Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2009 Canon-La-Gaffelière, St-Emilion (96JS, 96WS, 95RP, 95WE, 93VN, 92DC, 92ST). James Suckling: "The freshness on the nose is striking and you could easily mistake this for a 4-5 year old wine. Ripe elderberry and wild blackberry notes are married to elegant tannins and a lively acidity, making this leap and bound across the palate. Long mineral finish." (02/2019)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1999 Arietta Napa Valley Merlot (92RP, 92ST, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1999 Merlot (which includes 10% Syrah) exhibits a Pomerol-like character. It represents a synthesis in style between the elegance and complexity of a French wine, and the power and ripe fruit of a top-flight California offering. An opaque purple color is followed by aromas of cola, chocolate, and macerated jammy black cherries. This super-concentrated, high strung, packed effort appears to be as tight as a coiled spring. There is great fruit on the attack as well as an imposing structure, but it feels like that is all being held in check at present. Despite the big, intense flavors, the wine is elegant and light on its feet. Anticipated maturity: 2005-2020. (RP)" (08/2002)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 1996 Clarendon Hills Clarendon Merlot (92RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Medium garnet-brick in color, the 1996 Merlot exudes notes of Chinese dried plums, truffles, earth and spice box accented by hints of game and tobacco. On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied with rich, spicy and savory flavors framed with balanced acid, medium to firm, grainy tannins and a long finish. Mature for drinking now. (LPB)" (02/2014)
Starting Bid: $180.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2016 Monbousquet, St-Emilion (96JS, 95JD, 94WS, 93RP, 91VN). James Suckling: "A soft and very silky Monbousquet with wonderfully caressing texture. Full body. Delicious crushed cherries and berries. Beautiful length, too. Hard not to drink now. Better after 2024." (01/2019)
Starting Bid: $110.00

Bid on this bottle of 2010 Kapcsándy "Roberta's Reserve - State Lane Vineyard" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (97RP, 95VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Much more luxurious, voluptuous and in-your-face is the 2010 Roberta’s Reserve, which is a typical blend of 95% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc with 14.5% alcohol. It boasts a saturated ruby/purple color along with lots of Asian plum sauce, white chocolate, kirsch and a subtle smoky note. With superb richness and a full-bodied mouthfeel, despite its tannic framework it can be drunk in several years or cellared for several decades. (RP)" (10/2013)
Starting Bid: $165.00

Bid on this bottle of 1957 Cheval Blanc, St-Émilion (British Transport Hotel Services bottling). This negociant-bottled Cheval Blanc comes from 25 plots that are kept separate until the assemblage. The vines have remained in essentially the same configuration since 1871. With three unique soil types—fine textured with clay, more coarsely textured with gravel, and large gravel with sand—each vine has its own personality. The utmost care is taken in the vineyard and it is no wonder Cheval Blanc is one of the greatest, renowned wines in the world.
Starting Bid: $490.00

Bid on this magnum of 2016 Canon-la-Gaffelière, St-Emilion (1.5L) (96JS, 96VN, 95JD, (93-95RP), 95WE, 95WS, 94ST, 93DC). Vinous: "The 2016 Canon La Gaffelière is just as striking from bottle as it was from barrel. Bright, intensely aromatic and precise, the 2016 has it all. Sweet red cherry, pomegranate, blood orange and rose petal all race through this silky, super-expressive Saint-Émilion. In 2016, Canon La Gaffelière is especially polished, refined and nuanced, which means also less overly powerful than in the past. It was compelling both times I tasted it from bottle. (AG)" (01/2019)

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2004 Paloma Napa Valley Merlot (93WS, 92RP, 92WE). Wine Spectator: "A supple, graceful style. Complex aromatics of red currant, plum and black cherry carry over to the palate, offering depth, richness and layers of flavor that unfold gradually. Tightly wound now, with firm but ripe tannins. Keeps revealing subtle flavor nuances, with hints of mineral, sage and dusty berry. *Highly Recommended* (JL)" (11/2006)
Starting Bid: $225.00

Bid on this 2-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2014 La Jota Howell Mountain Merlot (93RP) and 1-bottle of 2015 La Jota Howell Mountain Cabernet Franc (96RP, 92VN). Of the 2015 La Jota Howell Mountain Cabernet Franc, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "Made from 100% Cabernet Franc, the 2015 Cabernet Franc Howell Mountain has a very deep purple-black color, revealing a drop dead gorgeous perfume of red roses, violets and black tea over a core of kirsch, red currants and black raspberries, with wafts of cinnamon stick and dried herbs. Medium-bodied, very finely textured and refreshing in the mouth, it offers wonderful perfumed red fruit layers and a long, mineral-laced finish. 522 cases produced. (LPB)" (12/2017)
Starting Bid: $115.00

Bid on this bottle of 1998 Angélus, St-Emilion (96JD, 96RP, 93WS, 92VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Another great showing for a Right Bank wine, the 1998 Angelus shows a saturated opaque, plum/purple color and a beautiful fragrance of blueberry and black raspberries with licorice, asphalt, truffle and a touch of white chocolate. Beautiful texture, full-bodied opulence, striking purity and overall equilibrium make for a stunning wine that is just entering its plateau of full maturity. Drink it over the next 20 years. (RP) " (08/2016)
Starting Bid: $335.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2009 Clinet, Pomerol (100RP, 96DC, 96JS, 95VN, 94WS, 93ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Clinet has been on a hot streak lately and the 2009 appears to be the greatest wine ever made at the estate, surpassing even the late Jean-Michel Arcaute's monumental 1989. A blend of 85% Merlot and tiny amounts of Cabernet Franc (12%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (3%), this big Pomerol boasts an opaque, moonless night inky/blue/purple color in addition to a gorgeous perfume of blueberry pie, incense, truffles, black raspberries, licorice and wood smoke. Viscous and multi-dimensional with silky, sweet tannin, massive fruit concentration and full-bodied power, there are nearly 4, 000 cases of this thick, juicy, perfect Clinet. (RP)" (02/2012)

Bid on this bottle of 1975 Latour à Pomerol, Pomerol (93JG). John Gilman: "1975 is one of my favorite Pomerol vintages and the Latour à Pomerol is really just starting to drink well from magnum. The bouquet jumps from the glass in an old school blend of black plums, black cherries roasted gamebird, a touch of menthol, cigar ash, black truffles, gravelly soil tones, saddle leather and a topnote of smokiness. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and rock solid at the core, with still a touch of backend tannin perking up the finish, lovely focus and grip and a long, broad-shouldered and complex finish. An excellent wine that should continue to improve as it evolves with further bottle age. (Drink between 2015-2040) 93+" (10/2016)
Starting Bid: $250.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2015 Canon-la-Gaffelière, St-Émilion (97RP, 97VN, 96JS, 96WS, 95JD, 94DC, 94WE). Vinous: "The 2015 Canon La Gaffelière is deep, powerful and explosive. Seamless and captivating in the glass, it possesses magnificent richness, volume and intensity in every dimension. The Cabernet Franc, usually such a strong signature, is nearly buried by the sheer intensity of the Merlot fruit. Espresso, mocha, licorice and plum infuse the racy finish. The 2015 is going to need the better part of a decade to be expressive. (AG)" (02/2018)
