2018 Vignoble Dragon "La Belle Helene" Côtes de Provence Rosé

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2018 Cotes de Provence Rose La Belle Helene contains a bit of Rolle, which perhaps accounts for its aromas of grapefruit and white currants. It's light to medium-bodied on the palate, loaded with tart, citrusy flavors that extend through the finish. 2018 Domaine Petroni Corse Rosé (Corsica)

Corsica is one of the great, off-the-radar regions for wine production. The vineyards for Petroni date back to 1885 and are surrounded by the Corsican mountains to the west and the Mediterranean to the east. The winery is now in the hands of brothers Jacques and Francois Ramazotti. Like most classic rosés of this region, it is a blend of 50% Niellucciu, 35% Sciaccarellu, and 15% Grenache. How to describe Corsican rose? It is one of the finest of its kind with notes of nectarine, peach blossom, and white flowers. It is succulent with wonderful acidity and ...

2016 Domaine Petroni Corse Rouge (Corsica)

94 points Jeb Dunnuck: "Also a mix of Niellucciu and Syrah, the 2016 Corse Domaine Petroni came from granite soils along the Mediterranean and was raised all in demi-muids. This medium to full-bodied beauty certainly makes an impression. It has sensational minerality as well as notes of black cherries, blackberries, spice, and flowers. Deep, layered, incredibly elegant, and seamless, with the tension and vibrancy common from granite soils, it should evolve for well over a decade." This full-tilt seductress is robed in transparent barberry red with a sleek frame and only the right amount of suppleness to polish its angles and bring a beautiful esthetic to its curvature.
