Bid on this bottle of 1934 Latour, Pauillac (91RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "From what is considered to be the finest vintage of a disappointing decade, Latour's 1934 possesses a deep garnet color in addition to a smoky, mineral, sweet, cedary-scented nose with hints of tobacco, iron, asphalt, and a Provencal garrigue note. Ripe and long, with moderate tannin and admirable sweetness, the 1934 was showing exceptionally well. It appears capable of lasting for another decade." (06/2000)

Bid on this bottle of 1934 Dalva Colheita Port. One of the world's foremost experts on the wines of the Douro valley, Roy Hersh has levied phenomenal praise and a 95-point score on this classic, fully evolved port: "Medium maple color with golden-green rim. A dramatic first whiff which opened up in the glass to afford a ridiculously multifaceted mélange of scents; roasted nuts, orange pekoe tea, mahogany and with a coffee chaser. Incredible. Well-balanced and with sharp, crisp acidity that provides the focus to carry the sweet and intense hazelnut and citrus flavors through to a long finish. I had this next to the 1952 Dalva Golden White and this was not as complex, although very close. I am not quite sure what was "missing" as it was still a delicious Port and one I'd be thrilled to drink any day of the week. This helped me to further respect the greatness of the 1952."

Bid on this bottle of 1934 Margaux, Margaux. Jancis Robinson: "Pale lustrous fox red. Lightly soapy, indistinct nose. A little tart. Very fresh with marked acidity. High toned. A little bit skinny and lean. This wine is a real palate scrub! Pretty old and the fruit is fading but there is still some suggestion of Margaux floral fragrance. On its way down. (JR) 17.5/20" (07/2013)
