Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2005 Branon, Pessac-Léognan (96RP, 92ST, 91WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This small jewel of a property owned by the Garcin family has been making great wine for a number of years, with the only problem being its very limited availability. Their beautifully deep 2005 has a dark purple color and displays charcoal, blackberry and cassis fruit, with some smoky barbecue notes in the background. This full-bodied, opulent wine is still youthful at age 10, and promises to continue to evolve for another 15-20 years. Pure and stunning, this is a great wine of the vintage. (RP) 96+" (06/2015)
Starting Bid: $600.00

Bid on this bottle of 1998 Haut-Brion, Pessac-Léognan (99RP, 97WS, 96VN, 94ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Still incredibly youthful and sporting a lot of fruit, the deep garnet-brick colored 1998 Haut-Brion sashays out of the glass with flamboyant red and black fruits, followed by a train of cassis, blueberry pie and chocolate box notions plus accents of iron ore, dried lavender and underbrush. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is wonderfully rich and decadently seductive in its generosity of fruit and velvety texture, offering seamless freshness and finishing with epic length and compelling minerality. Starting Bid: $505.00

Bid on this bottle of 1998 La Mission Haut-Brion, Pessac-Léognan (98JS, 98RP, 96VN, 96WS, 95W&S, 92ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A candidate for the wine of the vintage from this somewhat forgotten year, consumers should be seeking out wines from the Right Bank and Graves as 1998 was a great vintage in those appellations. La Mission’s 1998 exhibits a healthy, opaque blue/purple color with no lightening at the edge. Thirty minutes of aeration brings forth a sensational bouquet of chocolate, cedar, truffles, graphite, blackberries, cassis and incense. La Mission’s so-called scorched earth/charcoal/hot rocks characteristic has not yet appeared. Full-bodied with superb purity, a multilayered texture, sweet tannin, good acidity and a fabulously long finish, this great, young La Mission-Haut-Brion’s finest days are yet to come. Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2017 Couhins Blanc, Pessac-Léognan (94DC, 94WE, 93JS, 92RP, 92VN). Wine Enthusiast: "This generous wine is full of white fruits and ripe acidity. A tangy texture balances this richness, giving edginess to the wine's structure. At this stage, the wine is young, needing plenty of time for the concentration to soften and allow the wine to open. Starting Bid: $125.00

Bid on this 3-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2005 Carbonnieux, Pessac-Léognan (92VN, 91CG, 91RP, 90WE) and 2-bottles of 2005 Lusseau, St-Émilion (90RP). Of the 2005 Carbonnieux, Pessac-Léognan, Vinous writes: "The 2005 Carbonniex is a gorgeous wine to drink now and over then next 10-15 years, maybe more. Time has softened the edges and given the 2005 lovely aromatic complexity. This mid-weight Pessac-Léognan isn’t a blockbuster, but it is immensely delicious today and really hitting its stride as a wine that is approaching maturity. Sweet red plum, white pepper, cedar and pipe tobacco linger on the classy, understated finish. (AG)" (04/2021)
Starting Bid: $160.00

Bid on this bottle of 1978 La Tour Haut-Brion, Graves (95RP, 94JG, 93VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This is a wine I try to purchase at wine auctions. One of the top wines of the 1978 vintage, La Tour-Haut-Brion's color remains a murky garnet/purple. An explosive nose offers up aromas of roasted meats and herbs, truffles, licorice, Asian spices, and sweet black currant fruit. It is powerful, muscular, and full-bodied, with considerable tannin. This profoundly rich wine is just beginning to reach its plateau of maturity, where it should remain for another 10-20 years. It is a remarkable effort! Anticipated maturity: 2000-2020. (RP)" (12/1997)
Starting Bid: $285.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Haut-Bailly, Pessac-Léognan (96VN, 95JS, 95WE, 94JD, 94RP, 94WS). Vinous: "The 2014 Haut-Bailly has turned out beautifully. Dark, sumptuous and expressive, the 2014 exudes depth and finesse. Ample and resonant on the palate, with striking depth, the 2014 possesses exceptional balance and class. Hints of smoke, tobacco and licorice infuse the deep, creamy finish. (AG)" (02/2017)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2014 Domaine de Chevalier Rouge, Pessac-Léognan (96VN, 95WE, 94JD, 94JS, 93DC, 92WS). Vinous: "I was deeply impressed with these wines from Domaine de Chevalier. The red has a slight upper hand in 2014, but both wines are distinctive and full of character. Olivier Bernard owns one of the crown jewels of Bordeaux, as these wines clearly make evident. The 2014 Domaine de Chevalier is a total knockout. Precise, brilliant and finely sculpted, the 2014 possesses superb intensity. Freshly cut flowers, mint and sweet red berries, along with finessed but persistent tannins, give the wine its regal personality. The 2014 needs a number of years to shed some baby fat and develop the full breadth of its aromatics, but it is a fabulous wine by any measure. (AG) " (02/2017)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2009 La Mission Haut-Brion, Pessac-Léognan (100RP, 98JS, 97DC, 97ST, 97VN, 97WE, 96WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A candidate for the wine of the vintage, the 2009 La Mission-Haut-Brion stood out as one of the most exceptional young wines I had ever tasted from barrel, and its greatness has been confirmed in the bottle. A remarkable effort from the Dillon family, this is another large-scaled La Mission that tips the scales at 15% alcohol. A blend of equal parts Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot (47% of each) and the rest Cabernet Franc, it exhibits an opaque purple color as well as a magnificent bouquet of truffles, scorched earth, blackberry and blueberry liqueur, subtle smoke and spring flowers. . (RP)" (08/2012)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2009 Domaine de Chevalier Rouge, Pessac-Léognan (97JS, 96DC, 96JD, 95RP, 95WE, 94VN, 93ST, 93WS). James Suckling: "Aromas of blueberries and lemon rind. Full body, with soft and velvety tannins and bright fruity finish. Refined and beautiful. Layered wine. Pure fruit. Gravelley. Stoney. So classy and complex. " (12/2012)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2002 Haut-Brion, Pessac-Léognan (93WS, 92ST, 91RP). Wine Spectator: "Complex aromas of blackberries, tobacco and cedar follow through to a full-bodied palate, with ripe, velvety tannins and a long, caressing finish. Very beautiful. (JS)" (03/2005)
