92 points Vinous: "(these vines are almost 60 years old):Healthy bright ruby-red; the darkest of these '14s. Expressive, deep nose offers scents of boysenberry, violet, wild spices and meat. Very concentrated and dense but weightless, conveying an attractive restrained sweetness and a slightly honeyed character to the flavors of dark berries, minerals and meat. Precise but not at all hard, with big but pliant tannins arriving late. Some Pinot Beurrot in this parcel gives the wine an added measure of gras, notes Frédéric Esmonin. Clearly the pick of the l...

96 points Wine Spectator: "Dusty cherry, currant and leafy underbrush notes are the highlights of this tightly wound red, which is not giving much today, yet there is a center of sweet berry fruit. Fine, resonant and fresh aftertaste, with refined tannins. (BS)" (09/2017) 93-95 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2014 Charmes Chambertin Grand Cru has an elegant red berry bouquet that could disarm you at a hundred paces. This has so much finesse and detail. The palate is taut and crisp, bright, almost lucid red cherry fruit laced with orange zest...

Bid on this 9-bottle lot of 2014 Domaine Michel Briday Rully 1er Cru "Gresigny". Michel Briday and Rully both represent some of the best values in Burgundy today. The Gresigny plot of Chardonnay was planted in 1958 in hard limestone soils. The wine boasts a corresponding firm minerality but also a broad, expansive fruit profile that makes it a beautifully versatile version of white Burgundy that will pair with many different foods.
Starting Bid: $180.00

Bid on this bottle of 2014 Domaine du Comte Liger-Belair Vosne-Romanée "Clos du Chateau" (91JG, 91RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2014 Vosne-Romanée Clos du Château has a delightful red cherry and crushed strawberry nose with plenty of joie de vivre. The palate is well balanced with crisp tannin, a little hardness on the entry but that will ebb away with time. Fine structure on the finish with dried orange peel, enjoy this over the next 6-8 years. Just a delightful village cru from start to finish. (NM)" (06/2017)
Starting Bid: $535.00

Bid on this magnum of 2014 Domaine Ponsot Clos de la Roche Grand Cru Vieilles Vignes (1.5L) ((94-97BH), 97JG, 96JD, 95RP). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "There is enough wood to notice along with a hint of menthol on the markedly earthy red and dark berry fruit aromas where background hints of spice and floral elements are in evidence. The overtly powerful and concentrated broad-shouldered flavors display almost painful intensity before culminating in an explosively long and very firmly structured finish where once again a hint of bitter cherry appears. This is an interesting wine of contrasts as the mid-palate, even with all of its intensity, possesses a caressing palate feel yet the finish is bold, robust and unyielding. As the description confirms, this is going to require a long snooze in a cool cellar. *Don't Miss!*" (01/2016)
Starting Bid: $765.00

Bid on this bottle of 2014 Domaine du Comte Liger Belair Vosne-Romanée "La Colombière" ((90-91JG), (89-91RP), 90BH). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2014 Vosne Romanée les Colombières is blessed with lovely pure fruit on the nose, fuller than some premier crus Vosne-Romanées with impressive fruité. The palate is medium-bodied with a succulent entry, nicely judged acidity and good mineralité. This is a stylish and suave les Colombières with a pleasing saline tang right on the finish. (NM)" (12/2015)
Starting Bid: $425.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Domaine Henri Boillot Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru "Clos de la Mouchère" (95BH, 94VN, 91RP). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "This is sufficiently reduced that it presently masks the fruit and if you're tempted to try a bottle in its youth I would strongly advise decanting it first. Otherwise there is outstanding density to the focused and powerful middle weight plus flavors that stain the palate with dry extract that also helps to buffer the intensely mineral-driven finale that just goes on for minutes. This is flat out brilliant though note that it will not be an early drinker. In sum, this is a genuine 'wow' wine. *Outstanding*" (06/2016)
