Allen Meadows - Burghound: "By the standards of the average 2000 red, this is still exceptionally young, indeed to the point of being somber and almost taciturn on the earth red and dark berry fruit nose that leads to backward if round medium full flavors that finish with pronounced firmness on the nicely long finale. This will require the better part of a decade to really be at its best." (11/2006)
Price: $189.99

Bid on this magnum of 2000 Domaine Guy Amiot et Fils Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru "Les Demoiselles" (1.5L) (91BH, 91ST). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "Quite backward and very tight with definite wood toast aromas accompanied by a blast of fresh, ripe orchard fruits and white flowers all framed by a touch of earth. This is very rich and moderately powerful and offers both impressive volume and solid flavor authority though it doesn't have the minerality or detail of the Caillerets. This is persistent and extremely long with bright finishing acidity. *Outstanding*" (07/2002)
Starting Bid: $120.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2000 Domaine Colin-Deleger Puligny Montrachet 1er Cru "La Truffière" (91BH). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "Stunningly pure aromas of wet stones, hint of earth and crushed fresh herbs with direct, linear and remarkably fine flavors that are all about finesse rather than power. This is really lovely and the delineation is simply outstanding." (07/2002)
Starting Bid: $185.00

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2000 Louis Jadot Bonnes-Mares Grand Cru ((92-94ST), (89-92BH)). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Red-ruby. Classic Bonnes-Mares aromas of black cherry, coffee, chocolate, herbs and underbrush. Densely packed but already highly aromatic in the mouth, with strong dark fruit, smoke and spice notes. This really coats the entire palate. Perhaps best today on the explosive finish, which features serious but even tannins and terrific persistence of flavor. (ST)" (03/2002)
Starting Bid: $624.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2000 Domaine Bernard Morey Puligny Montrachet 1er Cru "La Truffières" (93BH, 92ST). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "This is wonderfully pure, fine and elegant with white flowers, ripe pear and green apple aromas combine beautifully with chiseled, taut and terrifically pure flavors plus length that won't quit. I especially like the mouth feel as the flavors seem to float across the palate. In a word, this is gorgeous and while it has not quite arrived at full maturity in this format, it's not as far away as one might think." (05/2008)
Starting Bid: $210.00
