Bid on this 3-bottle tasting lot; including 2-bottles of 2004 Glaetzer "Bishop" Shiraz ((91-94RP)) and 1-bottle of 2004 Glaetzer Shiraz Barossa Valley South Australia (96JH, (94-96RP), 93ST). Of the 2004 Glaetzer Shiraz Barossa Valley South Australia, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "The finest of this trio is the flagship cuvee, the 2004 Shiraz produced from 80- to 150-year-old dry farmed vineyards in the northern Ebenezer sector of the Barossa. Aged 16 months in French oak and American hogsheads, this larger-than-life, fascinating wine (cropped at .25 to 1 ton of fruit per acre) offers big, sweet, blackberry and cassis characteristics intermixed with notions of smoke, licorice, and pain grille. A wine of amazing extract, richness, and full-bodied power, with great purity as well as balance, this stunning offering should age effortlessly for 15 or more years. Filled with personality, it is a tour de force in Barossa Shiraz." (10/2005)
Starting Bid: $75.00

Bid on this bottle of 2009 Torbreck "Run Rig" Shiraz Barossa Valley (99RP, 96ST, 95JH, 95WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2009 RunRig opens with wonderful perfume, and though this label usually contains a splash of Viognier, which could account for the fragrant nose, it has none this vintage. Redolent of violets and blueberries it is very spicy with an undercurrent of anise and Indian spices muddled with mulberries. Taut and elegant on the palate, it gives plenty of concentrated fruit flavor with crisp acid and firm, fine tannins. It finishes long. (LPB)" (02/2013)
Starting Bid: $150.00
