92 points Wine Enthusiast: "Aromas of ripe orchard fruit, citrus, grilled herb and nuts delicately guide the nose. Round and delicious, the medium-bodied palate delivers baked yellow apple, creamy white peach, ginger and white almond alongside tangy acidity. A juicy note of candied lemon drop lingers on the close. *Editors’ Choice* (KO)" (07/2018)

90 points James Suckling: "A very pretty and fruity barbera with flavors of cherries and raspberries, as well as a hint of vanilla highlighting the medium body. Fresh acidity, too. A delicious wine. Drink now. " (06/2018) K&L Notes: The Barbera grapes for this wine were grown in vineyards dating back to the early 19th century. It's a vibrant ruby red in the glass with a dry, full body. This is mostly Chardonnay with a bit of Pinot Noir. According to Robert Parker: "This is a brilliant wine from winemaker Mattia Vezzola. The reference point for brilliantly pure, elegant, Italian sparkling wine, this offering can stand up to the finest Champagnes. This prestigious estate, created in the '70s by proprietor Vittorio Moretti, continues to fashion a bevy of dazzling sparklers." (12/02)
