hazelnuts, pears, and minerals in its silky-textured, extremely well-balanced, and admirably long character. Bravo! to Jean-Charles de la Moriniere for the three outstanding Corton-Charlemagnes he has crafted since taking over this estate in 1994. (PR)" (04/1998)
Starting Bid: $290.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1995 Burgundy Tasting Lot, including 1-bottle of 1995 Domaine Louis Latour Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru ((93-95RP)) and 1-bottle of 1995 Maison Louis Latour Meursault 1er Cru "Château de Blagny" (90WS). Of the 1995 Domaine Louis Latour Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru ,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "Corton Charlemagne is Latour's flagship wine, as the Griotte Chambertin is to Claude Dugat and the Musigny Vieilles Vignes is to the Comte de Vogue. True to form, the 1995 is an outstanding effort. An extremely tight but super-ripe nose of sweet fruits is followed by a massive cascade of deep, sweet, intense, tropical fruits mixed with candied apples and red currants. This full-bodied, excellently structured wine has enormous depth and concentration, as well as a long finish (flavors of cassis, apples and a touch of lemon linger for 30 seconds or more). (PR)" (04/1997)
Starting Bid: $150.00
