Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2009 Louis Jadot Beaune 1er Cru "150th Anniversary Cuvee" (94RP, 94VN, 91BH). Vinous: "The 2009 Beaune 1er Cru 150th Anniversary is every bit as magical as it has always been. There is a translucence to the fruit that is just remarkable. That is the good news. The not so good news is that the 2009 remains very tightly wound and in need of further cellaring. The aromatics are just starting to open up, but the tannins remain quite fierce. Readers who own the 2009 should be prepared to cellar it for at least a few years. There is an effortlessness to the 2009 that is hard to describe, but that gives the wine its sense of impeccable balance. Hints of sweet pipe tobacco, cedar, dried herbs and cherry add the closing shades of aromatic nuance to this gorgeous, compelling Beaune from Jadot. The 2009 is a blend of 17 different sites. It’s complex and exceptional. Better in 2018 but so enjoyable to taste and drink now." (03/2015)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Candied stones and liquid minerals are intermingled with honeysuckle blossoms in the aromatics of the 2001 Riesling Auslese Brauneberger Juffer Sonnenuhr. This stunner is elegant beyond words, powerful, crystalline, and has a mind-boggling finish. Its light to medium-bodied, satin-textured personality is boldly flavored yet airy. Quartz, assorted minerals, verbena, and hints of candied limes are found in this complete offering's complex character. Anticipated maturity: 2007-2020+. (PR)" (12/2002)

Bid on this bottle of 2005 DeLille "Grand Ciel" Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95RP, 93ST, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2005 Grand Ciel is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon sourced from a new 18 acre estate vineyard in the Red Mountain AVA planted in 2001 adjacent to the renowned Ciel du Cheval vineyard. Purple-colored, it offers a superb aromatic array of cedar, mineral, scorched earth, black cherry, and blackberry. Layered, intense, and long, this opulent wine should be approaching its peak by 2015 and drink well through 2030." (06/2008)
