Bid on this magnum of 2014 Schrader ''Old Sparky'' Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (OWC - 98RP, 97JS) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Old Sparky, Fred Schrader's favorite selection, is clone 4 from the To Kalon Vineyard aged in 100% new Darnajou and seems closest in personality and overall style to the CCS. This is a beautiful wine with great intensity and seems to be one of the superstars of this vintage. Smoky barbecue notes intermix with charcoal embers, blackberry, cassis, Christmas fruitcake, licorice and camphor. (RP)" (10/2016)
Starting Bid: $753.00

Bid on this 3-magnum lot of 1977 Sterling Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (92JG). John Gilman: "The 1977 vintage was the very last that Ric Forman saw all the way through from spring pruning to bottling at Sterling, so even though he made the 1978s here, this was the last vintage that he actually had a chance to finish and bottle. The wine is absolutely superb (no surprise here), as it offers up a deep and complex bouquet of black cherries, petroleum jelly, Rutherford dust, a lovely base of soil tones, cigar smoke and a nice touch of chipotles in the upper register. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, complex and perfectly resolved today, with a lovely core, melting tannins and very fine length and grip on the focused and very classy finish. A lovely bottle with decades of life still ahead of it." (07/2019)
Starting Bid: $210.00

Bid on this magnum of 2013 Dominus Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (1.5L) (100DC, 100JS, 100RP, 100VN). Vinous: "The 2013 Dominus overwhelms all the senses with its magnificent overall balance and towering intensity. Deep and nearly impenetrable in the glass, the 2013 boasts off the charts dry extract and overall power. Violets, smoke, black cherries, menthol, incense, crème de cassis and dark spices are some of the many signatures that take shape in the glass. Even better in bottle than it was in barrel, the 2013 is utterly magnificent. This is a remarkably vivid, nuanced wine considering its sheer size. (AG)" (10/2015)
Starting Bid: $1,100.00

Bid on this magnum of 2010 Vérité "La Muse" Sonoma County Bordeaux Blend (1.5L) (97VN, 94RP). Vinous: "Bright, deep ruby-red. Slightly high-toned scents of raspberry, coffee, milk chocolate and rose petal, plus some Old World hints of meat and earth. Utterly fine-grained and seamless on entry, with perfectly integrated acidity and a floral element giving clarity and lift to the red fruit, spice and mineral flavors. A first sample of this wine showed some porty high tones but this one is refined and pure, rich but not a bit heavy. In fact, it's wonderfully delineated, aromatic and fresh in the style of a top Pomerol. Finishes with firm, dusty, nicely buffered tannins, terrific thrust and sneaky rising floral perfume. This wonderfully elegant, pure, broad wine comes across as less wild than the Le Désir and La Joie bottlings. It should continue to evolve gracefully on its balance and palate-saturating breadth. Wow! Held up beautifully with aeration. (ST) " (05/2020)
Starting Bid: $350.00

Bid on this magnum of 2000 Shafer "Hillside Select" Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (95WS, 94RP). Wine Spectator: "A mouthful, this wine gushes with pure, ripe Cabernet fruit. Tiers of currant, anise, blackberry, cherry and wild berry flavors are supported by pretty mocha-scented oak and plush, velvety tannins that firm up on the finish, giving it a solid backbone, yet the persistent flavors keep pushing through. (JL)" (10/2003)
Starting Bid: $290.00

Bid on this magnum of 2008 Promontory Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (1.5L) (OWC - 91ST) in original wood. Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Deep, bright ruby. Open-knit aromas of sexy oak, black raspberry, cinnamon and mint oil. Intensely flavored, savory and dry, with exotic spicy lift to the dark fruit and root beer flavors. This began with a very ripe character but gained freshness and a higher pitch in the glass as the tannins came into harmony. Still, there's an edgy quality to the finish that I did not notice in the 2009 or 2010. This will be the first release of a new wine from Bill Harlan, from a property just over a mile south of Harlan Estate, in the hills above Dominus. (ST) 91+" (05/2012)
Starting Bid: $1,190.00

Bid on this magnum of 2005 Silver Oak Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (92W&S, 90DC). Wine & Spirits: "A classic Alexander Valley Cabernet, this is dark and cedary, and as smooth as velvet. The tannins last, built on black cherry-skin flavor and earthy, root-vegetable notes. With time, that black cherry flavor should become more prominent, balancing the wine's earthy complexities." (03/2010)
Starting Bid: $130.00

Bid on this magnum of 2005 Trefethen "Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (99WE, 94RP). Wine Enthusiast: "This is nearly perfect, a massive, monumental wine whose sheer power is matched only by its grace and refinement. The flavors of blackberries, cassis, dark chocolate, buttered toast and cedar flood the mouth, tightly controlled by firm tannins and good acidity. " (04/2010)
Starting Bid: $90.00

Bid on this magnum of 2018 Schrader "Old Sparky" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (OWC - 100JD, 99JS) in original wood. Jeb Dunnuck: "There are few vintages of Old Sparky that don't merit a perfect rating, and the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard Old Sparky isn't one of them. This flawless wine offers up a wild smorgasbord of aromas and flavors, with loads of crème de cassis, blueberries, scorched earth, lead pencil, violets, blood orange, tobacco, and flowery incense all developing with time in the glass. Deep purple-hued and incredibly full-bodied, it has ripe, silky tannins, perfect balance, and a finish that won't quit. " (01/2021)
Starting Bid: $875.00

Bid on this magnum of 2011 Futo Oakville Bordeaux Blend (1.5L) (OWC - 97RP, 96VN, 93ST) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2011 Proprietary Red Estate is a blend of 74% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Cabernet Franc, 9% Petit Verdot and 6% Merlot. It offers sweet blackcurrant and blueberry fruit intermixed with hints of toast and white flowers, beautiful body and a savory personality. A top success for the vintage, it should drink well for 10-12 years.Tom Futo’s beautiful Oakville estate just down the slopes of the western Mayacamas Mountains from Harlan Estate continues to build on a portfolio of brilliant, but limited production wines. (RP)" (10/2014)
Starting Bid: $240.00

Bid on this magnum of 2009 Continuum Oakville Bordeaux Blend (1.5L) (95RP, 94VN, 93CG, 93ST, 92WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Composed of 77% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Cabernet Franc, 7% Petit Verdot and 4% Merlot, the 2009 Proprietary Red is deep garnet colored and leaps from the glass with notes of pure blackcurrant pastilles, preserved black cherries and warm blackberries with hints of wild sage, candied violets and fertile loam. Medium to full-bodied and built like a brick house, the firm, grainy tannins nicely frame the taut, muscular fruit, finishing long and mineral laced. (LPB)" (02/2019)
Starting Bid: $200.00

Bid on this magnum of 2010 Vérité "Le Désir" Sonoma County Bordeaux Blend (1.5L) (94VN, 93RP). Vinous: "Mocha, bittersweet chocolate, tobacco, menthol and savory herbs meld together in the 2010 Le Desir. Like all of the 2010s here, the Desir is going to need time to unwind and fully come together. There is wonderful definition in the flavors, along with vibrant structure and plenty of intensity. Savory herb and tobacco are some of the notes that inform the powerful finish. Like all of the 2010s, the fruit is a bit suppressed by the wine's imposing structure today. There is no shortage of personality, though. All the 2010 needs is time. (AG)" (02/2014)
Starting Bid: $350.00

Bid on this magnum of 2003 Philip Togni Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (94VN). Vinous: "The 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon is just beginning to enter its early plateau of maturity that will last another 10-15 years. Smoke, tobacco, licorice, incense emerge from the glass, followed by hints of white pepper and orange peel that add intrigue and exoticism. The 2003 is relatively supple and open for a Togni Cabernet, but it also has enough depth to continue to drink nicely for years. (AG)" (11/2013)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this magnum of 2007 Revana Family Vineyard St. Helena Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L).
Starting Bid: $140.00

Bid on this magnum of 2013 Heitz "Martha's Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (96WE, 95JS). Wine Enthusiast: "From Tom and Martha May's famous, organically farmed site in the heart of the appellation, this is a blockbuster vintage of the 100% varietal wine, immaculately structured and full of fresh acidity. The menthol is there, subtle, heightened by delicate, silky layerings of orange peel, red currant and cinnamon. Drink 2023–2033. *Cellar Selection* (VB)" (09/2018)
