91 points Bob Campbell: "Delicately-scented sauvignon blanc with capsicum, blackcurrant bud, lime zest, green apple and a hint of saline, oyster-shell flavours. A tangy, mouth-watering wine with a crisp, drying and quite lengthy finish" (08/2020)
Price: $10.99
90 points Wine Enthusiast: "Pinot Meunier is rarely seen in
New Zealand, especially on its own, but it works
brilliantly for rosé. It’s bright and fruity, bouncing
with strawberry, watermelon and a stalky, white
spice note. There’s oodles of acidity on the palate
and ripe, fleshy red berries. It’s a refreshing little
number, with tingly fruit right to the finish." (02/2021)

96 points James Suckling: "Attractive bath powder and lemon blossom as well as white peach, grapefruit and some flint. The palate has a super fleshy feel with a blaze of acidity and long, fresh lemon, grapefruit and white-peach flavors. Good acidity and concentration." (08/2020)

91 points Wine Enthusiast: "A heady perfume of pineapple, lime leaf and passionfruit is backed by subtle green herb and grass notes. The juicy fruit feels cleansing on the tongue amidst a slightly chalky texture. This is a tasty example of the style that put New Zealand wine on the map. *Best Buy* (CP)" (03/2021)

It's punchy and vibrant with excellent varietal purity, finishing long and refreshing." (05/2020) 92 points Wine Spectator: "Supple and succulent, offering a generous and juicy mix of passion fruit, Key lime and ruby grapefruit flavors. Expressive and strong on the finish, with touches of freshly grated ginger and green tea. Drink now." (11...
93 points James Suckling: "Sweetly fragrant peach, mango, lemon and pear aromas lead to a textural palate that has such fleshy, richly flavored tropical and stone-fruit flavors. A blend of gewurztraminer, riesling and pinot gris. From biodynamically grown grapes. Drink now. " (11/2020) 93 points Sam Kim: "Offering pristine fruit aromas of apricot, rockmelon and juicy lemon on the nose with hints of spice and floral. The palate delivers excellent weight and succulent fruit intensity backed by rounded mouthfeel and whispering sweetness. It's vibrant and ...
95 points Bob Campbell: "A classic yin and yang sauvignon blanc with passionfruit and guava flavours contrasting with lime juice, green capsicum and lemongrass, while a sweet-and-sour contrast builds a delicious tension. Nice purity and length" (02/2021) 95 points Decanter: "Seductive bouquet of wild flowers and minerals, a fine leesy complexity and fresh aromas and flavours of citrus, peach tea and sweet hay. Crisp, refreshing, fruity and dry with fine texture. Just enough concentration of flavour to contrast the fresh herb notes and salivating acidit...

This wine is a blend of 80% Pais and 20% Carignan from the southern Maule region of Chile and is made in an old style called Pipeño. The wine is light in color with bright notes of crushed raspberry, wild strawberry, and rose petals that lead into underlying hints of dried herbs, mint leaves, fennel and thyme. This fruit driven, easy drinking wine with a bit of animale has fresh acid with low tannin and can be enjoyed with a slight chill.

94 points Bob Campbell: "Based on pinot noir, this pale-pink rosé has delicate raspberry, ripe pear, apple and a suggestion of red rose flavours. Impressively pure and delicate with a pleasantly dry finish. Highly recommended." (12/2020) 94 points Sam Kim: "Exquisitely charming and inviting, the bouquet shows nectarine, watermelon, lemon peel and white floral notes, leading to a finely focused palate that displays excellent fruit purity and persistency. Sourced from across the broad Western Cape region of South Africa, Radley & Finch offers this Chenin Blanc at an attractive entry-level price. Grapes were sourced from both bush vines and trellised vines primarily in the Agter Paarl and Swartland regions. Winemaker Thinus Kruger primarily utilized indigenous yeasts in a particularly slow fermentation to develop complexity. The result is a citrusy and yellow-fruited profile with hints of spice and grain. It is ready to drink right now, but will fill out and add complexity for a couple of years.

Producer's notes: "Contrary to common belief, Nouveau wine is the most difficult one to make and sell. In record time (around 4 weeks), you have to craft a wine that will be ready to drink on 3rd Thursday in November (in France). We don’t do any special vinifications for our Nouveau wines. It is on tasting that Pierre-Marie selects, from 20th October, the most supple cuvées with the best fruit expression for the assembly of his Beaujolais Nouveau Griottes. This cuvée is the epitome of Beaujolais Nouveau while remaining natural, with subtle aromas and fl...

Winery notes: Rajat Parr and Pete Stolpman's esoteric collaboration is labeled "Combe" referring to the French word for a small sheltered valley within a vineyard. This is 100% Trousseau raised in neutral 500L French Oak puncheons. Fermented 2/3 of the Trousseau de-stemmed and 1/3 whole cluster. Lots were kept separate to taste the result of each and we decided the two complimented each other. The whole cluster portion granted a bit of structure and delicate savory notes to the pure juiciness of the de-stemmed wine.

Stolpman's "Love You Bunches" used to be released around Valentine's Day, but in 2020, why wait? Why wait, indeed, when the carbonic maceration method employed by this innovative Central Coast winery, which keeps the "bunches" of grapes intact during fermentation, and greatly lessens harsh tannin extraction while keeping acidity high and alcohol low, from an earlier picking, results in an early-drinking, fresh and fruity Sangiovese wine! Here's an artifact of "2020" you'll be glad to have finished, with joy!

95 points Bob Campbell: "Intense and quite weighty sauvignon blanc with passionfruit, lime zest, gooseberry, red and green capsicum and subtle oyster-shell flavours, supported by deliciously tangy acidity that drives a lengthy finish. " (09/2020) 94 points Decanter: "Classic, pungent, herbaceous bouquet of pink grapefruit, tropical fruit, apple and fresh herbs. Equally urgent on the palate, with high acidity and flavours of passion fruit, pineapple, lemon, basil, white peach, flowers, hay and stony minerality. Delicious, fresh, crunchy texture and a le...
Styled after "Beaujolais nouveau" and coming from just east of Napa, this is the kind of Valdiguié that shows just why it was known in California as "Napa Gamay" for so many years. Distributor notes: "This is a fully formed wine, despite its exceptional youth. The color is a bright, ruby red. The nose is serious and wild; crushed raspberries, roses, wet earth dominate with a small amount of the banana that one would expect from a 100% carbonic wine. The palate is surprisingly structured with a length uncommon in a wine of its age."

The "So Fresh" series of wines from Stolpman represent a simpler wine built for timeless moments. The grapes are harvested earlier in order to create a lighter mouthfeel with higher acidity.
