Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2009 M. Chapoutier "La Sizeranne" Hermitage (94WS, 90RP, 90ST). Wine Spectator: "A very rich, authoritative style, with broad structure and lots of cocoa and dark fig paste notes leading the way for ample charcoal, roasted alder, espresso and steeped black currant fruit. Rich and long, this has the depth for cellaring. (JM)" (09/2012)
Starting Bid: $195.00

Bid on this bottle of 1990 Domaine Marc Sorrel "Le Gréal" Hermitage Rouge (96RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "More rounded and voluptuous than the '91, the youthful, opaque ruby-colored 1990 Hermitage le Greal is another blockbuster effort from Sorrel that offers fabulous aromatics (Asian spices, cassis, pepper), full-bodied richness and a serious, blockbuster finish that pumps out tons of fruit. While drinking beautifully, there's not even a hint of bricking or lightening at the edge, it has terrific purity of fruit and there's still present, sweet tannin on the finish. An incredible effort, I'd happily drink bottles anytime over the coming 10-15 years. (JD)" (09/2015)
Starting Bid: $600.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 M. Chapoutier "L'Ermite" Ermitage Rouge ((96-98RP), 96WS, (93-95VN)). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2014 Ermitage l’Ermite is almost painfully backwards and tight, with a liquid rock-like character permeating its lead pencil, beef blood/iodine, liquid violets, and black and blue fruits. Possessing more concentration and depth than just about every other wine I was able to taste in the vintage, this full-bodied, structured, backwards beast of an Hermitage will need 5-7 years of cellaring and keep for three decades. (JD)" (12/2015)
Starting Bid: $460.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2014 M. Chapoutier "Le Pavillon" Ermitage Rouge (96JS, 96RP, (94-96VN), 95WS). Vinous: "Opaque ruby. A deeply perfumed bouquet evokes candied dark berries, cherry cola, incense and violet, and a smoky mineral nuance builds in the glass. Intense, mineral-laced black and blue fruit and floral pastille flavors are given focus and spine by juicy acidity. Closes sweet, seamless and extremely long; peppery spices and smoky minerals add vivacity. This wine's blend of power and finesse is extremely impressive. (JR)" (03/2016)
Starting Bid: $480.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2003 Tardieu-Laurent Hermitage (95RP, 93ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2003 Hermitage is a classic. A backward, huge, massive wine that is just oozing with creme de cassis and melted licorice along with some toasty new oak smells. The wine is full, rich, and in need of a good decade of cellaring. A 50-year wine that should prove to be utterly extraordinary by 2016 or so, its massive concentration and great purity argue for long-term cellaring. (RP) 95+" (02/2006)
Starting Bid: $120.00

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2016 Domaine Paul Jaboulet Aîné "Domaine de Thalabert" Crozes-Hermitage (94JD, (92-93JS), 93RP, 93VN, 91WS). Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2016 Crozes Hermitage Domaine De Thalabert offers a rocking (and classic) bouquet of ripe black fruits intermixed with notions new saddle leather, pepper, garrigue, and hints of bacon fat. This ripe, medium to full-bodied, silky wine has remarkable purity, is already complex, and finishes with serious length." (12/2018)
