Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2017 Torrin "Akasha" Paso Robles Syrah (99JD, 93RP). Jeb Dunnuck: "Always all Syrah, the 2017 Syrah Akasha comes from the Shadow Canyon, Bien Nacido, and Full Draw vineyards and was aged in French oak for 22 months followed by another 12 months in bottle. It's not too dissimilar from the Le Devoir cuvée and has gorgeous notes of blackberries, white pepper, violets, smoked game, and spring flowers. Just about pure perfection on the palate, with full-bodied richness, a focused, elegant texture, building structure, and a great finish, it's a stunning Syrah by any measure. It's going to benefit from a year or three of bottle age and keep for over a decade." (09/2020)
Starting Bid: $132.00

Bid on this magnum of 2017 Saxum "Broken Stones" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (1.5L) (97JD, 97VN, 94RP, 93WS). Vinous: "Deep, shimmering purple. Highly expressive blackberry, cherry preserve, licorice pastille, Moroccan spice and potpourri scents are complemented by a smoky mineral overtone. Seamless and broad in the mouth, offering deeply concentrated black/blue fruit liqueur, cherry cola and candied violet flavors that become livelier as the wine opens up. Finishes extremely long and focused, with emphatic mineral thrust, rounded tannins and superb tenacity. (JR)" (12/2020)
Starting Bid: $205.00

Bid on this bottle of 2017 Saxum "Booker Vineyard" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (98JD, 96VN, 95RP, 94WS). Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2017 Booker Vineyard got a few expletives and wows in the notes. It’s a full-bodied, flamboyant, straight essence of Paso Robles beauty that’s loaded with notions of black fruits, chocolate, ground pepper, candied orange peel, and spring flowers. It’s a masculine, powerhouse of a Syrah, which is classic Booker Vineyard. 98+" (10/2019)
Starting Bid: $96.05

Bid on this magnum of 2017 Saxum "Paderewski Vineyard" Paso Robles Red Blend (1.5L) (97VN, 95JD, 94RP, 93WS). Vinous: "Opaque ruby. Powerful, deeply pitched black and blue fruit, candied licorice, violet pastille and fruitcake flavors are braced by a spine of juicy acidity and a hint of smoky minerals. Stains the palate with densely packed cassis, bitter cherry and blueberry flavors that pick up exotic spice, cola and dark chocolate on the back half. This deeply concentrated wine shows remarkable clarity and litheness for its richness and finishes extremely long and spicy, with a resonating floral note and chewy, steadily building tannins. (JR)" (02/2020)
Starting Bid: $140.00

Bid on this bottle of 2017 Saxum "Bone Rock - James Berry Vineyard" Paso Robles Willow Creek District Red Blend (99JD, 98VN, 95RP, 93DC). Jeb Dunnuck: "Based on two-thirds Syrah, 16% Graciano, 9% Mataro, 5% Roussanne, and the rest Grenache and Petite Sirah, the 2017 Bone Rock is a powerhouse wine that does everything right. Deep purple-colored, with a rocking nose of chocolate, smoked meat, ground pepper, Asian spices, and spring flower, it hits the palate with full-bodied richness, a plush, sexy texture, good acidity, and a great, great finish. I’d be happy to drink bottles any time over the coming 10-15 years." (09/2020)
Starting Bid: $120.00
