Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Quilceda Creek "Galitzine Vineyard" Red Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 95VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The finest vintage ever for this cuvée, the utterly spellbinding 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Galitzine Vineyard is 100% Red Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon that was brought up in new barrels. Slightly deeper and richer than the Columbia Valley Cabernet, its deep ruby/purple color is followed by a smorgasbord of graphite, crushed violets, crushed rocks, cassis and dark chocolate. With incredible richness, ultra-fine tannin, no hard edges and a stacked mid-palate, give this crazy good red 2-3 years of cellaring and enjoy over the following two decades! Bravo to the team at Quilceda! (JD)" (06/2017)
Starting Bid: $290.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2014 Jean-Marc Pillot Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru "Les Baudines" ((91-94VN), (91-93BH), 93RP). Vinous: "Bright, pale yellow. Aromatic nose offers high-pitched scents of lavender, almond and cinnamon. Sappy and dense, conveying a pliant texture but also an impression of weightlessness to its concentrated flavors of spiced pear, almond cake and stone. These vines are planted on white marne soil "like in Champagne, " according to Pillot. Finishes with compelling spicy perfume. (ST)" (09/2015)
Starting Bid: $180.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Hammell Wine Alliance "True Believer" Rhône Blend (95JD). Jeb Dunnuck: "A small step back from the total mind-blowing 2013, the 220-case 2014 True Believer is still incredible stuff and checks in as a blend of 51% Grenache, 27% Syrah, 11% Mourvèdre, 8% Petite Sirah and the rest Viognier and Roussanne. This deep ruby/purple colored beauty offers tons of ripe blackberry, currants, smoked herbs, pepper and melted licorice-like aromatics. Deep, sumptuous and decadent on the palate, with low acidity, it stays light on its feet and graceful, and certainly delivers loads of pleasure. Drink this blockbuster style beauty anytime over the coming decade or more." (08/2017)
Starting Bid: $150.00

This incredible wine offers a full-bodied, seamless, perfectly balanced profile as well as heavenly notes of black and blue fruits, white chocolate, licorice. With a world class texture, fine, fine tannin, and a great finish, it’s a tour de force in Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon that’s as good as anything out there." (12/2017)

Bid on this magnum of 2014 Amici "Beckstoffer To Kalon" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (97JS). James Suckling: "This is really exotic with dark berries, peaches, star anise and nutmeg. Aromatic. Currants, too. Full body and firm and silky, very fine tannins. This is a very reserved and refined To Kolan. Find it. Drink or hold." (05/2017)
Starting Bid: $255.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Justin "Reserve" Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon (95WE). Wine Enthusiast: "Lush aromas of cinnamon, black and red cherry, vanilla and toasted brioche show on this unabashedly potent and downright delicious bottling by the region's pioneering winery. Soft tannins joyously present rounded red-fruit and vanilla-cake flavors, with rich accents of cherry compote and chocolate chip cookie that are cut by streaks of bitterness and tartness. It's a voluptuous, attention-grabbing wine. (MK)" (09/2017)
Starting Bid: $112.00

Bid on this bottle of 2014 Robert Mondavi "The Reserve - To Kalon Vineyard" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (95RP, 95WE, 94VN, 93DC, 93JS, 92W&S). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve To Kalon is a blend of 88% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Cabernet Franc and 4% Petit Verdot. Deep ruby/purple-colored, notes of sweet crème de cassis, blackberry, charcoal and toast are present in the subtle but intense aromatics. The wine is full-bodied and classically crafted, building incrementally on the palate and displaying full-bodied richness, sweet tannin, and a potential to age for 25-30+ years. This is a beauty. (RP)" (12/2016)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Montrose, St-Estèphe (97JS, 97VN, 97WE, 96DC, 95JD, 95WS). Vinous: "The 2014 Montrose is without question one of the standout wines of the vintage. Black cherry, plum, smoke, licorice and lavender are some of the many aromas and flavors that open up in the glass. But the 2014 is a much deeper wine than just a bunch of descriptors can conjure. In 2014, Montrose is a wine of exceptional finesse and polish. The late-ripening vintage allowed for perfect maturation of the tannins and resulted in a silky wine that exudes class and pedigree. The 2014 is not an obvious or bombastic Montrose, but rather a wine of sublime enchantment. Don't miss it! (AG)" (02/2017)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Domaine Thierry et Pascale Matrot Meursault 1er Cru "Charmes" (92BH, (90-92VN)). Vinous: "Strongly mineral nose shows a smoked-meat reduction. Sweet, ripe and fine-grained. Not yet complex but silky in texture and concentrated, with bright minerality carrying through to a firm, very fresh finish. A distinctly sensual Meursault but without any make-up from new barrels. (ST)" (09/2015)
Starting Bid: $105.00

Bid on this bottle of 2014 Realm "The Absurd" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (100JD, 100RP, 97JS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A blend of 83% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Franc and the rest Petit Verdot, is the 2014 The Absurd, basically a choice of their finest barrels, or as winemaker and owner Benoit Touquette says, 'The crème de la crème.' This is another perfect wine equaling their incredible 2013. Yet the 2014 is slightly more forward and showy, as many 2013s are just beginning to shut down. There are 250 cases of this majestic wine that has an opaque purple color, extraordinary nose of spring flowers, blueberry, blackberry, creosote, charcoal, toast and spice. The wine has unbelievable fruit on the attack, midpalate and finish, compelling purity, texture and a finish of close to a full minute. It is (as advertised by the winery) a 'showcase of the best of Napa Valley with the freedom of expression that results from no rules.' (RP)" (12/2016)
Starting Bid: $505.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2014 Saxum "Paderewski Vineyard" Paso Robles Red Blend (98JD, 95VN, 95WS, 94RP). Jeb Dunnuck: "Checking in as a final blend of 30% Mourvèdre, 22% Zinfandel, 13% Syrah, 13% Tempranillo and the balance Grenache and Petite Sirah, the 2014 Paderewski Vineyard is as voluptuous and decadent as it gets. Plum sauce, exotic spices, white pepper, candy corn and spring flowers, it hits the palate with a broad, expansive, sexy style, ripe tannin, no weight and a blockbuster finish. It’s so well balanced and seamless, it can come across as a touch easy, yet it has terrific complexity, good mid-palate density and a great, great finish. This is what great wine is all about." (08/2017)
Starting Bid: $270.00

Bid on this bottle of 2014 Sine Qua Non "Capo dei Putti" Sta. Rita Hills Syrah (99JD, 98VN, 96RP). Jeb Dunnuck: "Leading off the reds, the extended barrel-aged 2014 Syrah Capo Dei Putti boasts an insane bouquet of cedarwood, white chocolate, caramelized meats, candle way, and assorted red and black fruits. With full-bodied richness, ultra-fine tannins, and an incredible elegance, it changed every time I came back to the glass and is a multi-dimensional, riveting red wine from California. A blend of 90% Syrah and the balance Viognier, Petite Sirah, and Grenache, partially destemmed and aged 38 months in 94% new French oak, give this beauty 2-3 years of bottle age, count yourself lucky, and enjoy bottles over the following 10-15 years." (10/2018)
Starting Bid: $250.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Bevan "Ontogeny" Oakville Bordeaux Blend (94RP, 92VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2014 Ontogeny Red Wine is composed of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Petit Verdot and 10% Cabernet Franc. Deep garnet-purple in color, it has a wonderfully flamboyant nose of fruitcake, powdered cinnamon, incense and kirsch with hints of dried mint and dusty earth. The rich, full-bodied palate has plenty of freshness and offers pleasant chewiness on the long, spicy finish. (LPB)" (02/2021)
Starting Bid: $160.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2014 Spottswoode "Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98JD, 98RP, 98WE, 97DC, 96JS, 96VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon has a drop-dead gorgeous nose of Sichuan pepper, hoisin, peppered salami and fertile loam over a core of blackberry preserves and redcurrant jelly with touches of kirsch and pencil shavings. Medium to full-bodied and concentrated yet still maintaining that wonderful purity and elegance that is the signature of this estate, it has layer upon layer of earthy nuances and a very long finish. (LPB) 98+" (10/2018)

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2014 Mayacamas Mount Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon (97JS, 96JD, 96VN, 95WS). James Suckling: "Aromas of blackcurrant, mushroom, wet earth and bark follow through to a full body, chewy tannins and a stone, berry, chili and spice aftertaste. Muscular and chunky. Very serious. Almost no new oak. This shows the Mayacamas DNA. " (01/2018)
Starting Bid: $425.00

Bid on this bottle of 2014 Sine Qua Non "Testa dei Cherubini" Sta. Rita Hills Grenache (99JD, 98RP, 98VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "As with the extended aged Syrah release, the 2014 Grenache Testa Dei Cherubini (80% Grenache, 15.5% Syrah, and the rest Petite Sirah and Viognier) comes all from the estate Eleven Confessions Vineyard in the Sta. Rita Hills and spent just under 38 months in 25% new French oak, with the balance in neutral barrels (varying sizes). Layers of black raspberry, cassis, white chocolate, white flowers, and Asian spices flow to a full-bodied, supple, powerful Grenache that has silky, silky tannins, a seamless texture, no hard edges, and a finish that won’t quit. It’s already approachable, yet in my experience, this extended élevage results in a very stable wine, and I suspect this beauty will have another two decades of longevity." (10/2018)
Starting Bid: $240.00

Bid on this magnum of 2014 Cliff Lede "Beckstoffer To-Kalon Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (99RP, 93JS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "From obviously purchased grapes, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon looks like dark pen ink, has that inimitable and compelling aromatic expression that the To Kalon Vineyard seems to offer up – graphite, blueberry, blackberry, cassis, fruitcake and spice. With incredibly rich blue fruits, black fruits, a full body, opulent, voluptuously textured and sensational, the wine still tastes like a barrel sample, but even at that, I found it nearly impossible to spit out. This is a killer effort, a magnificent wine with a potential three-digit score with a few more years of bottle age. (RP)" (12/2016)
Starting Bid: $250.00

Bid on this bottle of 2014 Aubert "Ritchie Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay (97RP, 96VN, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The old vines certainly show well in the 2014 Chardonnay Ritchie, with an almost Alsatian-like petrol nose that is starting to come on. This wine that is full-bodied, with incredible ripeness, purity and overall equilibrium, offers up plenty of tropical fruit and citrus, white peach and pineapple. … Mark Aubert continues to set the bar incredibly high for the world-class quality of his Burgundian-styled, remarkable Chardonnays, which come from relatively cool sites spread from Rutherford in Napa Valley to the far reaches of the Sonoma Coast. (RP)" (10/2016)
Starting Bid: $100.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Maison Roche de Bellene 1er Cru Mersault "Charmes" ((90-93BH), 91RP, 90VN). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "Here there are no such issues as the elegant, layered and ripe nose is completely clean while offering up notes of hazelnut, citrus, pear and acacia blossom. Once again there is fine concentration and volume to the focused, delicious and sappy medium weight flavors that terminate in a powerful, serious and beautifully persistent finale. This is one of those 2014s that should both age well but drink reasonably well young too. Worth checking out. *Outstanding*" (06/2016)
Starting Bid: $170.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Blackbird "Paramour" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (95RP, 94CG, 93JD, 92VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Another terrific example of Blackbird is the 2014 Proprietary Red Paramour, a fabulous blend of 84% Cabernet Franc, 9% Cabernet Sauvignon and 7% Merlot. The Cabernet Franc comes from the Stagecoach Vineyard. Consultant Aaron Pott said he thinks they have a magical spot for it on that large eastern Napa Valley mountain site. This is terrific stuff from the super-intense fragrance of white flowers and forest floor to the blueberry, black raspberry and graphite notes. The wine hits the palate with dazzling fruit intensity, loads of glycerin, a round, juicy, succulent mouthfeel, a layered personality and a long, supple finish. Drink it now or over the next 15+ years. (RP)" (10/2016)
Starting Bid: $170.00

Of the 2014 Larkmead "LMV Salon" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "Even more prodigious is the 2014 LMV Salon. Composed of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Cabernet Franc from the sandy Bale Loam soils of the 110 acres Larkmead possesses, it is a bigger boy at 14.9% alcohol but shows lots of crushed rock and wet gravel minerality, a beautiful, cedary, blackcurrant nose with notes of forest floor, allspice and soy, with more blackberry on the palate as well as some savory herbs and spice. Hints of licorice also make an appearance in this broad, fleshy, juicy and succulent style of wine meant for drinking now and over the next 20 years. (RP)" (10/2016)

Bid on this bottle of 2014 Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (99RP, 96VN, 94WE, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Lighter and lifted, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon shows a sweet frame of fruit with elegant French oak and baking spice scents with vanilla, nutmeg and cardamom that sways with an impressive aromatic array of cedar and cigar box, resinous purple flowers, juicy plum and chocolate ganache in the glass. Full-bodied, the wine is balanced and seamless, offering precision and focus across the mid-palate with fine-grained tannins that continue to sway with excellence before delivering a long, drawn-out finish that's simply stunning. This will be able to age for more than a decade in the cellar. (AM)" (04/2021)
Starting Bid: $135.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2014 Louis M. Martini Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The bigger, richer 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Alexander Valley is 98% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Petite Sirah aged 16 months in 50% new French and American casks. This is a bigger wine and close to 2% higher in alcohol at 15.5%. There are 11, 000 cases of this big, full-bodied, boisterous Cabernet Sauvignon that has a dense ruby/purple color, notes of underbrush, forest floor, tobacco leaf and oodles of blackcurrants and black cherries, with a touch of woodsmoke. The full-bodied wine hits the palate with a cascade of glycerin, fruit and purity. This is a beauty-dense, rich, and structured, but capable of lasting 20 or more years. It is hard to believe that the iconic Louis M. Martini Winery first made Napa Cabernet Sauvignon in 1933. (RP)" (10/2016)
Starting Bid: $165.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2014 Domaine Fontaine-Gagnard Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru "Les Caillerets" (94JG, 94VN, 93RP, 92BH). Vinous: "High-pitched perfume of white peach, pear, crushed rock, ginger and lime blossom. Painfully intense and brisk, with terrific salty mineral cut enlivening the peach and pear fruit flavors. Sharply delineated and brisk but with the density of the vintage's better example. This highly concentrated, refined premier cru finishes with terrific rising length and palate-staining minerality. Has the grip to support a long evolution in the bottle, but even today this very youthful wine has no rough edges. (ST)" (09/2016)
Starting Bid: $197.26

Bid on this 4-bottle tasting lot in original wood; including 3-bottles of 2014 Next of Kyn (Sine Qua Non) "Cumulus Vineyard No. 8" Central Coast Red Blend (100JD, 98RP, 97VN) and 1-bottle of 2014 Next of Kyn (Sine Qua Non) "Cumulus Vineyard No. 8" Central Coast Red Blend (1.5L) (100JD, 98RP, 97VN). Of the 2014 Next of Kyn (Sine Qua Non) "Cumulus Vineyard No. 8" Central Coast Red Blend, Jeb Dunnuck writes: "I rated the 2014 No 8 Cumulus Vineyard 99 points last year but found this bottle to be literally as good as it gets. Made from 38% Syrah, 33% Grenache, 16% Touriga Nacional and the balance Mourvèdre and Petite Sirah, fermented with 43% whole clusters and aged in close to equal parts new and used French oak, it offers a heavenly bouquet of black raspberries, white chocolate, exotic spices, and graphite. " (10/2018)
Starting Bid: $1,120.00

Bid on this bottle of 2014 Schrader "T6 - Beckstoffer To Kalon" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, 95JS, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon T6 was one of my super-favorites of the 2014s. Slightly higher in alcohol at 14.7%, compared to the RBS at 14.4% and the GIII at 14.3%, it is a kick-ass Cabernet Sauvignon, with a sexy display of black fruits, licorice, camphor, graphite and background oak. This is from clone 6 of the To Kalon Vineyard aged in 95% new Darnajou and 5% Taransaud barrels. So, as readers can see, the differences are minor, indeed. However, they are slightly different wines. This is a bold, opulent wine and one of my favorites of the 2014s. (RP)" (10/2016)
Starting Bid: $205.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Kapcsándy "Grand Vin - State Lane Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (99JD, 99JS, 98VN, 96RP). James Suckling: "Extremely floral and complex on the nose with cedar, blackberries, blueberries, tobacco, stones, mushrooms... I'm simply running out of words here! Full to medium body and a tight and compact center palate. This is complete and dense. Extremely long and energetic. Drink in five years but a joy to taste. One of the best ever." (05/2017)
Starting Bid: $370.00

Bid on this magnum of 2014 Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (100RP, 96VN, 94WE, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon is another tour de force from this estate that's reminiscent of first growth Bordeaux from a vintage like 2009. Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon and aged in new barrels, it offers incredible notes of blackcurrants, graphite, lead pencil shavings and crushed rocks in a full-bodied, decadent, insanely layered and seamless style. This beauty possesses ultra-fine tannin, no hard edges and a forward, already hard to resist style, yet it's going to keep for more than two decades. (JD)" (06/2017)
Starting Bid: $295.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Domaine Jean Grivot Vosne-Romanée (90BH, 90RP, 90VN, 90WS). Vinous: "Livelier on the nose than the Charmois, with scents of black cherry, graphite and dark chocolate lifted by a floral quality. At once sweet and savory on the palate, with lovely acidity framing the red berry and cherry fruit flavors and extending the finish. Suaver and more pliant than the Charmois but the wine's more serious tannins and an element of peppery lift on the back end call for at least a couple years of patience. (ST)" (03/2017)
Starting Bid: $126.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2014 Vice Versa "Beckstoffer Las Piedras Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 95JS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Las Piedras Vineyard shows great minerality, wonderful black raspberry and blackcurrant fruit, a sumptuous full-bodied mouthfeel, light tannin, low acidity and a fleshy, long finish. This wine spent 20 months in 100% new French oak, but you would never know it from smelling and tasting this wine. Drink now-2038. (RP)" (10/2016)
Starting Bid: $375.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Sine Qua Non "Shakti" California Grenache (100RP, 97JD, 96VN). It was produced using 42% whole cluster and aged for around 21 months in French oak, 6% new (bottled June 21, 2017). It offers up a deep garnet-purple color and notes of dried Mediterranean herbs, dusty earth, Chinese five spice and rose petals over a core of red currants, mulberries, red plums and black raspberries, plus a waft of chocolate covered cherries. (LPB)" (09/2017)
Starting Bid: $480.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Maybach "Materium" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (100JD, 100RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The flagship, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Materium, represents 560 cases and achieved 14.8% alcohol after aging in 90% new Taransaud and Darnajou casks. Remarkably, the wine matches the perfect 2013, with extraordinary fragrance of blueberry, blackberry, forest floor, truffle, spring flowers and background barbecue smoke followed by a thick, unctuously textured, juicy, but incredibly well-balanced, intense wine. This is built like a skyscraper with enormous quantities of blueberry, blackberry and cassis fruit, well-integrated acidity and sweet, gentle tannins. This is an extraordinary effort from Maybach that can be drunk now or cellared for up to 30 or more years. (RP)" (10/2016)
Starting Bid: $670.00

Bid on this magnum of 2014 Saxum "Paderewski Vineyard" Paso Robles Red Blend (1.5L) (98JD, 95VN, 95WS, 94RP). Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2014 Paderewski Vineyard is as voluptuous and decadent as it gets. This is what great wine is all about." (08/2017)
Starting Bid: $145.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Philip Togni "Estate" Spring Mountain District Cabernet Sauvignon (98DC, 97VN, 95JD, 94RP, 94WS). Decanter: "The Togni family's 2014 reveals a beautifully complex bouquet of plum, black cherry, clove, sweet tobacco, cocoa nib and hints of mountain laurel. On the palate the tannins are very silky and refined, especially by the standards of this site, framing a wine with great concentration, depth and acid line. A supremely graceful Cabernet and a worthy successor to the profound 2013." (05/2017)
Starting Bid: $200.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Domaine Latour-Giraud Meursault 1er Cru "Charmes" (94BH, 92VN). Allen Meadows - Burghound: " There is just enough post-bottling reduction present to warrant decanting this if you're tempted to try a bottle of this beauty young. Otherwise there is almost painful intensity to the succulent and dense medium-bodied flavors that exude a subtle minerality onto the sappy, chiseled and hugely long finale. This impeccably balanced effort is also clearly built-to-age and like the Poruzots is going to need it. In short, this is a great Charmes and worthy of your interest. *Don't miss! Outstanding*" (06/2016)
Starting Bid: $120.00

Bid on this bottle of 2014 Vangone "Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95RP, 93JD). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The inaugural vintage 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon comes from 412 clone from two different blocks: B Block and D Block. It was aged for 30 months in 100% new French oak. Deep garnet-purple in color, it has a blackcurrant cordial, blackberry pie and mocha-scented nose with hints of baking spices, underbrush and crushed rocks. The medium to full-bodied palate is beautifully textured by approachable, ripe, fine-grained tannins, with plenty of freshness and persistent earthy layers. (LPB) 95+" (10/2017)
Starting Bid: $130.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Alban "Seymour's Vineyard" Edna Valley Syrah (98JD). Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2014 Seymour's comes from a higher elevation site that’s hammered by the winds off the Pacific Ocean. Classic Seymour’s all the way with its huge nose of black fruits, tobacco, ground pepper, crushed rocks, and ample meatiness, this beauty hits the palate with full-bodied richness, a deep, layered mid-palate, building tannins, and a great finish. While the Seymour’s is always the most backward and austere of the three single-vineyard Syrahs, the forward nature of the 2014 vintage shows in the wine’s texture and slightly more charming, forward character. Nevertheless, this brilliant Syrah will cruise for 20+ years in cold cellars." (11/2018)
Starting Bid: $320.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Cayuse "God Only Knows - Armada Vineyard" Walla Walla Valley Grenache (97RP, 94WS, 93VN, 93WE, 92DC). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "There are 533 cases of the 2014 Grenache God Only Knows Armada Vineyard, and as always, it's an unknown blend that's dominated by Grenache (reportedly from vine cuttings from Rayas). It's fermented with just about 100% whole clusters in concrete and aged mostly in neutral puncheons and foudre, with one concrete egg. A bigger, richer wine than the No Girls cuvée, this beauty packs a punch in its black cherry, reduced strawberry, herbes de Provence and crushed violet aromas and flavors. (JD)" (06/2017)
Starting Bid: $170.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2014 Scarecrow Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 100JD, 100RP, 96VN, 95WS) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The utterly perfect 2014 Scarecrow Cabernet Sauvignon (1, 500 cases) has everything one could possibly want in a Cabernet. Inky purple-colored to the rim, with a glorious nose of white flowers, crème de cassis, hints of blackberry and boysenberry, some licorice and forest floor are followed by an enormously concentrated wine with fabulous purity, a skyscraper-like mid-palate and texture, a length of nearly a minute, and stunning flavors, with flawless integration of acidity, tannin, wood and alcohol. This is a great, great wine and certainly one of the Cabernet Sauvignons of this vintage. (RP)" (12/2016)
Starting Bid: $1,830.00

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2014 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Chardonnay (95RP, 94VN, 94WS, 93JD, 92JG). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "One of the finest recent renditions of this great cuvée, the 2014 Chardonnay Monte Bello is a beautiful wine that opens in the glass with notes of white peach, citrus oil, green figs and white flowers, complemented by hints of nutmeg and spice from its time in barrel on the lees. On the palate, it's full-bodied, satiny and textural, with a deep core, bright acids and a long, chalky finish. The 2014 stands out for its purity and elegance. It attained 14.2% natural alcohol and spent 19 months in barrels, only 8% of which were new. (WK)" (05/2018)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Bevan "Ritchie Vineyard" Russian River Valley Chardonnay (95RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "His 2014 Chardonnay Ritchie Vineyard is 100% from this famous vineyard source for Chardonnay, planted with the old Wente clone. There are 250 cases of this wine, which is aged in three-fourths François Frères cooperage and the remainder in Remond. Light golden with a greenish hue, the wine reveals honeyed apricot, white peach, wet pebbles and floral notes. It is rich, full-bodied, loaded with minerality and extremely pure, with the oak well-concealed. (RP)" (03/2016)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2014 Aubert "Sugar Shack" Napa Valley Chardonnay (97RP, 95JS, 95VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Another stunner is the 2014 Chardonnay Sugar Shack. This wine, which was harvested August 18, 2014, was one of the earliest picks Mark Aubert had ever done. The wine offers up great fruit, which includes notes of pineapple, green apple, honeysuckle and peach marmalade. It is full-bodied with exceptional purity, lingering across the palate. Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Saxum "James Berry Vineyard" Paso Robles Willow Creek District Rhône Blend (98RP, 97WS, 96VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The sensationally pure and seamless 2014 James Berry Vineyard Proprietary Red (42% Grenache, 24% Mourvèdre, 21% Syrah, 8% Counoise and 5% Roussanne) was brought up in a mix of barrels and foudre, followed by six months in concrete tanks. The wine offers incredibly rich and layered notes of black raspberries, creme de cassis, crushed flowers, melted licorice and peppery herbs in its full-bodied, impeccably balanced profile. Showing the more upfront, hedonistic style of the vintage, this full-bodied beauty still has ample underlying tannin, beautiful mid-palate depth and a killer finish that keeps you coming back for more. (JD)" (09/2016)
Starting Bid: $220.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2014 Picque Caillou Rouge, Pessac-Leognan (93WE, 90JD, 90RP). Wine Enthusiast: "The estate is within the urban area of Bordeaux, an oasis of green in the busy city. It is a smooth, rich wine that has benefited from the consultancy work of the late Denis Dubourdieu. Ripe tannins and fine acidity support the black currant and plum fruits. The wine is developing well. (RV)" (02/2017)

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2014 Joseph Phelps "Larry Hyde & Sons Vineyard" Napa Valley Syrah (95RP, 92VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A big surprise for me was the incredible quality of the Syrah Phelps produced in 2014 and 2015 from the Larry Hyde & Sons Vineyard. The 2014 Syrah Larry Hyde & Sons, which was co-fermented with 6% Viognier and aged 18 months in 30% new French puncheons and barrels, is a wonderful Côte Rôtie-like wine. Possibly the best Syrah the Phelps winery has ever produced (and they have been making wine longer than many), there are 1, 600 cases of this sexy, endearing, dark purple wine, which has an incredibly intense bouquet of spring flowers, marmalade, honeysuckle, and blackcurrant and black raspberry fruit. This stunning wine, which is medium to full-bodied with silky tannins, would easily pass as a dead ringer for a Côte Rôtie in a blind tasting. (RP)" (10/2016)
