Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2015 Crown Point Happy Canyon of Santa Barbara Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 97WE, 96JD, 94RP, 93VN) in original wood. Wine Enthusiast: "This winery is focused on setting a new benchmark for what Cabernet Sauvignon from Santa Barbara can be, and this bottling is its best yet. Beautifully layered aromas of black cherry, baking spice, star anise and crushed slate lead into a roasted palate of black plum and chai spices, with acid that carries into the finish. (MK)" (03/2019)
Starting Bid: $180.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2017 Jonata "La Sangre de Jonata" Santa Ynez Valley Syrah (94VN). Vinous: "The 2017 La Sangre de Jonata has really come together over the last year. Today, it is aromatically explosive, rich and hedonistic. Grilled herbs, menthol, plum, black cherry, lavender and sage are some of the many notes that develop in this extravagantly beautiful, expressive wine from Jonata. In 2017, La Sangre is marked by more of a red fruit profile than in the past, along with silkier tannins that will make it easy to drink and enjoy with minimal cellaring. (AG) 94+" (09/2019)
Starting Bid: $195.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2018 Paul Lato "Cinematique - Larner Vineyard" Santa Ynez Valley Syrah (99JD, 95RP, 94VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "From a site in the southern part of Ballard Canyon, the 2018 Syrah Cinematique can be thought of as a more Côte Rôtie-like wine compared to the Hermitage-like Bien Nacido release. Lots of black raspberry, rare meat, flowery incense, white and black pepper, new leather, and resinous herb notes all soar from the glass, and it's deep, full-bodied, perfectly balanced, and has a finish that won't quit. It's a true “Wow” wine and needs to be tasted to be believed." (08/2020)
Starting Bid: $240.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2017 Jonata "El Desafio" Ballard Canyon Cabernet Sauvignon (97VN). Vinous: "The 2017 El Desafio de Jonata is another positively stellar wine in this range. Two thousand seventeen is one of the few years in which Cabernet is so dominant. Rich and explosive, with tremendous vertical thrust, the 2017 oozes with class and intensity. Crème de cassis, new leather, licorice, sweet spice and menthol are some of the many notes that build as this statuesque, alluring wine shows off its pedigree. In 2017, the blend is 95% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Merlot and 2% Cabernet Franc. Wow...! (AG)" (09/2019)
Starting Bid: $300.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2017 Mail Road Wines Sta. Rita Hills Chardonnay. Jeb Dunnuck writes: "Another Matt Dees project, with Ruben Solorzano managing the vineyard, Mail Road Wines is focused exclusively on the Mount Carmel Vineyard in the Sta. Rita Hills, and they have long-term contracts on 3-4 different blocks."
Starting Bid: $180.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2010 Alban "Reva" Edna Valley Syrah ((95-97VN), 95RP, (92-93ST), 93WS). Vinous: "The 2010 Syrah Reva is magnificent. Blue and blackish tone fruits, smoke, tar, licorice, cloves and menthol all flesh out in a supple, exotic wine endowed with superb depth and polish. An explosive finish rounds things out beautifully in this impeccable, opulent Syrah. The 2010 spent 44 months in oak, 70% new, all of which it has handled with grace. Of the three 2010 Syrahs, this is the wine I would personally reach for more often, as it is truly stellar. (AG)" (07/2014)
Starting Bid: $200.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2016 Mail Road Wines Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir. Jeb Dunnuck writes: "Focusing exclusively on the Mt Carmel Vineyard located in the Sta. Rita Hills AVA, the wines from Mail Road Wines are made by winemaker Matt Dees. As with all of Matt's wines, they lean towards the more structured, fresh and lively end of the spectrum and will benefit from short term cellaring."
