Ca del Baio by Piemontese standards is a pretty good-sized winery, with over 65 acres of vineyards in the communes of Barbaresco and Treiso. Ca in Piemontes means house and Baio is a reference to a Bay horse which the earlier generations of the Grasso family owned. This is the fourth generation of wine growers in the family.
