1993 Glen Garioch "Adelphi" 21 Year Old Single 1st Fill Sherry Butt Cask Strength Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky (750ml)

This exceptional single cask of Glen Garioch was bottled way back in 2015 by Adelphi. They split the cask between the US and European markets and bottled 221 bottles for this side of the Atlantic. The dense dark sherry and old school malt character are indicative of the old style Glen Garioch that has since been adjusted. They used their traditional malt floors all the way up until their closure in 1994, so this may have been made from barley malted onsite. Regardless of that fact, the spirit is one of the finest modern Glen Gariochs we've ever tasted, a ...

1993 Darroze Domaine de Couzard-Lasalle Bas Armagnac (750ml)

Mr. Cazenave has become one of the most renowned producers of Armagnac on the market today. His beautiful estate in the rolling hills outside of Mauléon d'Armagnac have old vine Folle Blanche planted to sable fauve and sandy clay. 1993 Viader Napa Valley Red Blend

93 points Wine Spectator: "Wonderful perfumed aromas--rich, complex coffee, currant, vanilla bean, anise and blackberry--with flavors to match. Intense, with firm, vibrant fruit and tannins, seemingly with a long way to go.--1993 California Cabernet retrospective. (JL)" (11/2003) 88-92 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Made with a high percentage of Cabernet Franc in the blend, Viader's proprietary red wine is Napa Valley's answer to Cheval Blanc. The interesting aromatic profile offers an intensely perfumed bouquet of black and red fruits, spices ...

1993 M. Chapoutier "Le Pavillon" Hermiatge Rouge (1.5L)

93 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1993 Le Pavilion is the Hermitage of the Vintage. More austere than when I tasted it prior to bottling, it is one of the few 1993s with a sweet inner core of fruit, as well as a dense ruby/purple color, outstanding concentration and extract, and huge tannin in the finish. It is a harder style of Le Pavilion than the 1992, but it should turn out to be a 40- to 50-year wine. (RP)" (12/1996) 92 points Jeb Dunnuck: "Mature and drinking at point, the 1993 M. Chapoutier Ermitage Le Pavillon shows meaty black cher ...

1993 Michel Huard Vintage Calvados (750ml)

From Charles Neal: "The Huard family have lived on the Le Pertyer property in the Suisse-Normand for five generations. Jean-Francois Guillouet, who recently took over for his retired grandfather Michel, is the seventh generation. If one were to consider the properties of Camut and Giard from the Domaine de Montreuil as the most stunning examples of hautes-tiges plantings in the Pays d'Auge, and Lemorton as the most revered property in the Domfrontais, the Huard property would have to be considered the most admired in AOC Calvados."

1993 Vineyard 29 (Grace Family) Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

1993 Caymus Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Cabernet is king at Caymus. During the decade of the nineties, there has been a succession of sumptuous, rich, concentrated, lavishly-wooded, cassis-flavored Caymus Cabernet Sauvignons. The 1993 Cabernet Sauvignon has closed down since bottling, but it is still a deep, dark ruby/purple-colored wine with a tight but promising nose of blackcurrants and sweet vanillin, toasty oak. This backward wine is full-bodied, dense, powerful, as well as tannic. (RP)" (12/1996) Wine Spectator: "Wonderful coffee bean and vanilla aromas ...

1993 Silver Oak Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

90 points Connoisseurs Guide: "Even with a slight green bean note in the nose, this wine has proven to be a solid performer over time and has developed a seamless mix of ripe cherries and vanillin oak in both nose and flavor." (10/2007) 90 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1993 Cabernet Sauvignon Alexander Valley offers up a whiff of herbs in its tight nose, followed by chocolatey, spicy, black-cherry, and cassis flavors, an exotic, medium to full-bodied, concentrated palate, and moderate tannin in the lusty finish. It does not possess the def ...

1993 Mount Eden "Estate" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon

According to Robert Parker: "Mount Eden's Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is made from grapes grown in parcels of their vineyard not included in their Old Vine cuvee. I found it to be a very strong effort. It is tannic and dense, with earthy, blackcurrant, and licorice scents and flavors, and considerable body and richness. However, it is backward and almost formidably tannic. The wine possesses a good inner-core of sweet fruit, as well as admirable length, but I would recommend cellaring it for 7-8 years; it will keep for 15-20 years. Made from 75% Cabernet S ...

1993 Beringer "Bancroft Ranch" Howell Mountain Merlot

93 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1993 Merlot Bancroft Vineyard is cut from the same cloth as the massive 1992. It is a blockbuster, thick, chocolatey, black and red fruit-scented and flavored wine with full body, gobs of glycerin and extract, and a huge finish. It should age well for two decades. (RP)" (12/1995) Wine Spectator: "Serves up a complex core of earthy cherry, currant and chocolate and frames it with a toasty oak overlay. Finishes with a burst of fruit and mineral before the tannins clamp down." (08/1996)

1993 Duckhorn Napa Valley Merlot

90 points Wine Spectator: "*Highly Recommended* An intense and well-focused Merlot that has a rich, supple core of earthy currant, herb and cherry flavors that fold together nicely. Finishes with firm tannins that show just enough polish to encourage you to wait and see how this develops; try in 1998." (01/1996)

1993 Through The Grapevine "François Voyer Lot 93" Single Barrel Cask Strength Grande Champagne Cognac(750ml)

90 points Vinous: "From a 25-year-old single cask, selected from the Voyer family in Grande Champagne. Amber on the nose, with wet earth scents at first, then leather, then aromas like bananas Foster. On the palate, there’s earth and clay, dried cherries and tropical fruit. Pleasant and drinkable, but a bit unfocused. (45.9% abv) (JW)" (09/2019) K&L Notes: The Through The Grapevine project is one of the most exciting Cognac collections to come to market ever. The distillate literally only sees a coarse particulate filter before bottling. Nothing is add ...

1993 Domaine Dujac Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru
Bid on this bottle of 1993 Domaine Dujac Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru. Allen Meadows - Burghound: "Softly fragrant, complex and spicy Pinot fruit cut with classic earth aromas is followed by medium weight flavors that have really blossomed as of the last two years and it's clear that I underestimated this wine's potential early on. I would be drinking this now though there is no rush." (04/2005)

Bid on this 5L-bottle of 1993 Dunn Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (5L) (OWC - 95RP, 93VN, 91WS) in original wood. It is a massive Cabernet Sauvignon that requires a decade of cellaring - at the minimum. (RP)" (12/1996)
