Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2012 Il Poggione Brunello di Montalcino (95RP, 93JS, 93VN, 93W&S, 93WE, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Il Poggione is a Brunello superstar and a vintage like this reveals every reason why that affirmation is true. From the second the 2012 Brunello di Montalcino pours into the glass, you know you are in for something special. The wine is darkly saturated and rich in appearance. Absent are those slightly amber or browning hues you often get with Sangiovese in a hot vintage. Nor does the wine show flat or tired characteristics. Instead, the quality of fruit is vibrant and rich. This is a healthy, generous and exuberant Brunello with dark density and succulent fruit flavors that are followed by integrated spice and tobacco. (ML) 95+" (02/2017)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Fontodi "Flaccianello della Pieve" Toscana (97DC, 97VN, 94JS, 94RP). Vinous: "The 2012 Flaccianello della Pieve, a selection of the estate's best fruit, presents a darker, more virile expression of Sangiovese. Here, too, the purity of the flavors is truly striking. Cinnamon, cloves, new leather, licorice and plums are some of the notes that soar from the glass. The 2012 is full-bodied and voluptuous, in classic Flaccianello style, but the new French oak is much better integrated than it often is at this stage, the result of a move to lower toast levels over the last few years. This is one of the finest young Flaccianellos I can remember. Simply put, the 2012 Flaccianello is a real stunner. Wow! (AG)" (09/2015)
Starting Bid: $200.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 l'Eglise Clinet, Pomerol (96RP, 95VN, 94WS, 93JS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A gorgeous wine from proprietor Denis Durantou, this blend of 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc is an inky purple color, with gorgeous purity of black raspberries, blackcurrants and blackberry with a hint of truffle and spring flowers. Its is full-bodied, opulent and a tour de force in this vintage. Great presence on the palate, fabulous purity and a long finish make for a magnificent bottle of wine to drink over the next 20-some years. (RP)" (04/2015)
Starting Bid: $260.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Caymus "40th Anniversary" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "They appear to be immune to some of winedom’s less than intelligent trends and fads that we see from time to time, and the result is a spectacular 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon 40th Anniversary offering. Its dense purple/black color is followed by copious quantities of crème de cassis and blackberry fruit, silky tannins, a voluptuous texture and stunning purity as well as length. This full-bodied effort is a fabulous example of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon as well as a tribute to this amazing family. Amazing! (RP)" (10/2014)
Starting Bid: $300.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Scarecrow "M. Etain" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94RP, 93WS, 92VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon M. Etain is in essence a second wine, but it sure doesn’t taste like one. Its deep purple color is followed by pure black raspberry and blackcurrant fruit, dusty, loamy soil notes, extraordinary depth of fruit, ripeness and good acidity. One of the classic wines of Napa Valley, Scarecrow’s Cabernet Sauvignons are made by well-known winemaking consultant Celia Welch. This historic vineyard in Rutherford, which owns some of the oldest vines in all of Napa, continues to turn out some of Napa’s most profound Cabernet Sauvignons. (RP)" (10/2014)
Starting Bid: $320.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Domaine François et Antoine Jobard Meursault 1er Cru "Genevrières" (95JG, (91-94ST), 92BH). John Gilman: "The 2012 Meursault 'Genevrières' from the Jobards is utterly classic and a stunning bottle in the making. The magical nose delivers a complex and very refined mix of tangerine, apple, passion fruit, chalky soil tones (that will turn salty with bottle age), orange blossoms, almond paste and a lovely framing of vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied and shows off gorgeous intensity of flavor, with crisp acids, laser-like focus and brilliant length and grip on the elegant, complex and utterly seamless finish. The backend energy on this wine is just magical! A stunning wine. 95+" (12/2013)
Starting Bid: $270.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Altesino Brunello di Montalcino (96WS, 94WE, 93JS, 93RP, 91VN). Wine Spectator: "Cherry, leather and iron notes mark this suave, elegant red. A bit reticent now, but the fruit is fresh and long on the finish. The dense tannins leave a mouthcoating impression, but this opens up beautifully over a few hours. *Highly Recommended* (BS)" (06/2017)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2012 Domaine Michel Briday Rully Blanc. Neal Martin writes: "Michel and Lucette Briday founded this domaine back in 1976 and having passed the reins to Sandrine and Stéphane Briday, the couple currently tend around 15-hectares in Rully, Bouzeron and Mercurey. You might term Briday as a “traditional” grower: respecting their terroirs via their lutte raisonée approach, handpicking, prudent use of new oak and bâtonnage etc."
Starting Bid: $80.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Il Poggione "Vigna Paganelli" Brunello di Montalcino Riserva (97JS, 95DC, 95RP, 95WE, 95WS, 93VN). James Suckling: "Rather sweet due to the super ripe vintage. But there's also great subtlety, enormous depth and a ton of tannin behind the opulence. The super long finish is incredibly focused. " (12/2018)

Bid on this magnum of 2012 Haut-Bailly, Pessac-Léognan (1.5L) (96JD, 96RP, 96VN, 94DC, 94JS, 94WE, 93WS). Vinous: "The 2012 Haut Bailly is quite fragrant and inviting. Dark raspberries, mint, crushed flowers, spices and rose petals all lift from the glass in this feminine, gracious Haut-Bailly that offers considerable near and medium-term appeal. All the elements fall into place in an effortless, stunningly beautiful wine endowed with personality and class. One of the wines of the vintage, the Haut Bailly will drink well for two decades-plus. This is a superb showing from proprietor Bob Wilmers and his team headed by Véronique Sanders. The decision to lower temperatures in fermentation and go for a soft, gentle extraction, along with strict selection has paid off big time. (AG)" (01/2016)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Emrich-Schönleber Halenberg Riesling Grosses Gewächs (92ST). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Spiced pear, sweet herbs and nut oils dominate the nose, along with a hint of lemon peel. Dense, silky tropical fruits are elegantly balanced by salty minerality on the palate. Crisp, pure and savory on the back end, finishing with sophisticated length. One of the finer dry Rieslings of the vintage on the Nahe." (01/2014)
