Bid on this bottle of 1965 Mayacamas Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Mayacamas has a track record of excellence and quality quite apart from almost anyone else in Napa Valley. One of the original estates founded in this part of California, they have been producing highly structured and supremely age-worthy Cabernet Sauvignon for decades upon decades.
Starting Bid: $375.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1965 Krohn Colheita Port. Colheita is basically a tawny port from a single vintage, matured in oak casks for at least 7 years although most are aged in oak for a lot longer. Both the harvest year and the bottling date are mentioned on the label. This 1965 Coheita was bottled by Wiese & Krohn in 2002 (names of the two Norwegian founders of the firm), who are best known for their Colheitas. Dark honey and candied walnuts are just two of the flavours in a delicious melange.
Starting Bid: $300.00

Bid on this bottle of 1965 Graham "Malvedos" Vintage Port. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins and has certainly held up better than the aromatics, with touches of ginger, allspice and iron rust. This finish is cohesive and offers more pleasure than the nose suggested. Those born in this year should look here, rather than Bordeaux, to celebrate their birthdays. Drink now. Tasted October 2011. (NM)" (12/2011)
Starting Bid: $155.00
