Bid on this magnum of 2011 Saxum "Booker Vineyard" Paso Robles Syrah-Mourvèdre (1.5L) (96RP, 94ST, 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Beautifully done, and probably the most elegant, seamless version of this cuvee I’ve tasted, the 2011 Booker Vineyard offers terrific aromas and flavors of liquid violets, sappy underbrush, smoked , exotic spices and plenty of crushed rock-like minerality that are all carried by layers of sweet cassis and black raspberry. There’s a northern Rhone-like character here, but it hits the palate with full-bodied richness, fantastic mid-palate concentration, and a seamless, layered and multi-dimensional mouthfeel that’s hard to resist. Made from 67% Syrah and 33% Mourvedre and aged in 300- and 350-liter hogsheads (and fermented with varying degrees of whole cluster), this beautifully pure, polished and complex effort will benefit from short-term cellaring and have over 15 years of overall longevity. Bid on this magnum of 2014 Saxum "Broken Stones" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (1.5L) (97JD, 95RP, 95VN, 92WS). Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2014 Broken Stones is heavenly stuff! Made from a blend of 41% Syrah, 19% Grenache, 16% Petite Sirah, 13% Mourvèdre and the balance Tempranillo and Roussanne, this inky colored beauty offers terrific notes of mostly blue fruits (blackberries, blueberries), crushed violets, Asian spices and forest floor. Full-bodied, concentrated, elegant and seamless on the palate, it has a ripe tannin and a gorgeous finish. This is a fabulous wine to enjoy anytime over the coming decade.I’ve raved so much about the wines from Saxum’s Justin Smith, I feel like a broken record every new vintage. " (08/2017)
Starting Bid: $135.00

Highly expressive blackberry, cherry preserve, licorice pastille, Moroccan spice and potpourri scents are complemented by a smoky mineral overtone. Seamless and broad in the mouth, offering deeply concentrated black/blue fruit liqueur, cherry cola and candied violet flavors that become livelier as the wine opens up. Finishes extremely long and focused, with emphatic mineral thrust, rounded tannins and superb tenacity. (JR)" (12/2020)

Bid on this magnum of 2013 Saxum "Paderewski Vineyard" Paso Robles Red Blend (1.5L) (97RP, 94VN, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "One of the more accessible 2013s is the 2013 Paderewski Vineyard, which checks in as a blend of 34% Mourvedre, 33% Zinfandel, 13% Petite Sirah, 12% Syrah and the rest Tempranillo. Its deep ruby, vibrant color is followed by sensational notes of caramelized black cherries, spice box, peppery herbs and chalky minerality. Rich, full-bodied, utterly seamless and gorgeous on the palate, it's an incredible expression of this higher elevation, warm site that readers shouldn't miss. (JD)" (08/2016)

Bid on this magnum of 2015 Saxum "Broken Stones" Paso Robles Red Blend (1.5L) (97JD, 97RP, 96WS, 95VN). Bid on this magnum of 2014 Saxum "Paderewski Vineyard" Paso Robles Red Blend (1.5L) (98JD, 95VN, 95WS, 94RP). Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2014 Paderewski Vineyard is as voluptuous and decadent as it gets. Plum sauce, exotic spices, white pepper, candy corn and spring flowers, it hits the palate with a broad, expansive, sexy style, ripe tannin, no weight and a blockbuster finish. It’s so well balanced and seamless, it can come across as a touch easy, yet it has terrific complexity, good mid-palate density and a great, great finish. This is what great wine is all about." Starting Bid: $145.00

Bid on this magnum of 2016 Saxum "Broken Stones" Paso Robles Red Blend (1.5L) (97JD, 96VN, 94RP). Jeb Dunnuck: "Brought up in foudre, amphora, and some new puncheons, the 2016 Broken Stones offers a deep, full-bodied, quintessential Paso Robles style that carries plenty of freshness and acidity, notes of black and blue fruits, smoked meats, violets, and ground pepper, polished tannins, and a monster of a finish. A blend of 51% Syrah, 17% Mourvèdre, 13% Grenache, and the rest Tempranillo, Petite Sirah, and Roussanne, it’s going to benefit from 2-3 years of bottle age and cruise for 15 years or more." Bid on this magnum of 2015 Saxum "Rocket Block - James Berry Vineyard" Paso Robles Willow Creek District Rhône Blend (1.5L) (100JD, 98RP, 98VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "As with the Bone Rock, there are only four barrels of the 2015 James Berry Vineyard Rocket Block, a blend of 89% Grenache and 11% Mataró, from a tiny parcel, that was all co-fermented. Offering the essence of kirsch liqueur, ground pepper, gravelly minerality, herbes de Provence, and licorice, it reminds me of a great vintage of Domaine de Marcoux’s Châteauneuf du Pape Vieilles Vignes. Massive and opulent on the palate, yet pure, elegant, and refined, with silky tannins, it’s as good as wine gets. Hats off to Smith for another magical wine." (10/2019)
