Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Sean Thackrey "Orion" Napa Valley Red Blend. Sourced form the Rossi Vineyard in St. Helena, Orion is a field blend of Rhone varietals planted in 1905. From the distributor: "Since 1980, Sean has been producing wines that are extraordinary not only for great quality and complexity, but also because Sean utilizes unique wine-making techniques, often drawing from historic, sometimes ancient, wine-making practices from all over the world. The results are consistent, as evidenced by Sean’s continued support and enthusiasm from his peers and devoted customers. Sean sources grapes from many locations throughout California, and makes all his wines by hand 'touching every grape' at his small Bolinas winery. Self-taught, and fully reliant on his intuition and senses, Sean is the antithesis of corporate wine-making. The proof is in the bottle."

Bid on this 4-half-bottle lot of 2013 Mt. Brave Mt. Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon (375ml) (95WE, 93RP, 93VN). Wine Enthusiast: The mountain appellation speaks loudly in this wine, contributing juicy blackberry, tar and leather, all within a forested context of wild truffle and crunchy leaves. Concentrated and robust in body and ripeness, it unwinds slowly in the glass, imparting jolts of black pepper as it goes. *Top 100 Wines of 2017* (VB) (02/2017)
Starting Bid: $140.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Captûre "Revelation" Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon (91VN). Vinous: "The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Revelation has turned out well, but at the same time, the jump in quality here over the two vintages is marked. Black fruit, mocha, plum, smoke and licorice, along with big, grippy tannins, are among the signatures. (AG)" (03/2017)
Starting Bid: $105.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Ciacci Piccolomini d'Aragona "Pianrosso" Brunello di Montalcino (98WE, 95RP, 94DC, 94JS, 93VN). Wine Enthusiast: "Wild-berry, fragrant purple-flower and crushed aromatic herb aromas mingle with whiffs of tilled earth and new leather on this dazzling red. The stunning, savory palate boasts remarkable finesse combined with an age-worthy structure, offering succulent black cherry, raspberry compote, licorice and tobacco alongside taut, refined tannins. It's impeccably balanced, with bright acidity. It's already tempting, but hold for even more complexity. (KO)" (06/2019)
Starting Bid: $130.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Domaine Thierry et Pascale Matrot Blagny Rouge 1er Cru "La Pièce Sous Le Bois". Allen Meadows - Burghound: "A subtle application of wood serves as an unobtrusive backdrop for the mix of upper and lower register aromas of both red and dark cherry, raspberry, earth and soft floral nuances. There is solid volume and plenty of punch to the lightly mineral-inflected medium-bodied flavors that possess a clean, cool and restrained mouth feel, all wrapped in a saline, balanced and lingering finish. Starting Bid: $120.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Poggio San Polo Brunello di Montalcino (96JS, 96WE, 93RP, 92VN, 92W&S, 92WS). Wine Enthusiast: "Woodland berry, forest floor, exotic spice and tobacco aromas escape the glass. It's bright and loaded with finesse, delivering crushed red cherry, juicy cranberry, cinnamon and clove framed in taut fine-grained tannins. Vibrant acidity lends exquisite balance while a star anise note closes the lingering finish. I love the classic vibe on this—it's the best offering I've had to date from this dynamic estate. Drink 2021–2038. *Cellar Selection* (KO)" (05/2018)

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2013 Panther Creek "Kalita Vineyard" Yamhill Carlton Pinot Noir.
Starting Bid: $180.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Kosta Browne "Giusti Ranch" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir (95RP, 94VN, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "From the Russian River Valley and the newest single vineyard from this team (the first vintage was 2012), the 2013 Pinot Noir Giusti Vineyard is another big, rich, full-flavored Pinot Noir that gives up slightly lifted notes of dark fruits, graphite and peppery spice. Almost completely destemmed and aged 16 months in 40% new French oak, it’s a sensational Pinot Noir with terrific purity in its concentrated, layered and textured personality. It's superb today, but will cruise through at least 2023. (JD)" (10/2015)

Bid on this magnum of 2013 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (100DC, 100JS, 100RP, 98VN, 95WS, 94W&S). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Monte Bello is a very special vintage for this great wine. Amazingly, it has yet to shut down, unfurling in the glass to reveal a bouquet of black raspberries, cassis, rich espresso roast, cigar wrapper, subtle black truffle and burning embers that has already integrated its 100% new oak remarkably completely. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, powerful and multidimensional, with a lavishly textural attack that segues into a stunningly layered, richly structured mid-palate endowed with incredible depth and concentration underpinned by succulent acids. The finish is long, vibrant and beautifully delineated. The 2013 is a blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Petit Verdot, 7% Cabernet Franc and 5% Merlot, and it attained 13.6% natural alcohol. Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Ventolaio Brunello di Montalcino (92JS, 90WE). James Suckling: "With every swirl of the glass, this 2013 Brunello shows another side of its multifaceted personality. Sure, it's not the most concentrated wine of the vintage, but this has a delightful elegance and drinks very well now. " (01/2018)
Starting Bid: $110.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Pride Mountain "Reserve" Sonoma-Napa Counties Claret (98RP, 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Close to perfection is the 2013 Reserve Claret, a blend of 62% Merlot, 37% Cabernet Sauvignon and 1% Petit Verdot, aged 22 months in 20% new French oak. There are 450 cases of this big boy (14.8% alcohol). This is a 30-year wine and a spectacular effort, with 14% coming from the Napa side of the property and 86% from the Sonoma County side. Dense opaque purple, with a glorious nose of chocolate, and espresso intermixed with mulberry fruit, blueberry and blackberry, it is fleshy, succulent, full-bodied, opulent and impressively structured. Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Luigi Pira "Serralunga" Barolo (95WS, 91VN). Wine Spectator: "This smooth red hangs together beautifully, framing flavors of cherry, raspberry, wild herbs, mineral and tobacco. There's plenty of structure, yet this is all about balance and texture, ending with layers of fruit, underbrush and mineral. Best from 2022 through 2040. *Highly Recommended* (BS)" (02/2018)
