2014 Samsara "Cargasacchi Vineyard" Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir (Previously $60+) (Previously $60+)
Top Pick!
94 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Pale ruby-purple colored, the 2014 Pinot Noir Cargasacchi Vineyard offers up fragrant lavender, Provence herbs and damp earth scents over a core of Bing cherries and wild strawberries with hints of tree sap and cinnamon stick. The medium-bodied palate gives a solid frame of grainy/chewy tannins and lively acid, backing up the intense red berry and earthy layers nicely, finishing with great persistence. (LPB) 94+" (09/2017)

2014 Samsara "Melville Vineyard" Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir (Previously $60+) (Previously $60+)
Top Pick!
94 points Vinous: "The 2014 Pinot Noir Melville Vineyard is the most polished and silky of this range of Pinots. Bright, red-toned fruit, orange zest, mint and rose petal lead into the seamless, silky finish. The Melville is a wine of exceptional beauty and finesse. Moreover, the balance of fruit, acid and tannin is impeccable. (AG)" (09/2017) 93 points Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2014 Pinot Noir Melville is a blend of Clone 667 and Pommard. It’s a big, sweetly fruited beauty readers are going to love. Framboise, red currants, salty minerality and hints of dusty...

2014 Byron "Rita's Crown Vineyard" Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir (Previously $65) (Previously $65)
Top Pick!
93 points Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2014 Pinot Noir Rita's Crown is my favorite in the lineup and has a similar toasty, vanilla hint (which is present in most of these latest releases), with terrific framboise, strawberry and spice nuances developing with time in the glass. Medium-bodied, impressively concentrated and elegant, with a great finish, give bottles a year or two and drink through 2026. This is a terrific site located in the Sta. Rita Hills AVA, the this 2014 saw one-third whole clusters and 15 months in 46% new French oak." (08/2017) 90 points Wine...

94 points Jeb Dunnuck: "One of my favorites in the lineup, the 2014 Pinot Noir Las Hermanas (clones 115 and 777) offers lots of red currants, blueberries, leather and violet aromas and flavors, medium-bodied richness, a plump, rounded textured, and more fruit characteristics than most in the lineup." (08/2017) 93 points Vinous: "One of the most distinctive wines in the range, the 2014 Pinot Noir Las Hermanas Vineyard is captivating. Fresh, nuanced and super-expressive, it hits all the right notes. Intense, perfumed aromatics, bright fruit and fine, chi...

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Hammell Wine Alliance "True Believer" Rhône Blend (95JD). Jeb Dunnuck: "A small step back from the total mind-blowing 2013, the 220-case 2014 True Believer is still incredible stuff and checks in as a blend of 51% Grenache, 27% Syrah, 11% Mourvèdre, 8% Petite Sirah and the rest Viognier and Roussanne. This deep ruby/purple colored beauty offers tons of ripe blackberry, currants, smoked herbs, pepper and melted licorice-like aromatics. Deep, sumptuous and decadent on the palate, with low acidity, it stays light on its feet and graceful, and certainly delivers loads of pleasure. Drink this blockbuster style beauty anytime over the coming decade or more." (08/2017)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this bottle of 2014 Sine Qua Non "Capo dei Putti" Sta. Rita Hills Syrah (99JD, 98VN, 96RP). Jeb Dunnuck: "Leading off the reds, the extended barrel-aged 2014 Syrah Capo Dei Putti boasts an insane bouquet of cedarwood, white chocolate, caramelized meats, candle way, and assorted red and black fruits. With full-bodied richness, ultra-fine tannins, and an incredible elegance, it changed every time I came back to the glass and is a multi-dimensional, riveting red wine from California. A blend of 90% Syrah and the balance Viognier, Petite Sirah, and Grenache, partially destemmed and aged 38 months in 94% new French oak, give this beauty 2-3 years of bottle age, count yourself lucky, and enjoy bottles over the following 10-15 years." (10/2018)
Starting Bid: $250.00

Bid on this bottle of 2014 Sine Qua Non "Testa dei Cherubini" Sta. Rita Hills Grenache (99JD, 98RP, 98VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "As with the extended aged Syrah release, the 2014 Grenache Testa Dei Cherubini (80% Grenache, 15.5% Syrah, and the rest Petite Sirah and Viognier) comes all from the estate Eleven Confessions Vineyard in the Sta. Rita Hills and spent just under 38 months in 25% new French oak, with the balance in neutral barrels (varying sizes). Layers of black raspberry, cassis, white chocolate, white flowers, and Asian spices flow to a full-bodied, supple, powerful Grenache that has silky, silky tannins, a seamless texture, no hard edges, and a finish that won’t quit. It’s already approachable, yet in my experience, this extended élevage results in a very stable wine, and I suspect this beauty will have another two decades of longevity." (10/2018)
