Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2005 Tenuta San Guido "Sassicaia" Bolgheri (94DC, 94WS, 93RP, 93VN, 92W&S, 90ST). Wine Spectator: "Dark ruby in color, showing aromas of currant, new oak and fresh herbs, with hints of spices. Full-bodied, with very chewy tannins and an outstanding concentration of fruit. Needs plenty of bottle age. *Collectibles* (JS)" (10/2008)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2010 Castello dei Rampolla "Vigna d'Alceo" Toscana (100VN, 97ST). Vinous: "Rampolla's 2010 d'Alceo is utterly spellbinding today. Even better than it was last year, the 2010 impresses for its exceptional balance and pure finesse. Everything is simply in the right place. Silky, layered and unbelievably expressive, the 2010 d'Alceo is a thrill from the very first taste. Over the decades the Di Napoli family has made so many breathtaking wines, but the 2010 d'Alceo is something more than breathtaking, and that something more is hard to express with words. Readers lucky enough to taste the 2010, however, will know it right away. What a magnificent wine this is. (AG)" (09/2014)
Starting Bid: $400.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 1997 Nozzole "Il Pareto" Toscana. Wine Spectator: "Slightly overdone for Pareto, but interesting. Aromas of dried tobacco, cherry and herbs. Full-bodied, with big and chewy tannins. Long, mouthpuckering, slightly dry finish. (JS)" (07/2000)
Starting Bid: $160.00

Bid on this magnum of 1995 Tenuta dell'Ornellaia "Ornellaia" Bolgheri Superiore (1.5L) (95VN, 94JS). Vinous: "One of the biggest surprises of the night, the 1995 Ornellaia is superb. The 1995 has long been one of my favorite vintages of Ornellaia. It is also a wine I have followed since the beginning. Over the last few years, though, the wine has begun to fray and show its age. The 1995 was made during an earlier era, before Ornellaia introduced Le Serre Nuove, the estate’s second wine, and increased the selection for the flagship wine. On this evening, from magnum, the 1995 is superb. Lifted, gracious and remarkably fresh, the 1995 is utterly sublime. (AG)" (01/2017)
Starting Bid: $320.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1986 Castello dei Rampolla Sammarco. One of the very first Super Tuscans, this very long-lived red has always been a blend of sangiovese and cabernet sauvignon. According to James Suckling, of the Wine Spectator: "Sammarco was first produced at Castello dei Rampolla in 1980, years before Vigna d'Alceo. It was Alceo, the father of Luca and Maurizia di Napoli, who first started making Sammarco, a blend of Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon. Although its popularity has waned slightly with the starlike debut of its sister, Vigna d'Alceo, serious Italian collectors have always considered this a must-have wine."
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1997 Antinori "Tignanello" Toscana (96WS, 94RP, 93DC, 93VN, 93WE). Wine Spectator: "Exhibiting black currant, black cherry and cedar notes, this is reminiscent of the 1990, except younger and with greater density. Very fresh, this echoes the fruit, woodsy and spice elements on the long aftertaste. (BS, Web-2020)"
