Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2001 Niebaum-Coppola "Rubicon" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (92WS, 91CG, 91RP, 90WE). Wine Spectator: "Dark, smooth, rich and complex, with a silky texture leading to a core of ripe plum, black cherry, smoky oak and wild berry flavors, finishing with a long, intricate aftertaste. This is a wine that grows on you. (JL)" (11/2004)
Starting Bid: $210.00

Bid on this bottle of 2001 Valdicava "Madonna del Piano" Brunello di Montalcino Riserva (100JS, 96RP, 95WS, 93VN). James Suckling: "This is an amazing Brunello with mushroom, spice, dried meat and dried fruits. Full-bodied, velvety and dense. It has amazing depth and length. Goes on for minutes. Still a perfect wine." (06/2016)
Starting Bid: $220.00

Bid on this bottle of 2001 Domaine Raveneau Chablis Grand Cru "Les Clos" (93BH, 93ST). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "This is a big step up in power and weight with a gorgeously complex nose of minerals, white flowers and minerals that leads to pure, muscular, fantastically detailed and precise flavors just oozing with sappy extract. This is quite concentrated and there is a certain regal classiness that separates this from all of the prior wines plus the length and vibrancy are simply incredible. This will require a few years of bottle age to completely integrate as the finish is very firm and quite dry for an '01 but all of the requisite material is here for this to evolve into a superb Les Clos." (10/2003)
Starting Bid: $550.00

Bid on this bottle of 2001 Domaine Philippe Charlopin-Parizot Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru ((89-92BH)). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "Pretty and elegant with outstanding finesse and purity of pinot fruit followed by detailed, rich, fleshy, nicely complex and full-bodied flavors and excellent length. I very much like the style of this." (01/2003)
Starting Bid: $135.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2001 Fuligni Brunello di Montalcino (95WS, 94ST, 92WE, 91RP). Wine Spectator: "Currant, berry and raspberry follow through to a full-bodied palate, with firm yet silky tannins and a fresh finish. Goes on for minutes. Tight and concentrated now. One for the cellar. (JS)" (04/2006)
Starting Bid: $120.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2001 Domaine Saint-Martin Bonnes Mares Grand Cru .
Starting Bid: $200.00

Bid on this bottle of 2001 Pride Mountain "Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, 97WS, 94ST, 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Staggeringly pure notes of creme de cassis, violets, licorice and graphite soar from the glass of this inky/purple-colored wine. Composed of 98% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Petit Verdot, and tasting like it is 2-3 years old, it is a stunningly pure, rich, full-bodied, prodigious example of high elevation mountain Cabernet Sauvignon that will not reach full maturity for another 5-7 years, and should age beautifully for another two decades or more. It is a magical wine to smell, taste and contemplate. These impressive 2001s from Pride Mountain Vineyards were made during the regime of Bob Foley and the late Jim Pride. The two most limited production cuvees are the Reserve Claret and Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, which are almost impossible to find. (RP) 98+" (05/2011)
Starting Bid: $170.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2001 Caymus Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (92WS). Wine Spectator: "A stylish wine with layers of rich, polished Cabernet fruit and a chorus of currant, herb and black cherry accompanied by pretty smoke and toasty oak. The long, soothing, complex aftertaste keeps pumping out the flavors. (JL)" (12/2003)
Starting Bid: $270.00
