Bid on this bottle of 2010 Dunn Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (98JS, 98VN, 95RP, 94ST, 92WS). James Suckling: "Fabulous aromas of currants, licorice and eucalyptus. Full body with an intense backbone of acidity and tannins. Chewy but wonderfully polished. Turns to terracotta. Firm and silky. Great wine. Try it in 2018. 3,000 cases. (JS)" (05/2014)

2015 Saxum "James Berry Vineyard" Paso Robles Rhône Blend
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2015 Saxum "James Berry Vineyard" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (97RP, 97VN, 96JD, 95WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Made from 33% Grenache, 32% Mourvèdre, 24% Syrah and 11% Counoise, the 2015 James Berry Vineyard Proprietary Red reveals a deep garnet-purple color and expressive nose of black currants, black cherries and mulberries with hints of baking spices, chocolate box, violets and Sichuan pepper. The palate is surprisingly elegant, with great intensity of flavors framed by soft, sensuous tannins and a lively line carrying the fruit and spices to a long, long finish. (LPB)" (09/2017)

2010 Rhys "Home Vineyard" San Mateo County Pinot Noir
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2010 Rhys "Home Vineyard" San Mateo County Pinot Noir (95RP, 93ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The more powerful side of the Santa Cruz Mountains comes through in the 2010 Pinot Noir Home Vineyard. Massive, incisive tannins frame black fruit, savory herbs and tar, in a sort of California version of Bonnes-Mares, with vertical tannins and great overall balance. I suppose the 2010 Home might lack just a touch of finesse, but it makes up for that with its compelling and deeply expressive personality. This is the first vintage that includes predominantly young vines from a recent replanting. It will be interesting to see how this site responds in future vintages, but I have to think the direction is pretty clear. (AG)" (08/2012)

1967 Vega Sicilia "Unico" Ribera del Duero
Bid on this bottle of 1967 Vega Sicilia "Unico" Ribera del Duero (96RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Both the bottle poured in January and then in June 2012 attested to a truly great Unico in this year. The 1967 is a blend of 75% Tinta Fino, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Malbec, Merlot and the white grape variety, Albarino. It has superb intensity on the nose with baked black cherries, singed leather, apricot blossom, eau-de-vie and liquorice. It is vivacious and floral, unfolding with each sip. The palate is medium-bodied with very fine tannins, vivacious almost port-like fruit intensity. It is initially a little pinched on the finish, but it expands gloriously with sage, bay leaf and a touch of bitter orange. Superb. 98,500 bottles produced. Drink now-2020+. (NM)" (08/2012)

2015 Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2015 Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (99JD, 96RP, 96WE, 94WS). Jeb Dunnuck: "The flagship is the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon, 100% Cabernet Sauvignon mostly from Champoux with the balance from Palengat and Wallula vineyards. Crème de cassis, graphite, black licorice, unsmoked tobacco, and hints of chocolate and emerge from this beauty and it continues to gain depth and nuance with time in the glass. Full-bodied, deep, and layered with an incredible purity and elegance on the palate, it's already accessible but has more than enough tannin, depth, and balance to evolve for two decades or more. I wasn’t able to taste the 2016s from Snohomish, WA based Quilceda Creek, but their 2015s are serious, sexy, opulent wines that check-in near the top of the vintage." (04/2018)

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2011 Jacquelynn (Chateau Boswell) 'Beckstoffer George III Vineyard' Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (90VN). Vinous: "The 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Georges III is rich, round and supple, almost surprisingly so for the year. Mocha, plum, smoke, licorice and new leather all flesh out in an inviting wine with plenty of near-term appeal. This is a strong effort in a very challenging vintage. (AG)" (11/2013)

2004 Beringer "Private Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2004 Beringer "Private Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95RP, 95VN, 93W&S, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "I’ll start with the best wine, which is the 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon Private Reserve, which is a blend of 6% Bancroft, 42% Steinhauer, 18% St. Helena Home Vineyard, 11% Marston, 3% Chabot, 3% Rancho del Oso, and 2% Lampyridae fruit. This spectacular 2004 has notes of barbecue smoke, roasted meats, black currants, licorice and a blackberry-like richness. Hints of coffee bean and white chocolate also make an appearance in this plump, full-bodied, voluptuously textured, dense ruby/purple-colored wine. This is a beauty. The 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon Private Reserve is approaching its late adolescence and should hold beautifully for at least another 10-15 years. (RP)" (04/2014)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A wine of great intensity and richness, it displays classic notes of licorice, barbecue smoke, creme de cassis, cedarwood and forest floor. Full-bodied with sensational purity, a multidimensional mouthfeel and a long, voluptuous finish with no hard edges, it has only reached mid-adolescence, and has at least two decades of life ahead of it. 2004 Merry Edwards Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (1.5L)
Bid on this 2-magnum lot of 2004 Merry Edwards Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (1.5L) (93WE, 91CG). Wine Enthusiast: "What a roll Merry Edwards is on. This is a basic, appellation series Pinot, but it’s as good or better as most other wineries’ single-vineyard bottlings, showing a dry, rich, acidic, earthy character in its youth. But there’s enough cherry cola fruit to drink now, if you decant. Chewy and complex, it should improve for five years and hold for another five." (03/2007)

Wonderfully complex floral and herbal scents easily move into deep, rich flavors of chocolate and cherries, sprinkled with a healthy dose of Douro minerality and spice. Drink or hold. 2004 St. Helena Winery "Sympa Block 1" Napa Valley Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 2004 St. Helena Winery "Sympa Block 1" Napa Valley Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. Founded in the year 2000, Saint Helena Winery was created to promote estate grown Cabernet Sauvignon. Winemakers Aaron Pott and Lindsey Wallingford guide the creation of three estate Cabernet Sauvignons, a Chardonnay and a few very small lots of estate specialties. Their "Sympa" Cabernet Sauvignon is a special wine grown on the south parcel, “Block 1,” an ancient river bed where the loam has more sand, gravel, and stones. This causes the vines to struggle and produce smaller clusters and berries. The Cabernet Sauvignon clones that comprise Sympa are See, 337 and 191. The See clone bud wood is from Napa Valley's famed Backus Vineyard.

1995 Margaux, Margaux
Bid on this bottle of 1995 Margaux, Margaux (97WS, 95RP, 95VN, 94ST). Wine Spectator: "This still broods seriously, with dark plum, currant and blackberry fruit, studded with charcoal, singed tobacco and cedar notes and backed by a serious grip of roasted earth. The gorgeously long finish is driven by old-school tannins, with the smoldering edge going on and on. A brick house of a Margaux, with more charcoal than graphite, more austerity than elegance and more power than refinement. (JM, Web Only-2014)"

2010 Justin "Isosceles Reserve" Paso Robles Bordeaux Blend
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2010 Justin "Isosceles Reserve" Paso Robles Bordeaux Blend (94RP, 94WE, 91WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The star of the show, the 2010 Isosceles Reserve (90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Malbec, 3% Cabernet Franc and 2% Merlot aged 21 months in 100% new French oak) is a deep, rich and muscular effort that still has some oak and tannin to integrate. Graphite, smoked dark fruits, exotic spice and sweet oak all emerge from this brilliant effort, and it hits the palate with a full-bodied, concentrated profile that carries layers of sweet tannin, solid mid-palate depth and a great finish. The tannin quality here is exceptional, and while it has no shortage of fruit, it retains a sense of elegance and balance. Give it 2-3 years in the cellar and drink it through 2025. (JD)" (10/2014)

2007 Dalla Valle Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Dalla Valle Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94VN, 93RP). Vinous: "Bright medium ruby. Knockout ineffable nose combines blackberry, blueberry, flowers, minerals, spicecake, iron and miso. Silky-sweet and highly concentrated, conveying an almost candied quality to its blueberry, blackberry and espresso flavors but energized by almost shockingly bright acidity. With its outstanding density and refined texture, this is clearly the product of a great site. This velvety, sappy wine utterly saturates the palate and tongue without leaving any impression of dryness. A superb wine with a long life ahead of it, but even today it's balanced and sexy. The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Missouri Hopper Vineyard has loads of chocolaty cassis fruit, underlying forest floor, loamy soil notes, medium to full body, light tannin, low acidity and a plush, well-textured, pure finish. 2014 Andremily "No. 3" Santa Barbara County Syrah
Bid on this bottle of 2014 Andremily "No. 3" Santa Barbara County Syrah (100JD, 96RP, 93VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "Unquestionably one of the wines of the vintage, Jim Binns’ 2014 Andremily No 3 is a blend of 89% Syrah, 8% Mourvèdre and 3% Viognier that comes from three great sites in Santa Barbara County: Larner Vineyard, White Hawk and Alta Mesa (Mourvèdre). Tasted twice, this totally profound beauty offers up heavenly notes of crème de cassis, crushed violets, smoked meats, graphite and ample minerality in a full-bodied, expansive, yet pure, elegant and lengthy style. It needs to be forgotten for 2-3 years, and will have 15 years or more of overall longevity. Andremily’s Jim Binns continues to fashion some of the most exciting wines coming out of California today. Jim left Sine Qua Non last year to focus full time on his own label, and is now making his wines in Ventura. The 2014 Andremily No 3 is unquestionably one of the great California Syrahs, and while I think the 2015 are a small step

So, most of the vines used by Mike and Kendall Officer were planted from 1888 to 1934. This wine has phenomenal intensity, with plenty of crushed rock, pineapple, honeysuckle, orange and tangerine blossom in an elegant, medium to full-bodied style, with terrific intensity, good acidity and freshness. Sixty-six percent came from the St. Helena Home Ranch, 18% from the Chabot Vineyard, and the rest from Beringer's estates in St. Helena, Rutherford and Coombsville. It is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon that came in at 14.6% natural alcohol with a pH of 3.8. Perhaps the greatest Beringer Private Reserve since the 2007, 2005, 2002 and 2001, the 2010 offers up notes of lead pencil shavings, creme de cassis, subtle smoke, wet rocks and background oak. 1990 Paul Jaboulet Aîné "La Chapelle" Hermitage
Bid on this bottle of 1990 Paul Jaboulet Aîné "La Chapelle" Hermitage (100RP, 98JS, 97WS, 96VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1990 Hermitage La Chapelle lived up to its reputation on this occasion, and of the three titans (1990, 1978 and 1961), it was probably my favorite. Still inky colored and ruby at the rim, it offers an absolutely profound bouquet of sweet cassis, smoked meats, chocolate, licorice and spice. This is followed by a full-bodied, insanely textured, pure and hedonistic palate that has that perfect mix of still-vibrant fruit and ample secondary nuances. I suspect the '61 was even richer at this stage, but the overall purity and freshness here are incredible. It will continue to evolve for decades, but I'd happily open bottles today. Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Kosta Browne Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir (94JD, 92JS, 92WS). Jeb Dunnuck: "While it’s easy to think of the appellation blends as being the entry-level cuvées, with the quality always being higher with the single vineyard release, don’t make that mistake. The appellation blends can often surpass single vineyard releases and, in my experience, can age just as gracefully. The 2016 Pinot Noir Sta. Rita Hills is a beautiful wine well worth your time and money. Offering classic cherry and framboise fruit, complex spice, forest floor, and rose garden nuances, medium body, and a seamless, savory personality, it’s going to keep for 8-9 years." (06/2018)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Sine Qua Non "Rätsel 16" California Syrah ((96-99JD), 96RP). Jeb Dunnuck: "A not yet bottled blend of 81% Syrah, 7% Mourvèdre, 5% Petite Sirah, and the rest Viognier and Grenache, fermented with 47% whole clusters, the 2016 Syrah Rätsel 16 is an inky colored beauty that has another level of depth and richness over the 2015. Black raspberries, cassis, white pepper, white chocolate, and hints of bacon fat give way to a full-bodied, seamless, elegant wine that has terrific freshness and purity, ultra-fine tannin, and a huge finish. Not too dissimilar from the 2014s, which have the same supple, sexy, and approachable style, it should drink reasonably well right out of the gate and cruise for 15-20 years in cool cellars." Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2008 Bond "St. Eden" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (96VN, 94RP, 93ST, 93WS, 92JS). Vinous: "The 2008 St. Eden is one of the better 2008s in the Bond range. Powerful and ample on the palate, the 2008 also shows more breadth than some of the other wines in the lineup. Black cherry, grilled herbs, tobacco, scorched earth and licorice all develop in the glass. Firm tannins suggest the 2008 will drink well for another decade plus. Although not especially refined, the 2008 does offer plenty of depth and virile intensity. (AG)" (11/2017)

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2013 Shafer "Hillside Select" Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 99JS, 98JD, 98RP, 98WE, 97VN) in original wood. James Suckling: "Wonderful floral aromas with perfumed roses plus hints of blackcurrants and spearmint. Full-bodied and so powerful and muscular but always showing the brightness and beauty of fruit. Winemakers say this reminds them of the 1978, their first year. It certainly has the structure — "those tannins" as they put it. Finish is so impressive with tar, iron and spices. " (01/2018)

Bid on this bottle of 2008 Joseph Phelps "Insignia" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (97VN, 95CG, 95JS, 94ST, 94WS, 93RP). Vinous: "The 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon Insignia is a towering, statuesque wine bursting with blackberry jam, tar, spices, leather and licorice. It shows fabulous depth and richness backed up by serious, imposing tannins that suggest it has a long life. Ideally, the 2008 should be purchased by those who can be patient; it is not a wine for those seeking immediate gratification. The blend is 89% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Petit Verdot and 4% Malbec. 2009 Opus One Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend
Bid on this bottle of 2009 Opus One Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (94VN, 93DC, 93JS, 93ST, 92WS). Vinous: "The 2009 Opus One is impeccable. It brings together the silkiness of the 2007 with the power and darkness of the 2008, a combination that is hugely appealing, to say the least. With a little air, the 2009 can be enjoyed young, but it is best cellared for at least a few years, which will allow some of the baby fat to drop off. The blend is 81% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Cabernet Franc, 6% Petit Verdot, 3% Merlot and 1% Malbec. (AG) 94+" (06/2013)

1990 Clinet, Pomerol
Bid on this bottle of 1990 Clinet, Pomerol (97RP, 92ST, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A sensational effort, and one of the two finest Clinets made before the 2008, this prodigious wine made by the late Jean-Michel Arcaute has always been a sprinter out of the gate. Even at age 19, it continues to strut its stuff. A dense blue/garnet/purple hue exhibits slight lightening at the edge, and the gorgeous nose offers up aromas of sweet blueberries, licorice, smoke, acacia flowers, and camphor. Full-bodied with silky tannins, low acidity, and terrific purity, this 1990 has hit its plateau of full maturity where it should remain for another decade. (RP)" (06/2009)

2000 Haut-Brion, Pessac-Léognan
Bid on this bottle of 2000 Haut-Brion, Pessac-Léognan (99RP, 98JD, 96ST, 96WE, 95JS, 94W&S, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Tasted from an ex-château bottle in Bordeaux, I was not surprised to find the 2000 Château Haut-Brion flirting with perfection. The nose is simply breathtaking - quintessential Haut-Brion with ebullient red berry fruit, roasted herbs, gravel, terracotta tiles on a warm summer's day...it is simply wave after wave of intoxicating scents that could bring even the most stoic person to tears of joy. The palate displays heavenly balance, pitch-perfect acidity, perhaps spicier than previous bottles that I have tasted, and what depth and dimension in this outstanding wine. That hint of graphite on the finish is a cheeky nod to Pauillac, as if to thumb its nose at the First Growths, because alongside Château Latour, almost by stealth, the Haut-Brion is one of the greatest Bordeaux in this millennial year. 2015 Williams Selyem "Weir Vineyard" Yorkville Highlands Pinot Noir
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2015 Williams Selyem "Weir Vineyard" Yorkville Highlands Pinot Noir (93WE). Wine Enthusiast: "Strong cinnamon and clove aromas lead to bold, ripe black-cherry and cassis flavors in this full-bodied, well-structured and ultimately nuanced wine. It has lots of grip on the palate from firm tannins and bright acidity, while the spicy oak flavors last all the way to the finish. *Cellar Selection* (JG)" (03/2018)

1997 Shafer "Hillside Select" Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L)
Bid on this magnum of 1997 Shafer "Hillside Select" Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (96DC, 96RP, 96WE, 93CG, 92VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1997 Shafer Cabernet Sauvignon Hillside Select is a relatively evolved style for Hillside Select and seemingly more advanced than the older vintages, such as 1995 and 1994. Nevertheless, there is plenty to excite. It’s a big wine, dense purple in color with some lightening at the edge, plenty of crème de cassis fruit, lead pencil shavings, sweet vanilla and earth. It is very ripe, full-bodied, opulent and voluptuously textured. This is terrific stuff, hedonistic, showing secondary/tertiary nuances in the aromatics and essentially a full resolution of the tannin. This wine also seems to have come into its own and is clearly at its peak of flavor. Drink it over the next 10-15 years. (RP)" (12/2014)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Aubert "CIX" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay ((98-100RP), 98JD, 95VN, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2016 Chardonnay CIX Estate is beguiling in its complexity and singularity, offering up scents of smoked nuts, waxed lemons, crushed rocks and coriander seed with hints of crusty bread, honeysuckle, baked peaches and clover honey. Full-bodied, full-on creamy and densely laden with layers of citrus and savory flavors, it has just enough freshness and wonderful length. (LPB)" (10/2017)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1985 Château de Beaucastel Châteauneuf-du-Pape (94JD, 93JG, 91RP, 91WS). Jeb Dunnuck: "Showing a youthful red color with some slight lightening at the edges, the 1985 Château de Beaucastel Châteauneuf-du-Pape has a beautiful Beaucastel funk nose with ripe raspberries, earth, leather, mushroom and sauvage notes. Perfumed, nuanced and complex, this held up wonderfully over the course of dinner and even gained intensity with air. The palate is medium bodied with a silky, almost seamless texture, nice balance and a medium length finish. Everything is perfectly integrated and this was drinking amazingly well. An awesome wine." 2003 Opus One Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (OWC)
Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2003 Opus One Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (OWC - 94RP, 93JS) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This blend of 91% Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Merlot and Malbec aged 17 months in French oak is a strong effort offering creme de cassis, cedarwood, white chocolate and spice box. It possesses a Bordeaux-like personality, as one might expect since Opus One is owned by Baroness Philippe de Rothschild and the winemaking team comes primarily from Pauillac. The significant tannin in the wine provides a slight austerity, but this is a full-bodied, rich effort that marks the beginning of a period when Opus One finally began to live up to the enormous potential first announced in the late 1970s by the late Baron Philippe de Rothschild and the late Robert Mondavi. Although accessible now, the 2003 will benefit from another 4-5 years of cellaring and should keep for two decades. (RP)" (06/2013)

Ornellaia shows its pedigree here. Better in 2019." (08/2047)

Wine Spectator: "This has lovely flavors of apricot, dried tangerine, pineapple and papaya rushing along, supported by hazelnut, frangipane and coconut notes. Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2000 Léoville-Poyferré, St-Julien (97JD, 97RP, 95WS, 93JS, 91W&S). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The plushest, most ostentatious and dramatic of all the Leovilles in 2000, this wine is already sumptuous, displaying some nuances in its huge nose of vanilla bean, black chocolate, jammy black cherries, cassis, and graphite in a flamboyant style. Opulent, savory, rich, and full-bodied, it is a head-turning, prodigious wine and a complete contrast to the extracted behemoth of Leoville Barton and the backward, classic Leoville Las Cases. The Poyferre’s low acidity, sweet tannin and an already gorgeous mouthfeel make it a wine to drink now as well as over the next 25 or more years. (RP)" (06/2010)

2010 Roger Sabon "Secret de Sabon" Châteauneuf-du-Pape
Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2010 Roger Sabon "Secret de Sabon" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (99RP, 97WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "If you can find any of the 150 or so cases made, the 2010 Chateauneuf du Pape Le Secret des Sabon represents the essence of Chateauneuf du Pape, perhaps the essence of wine. It boasts an inky/purple color as well as a fabulous, intricate nose of blue, black and red fruits, graphite, chocolate, charcoal, forest floor, spring flowers and a touch of garrigue. Unbelievably concentrated, to the point of being viscous and nearly over the top, the wine is sensationally rich and pure with a nearly endless finish. There is plenty of tannin, but it is largely obscured by the luxuriousness of the wine’s high glycerin and intense fruit. Forget this beauty for 3-5 years and drink it over the following three decades or more. This is a magnificent Chateauneuf du Pape although it is impossible to say it is better than some of the previous blockbusters made at Domaine Roger S

Of the 2013 Pride Mountain "Vintner Select Cuvée" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "A great wine, the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Vintner’s Select is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon aged for 20 months in 40% new French oak. This is a beauty, with classic notes of espresso bean, white chocolate, crème de cassis, licorice and graphite. Some subtle oak appears in the flavor profile, which is mostly dark black fruits. The wine cuts a broad swath across the palate, and is savory, pure and hedonistic. With each look, additional nuances seem to appear. Drink it over the next 15-20 years. (RP)" (10/2016)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Rhys "Home Vineyard" San Mateo County Pinot Noir (94VN, 93RP, 93ST, 92BH, 92JG). Vinous: "Orange rind, graphite, pine, mint and crushed rocks jump from the glass in the 2012 Pinot Noir Home Vineyard. One of the more vibrant, chiseled wines in the range, the Home will benefit from further time in bottle. The translucent, crystalline finish is a thing of beauty. In this vintage, the Home was done with 100% whole clusters. Quite remarkably, the Home Vineyard lies just 400 yards away from Family Farm, separated by the San Andreas Fault, yet the wines from these two sites are completely different. (AG)" (07/2014)

Bid on this 3L-bottle of 1982 Latour, Pauillac (3L) (100DC, 100RP, 100VN, 98JS, 98WS, 97ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Always somewhat atypical, the 1982 Latour has been the most opulent, flamboyant, and precocious of the northern Medocs, especially the St.-Juliens, Pauillacs, and St.-Estephes. It hasn't changed much over the last 10-15 years, revealing sweet tannins as well as extraordinarily decadent, even extravagant levels of fruit, glycerin, and body. It is an amazing wine, and on several occasions, I have actually picked it as a right bank Pomerol because of the lushness and succulence of the cedary, blackberry, black currant fruit. This vintage has always tasted great, even in its youth, and revealed a precociousness that one does not associate with this Chateau. However, the 1982 is still evolving at a glacial pace. The concentration remains remarkable, and the wine is a full-bodied, exuberant, rich, classic Pauillac in its aromatic and flavor profiles...This remarkable e
