Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Hammell Wine Alliance "True Believer" Rhône Blend (95JD). Jeb Dunnuck: "A small step back from the total mind-blowing 2013, the 220-case 2014 True Believer is still incredible stuff and checks in as a blend of 51% Grenache, 27% Syrah, 11% Mourvèdre, 8% Petite Sirah and the rest Viognier and Roussanne. This deep ruby/purple colored beauty offers tons of ripe blackberry, currants, smoked herbs, pepper and melted licorice-like aromatics. Deep, sumptuous and decadent on the palate, with low acidity, it stays light on its feet and graceful, and certainly delivers loads of pleasure. Drink this blockbuster style beauty anytime over the coming decade or more." (08/2017)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2014 Saxum "Paderewski Vineyard" Paso Robles Red Blend (98JD, 95VN, 95WS, 94RP). Jeb Dunnuck: "Checking in as a final blend of 30% Mourvèdre, 22% Zinfandel, 13% Syrah, 13% Tempranillo and the balance Grenache and Petite Sirah, the 2014 Paderewski Vineyard is as voluptuous and decadent as it gets. Plum sauce, exotic spices, white pepper, candy corn and spring flowers, it hits the palate with a broad, expansive, sexy style, ripe tannin, no weight and a blockbuster finish. It’s so well balanced and seamless, it can come across as a touch easy, yet it has terrific complexity, good mid-palate density and a great, great finish. This is what great wine is all about." Of the 2014 Next of Kyn (Sine Qua Non) "Cumulus Vineyard No. 8" Central Coast Red Blend, Jeb Dunnuck writes: "I rated the 2014 No 8 Cumulus Vineyard 99 points last year but found this bottle to be literally as good as it gets. Made from 38% Syrah, 33% Grenache, 16% Touriga Nacional and the balance Mourvèdre and Petite Sirah, fermented with 43% whole clusters and aged in close to equal parts new and used French oak, it offers a heavenly bouquet of black raspberries, white chocolate, exotic spices, and graphite.
