Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2016 Saxum "James Berry Vineyard" Paso Robles Willow Creek District Rhône Blend (100JD, 97WS, 96RP, 96VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "One of the greatest GSM blends to ever come out of California is the 2016 James Berry Vineyard, which is 55% Grenache, 24% Mourvèdre, 13% Syrah, and 8% Counoise. This sensational wine reminds me of the 2016 Mon Aïeul from Pierre Usseglio with its awesome perfume of sweet blackberry and cassis fruits, smoke meats, exotic spice, licorice, and garrigue-like aromas and flavors. Deep, rich and layered on the palate, with a massive core of sweet fruit, this beauty builds with time in the glass and has incredible purity of fruit, a mix of richness and elegance that's hard to describe, sweet tannins, and a huge finish. It's every bit as impressive as the 2007 was on release. Hats off to Justin Smith for this incredible wine! I finished my note with 'the greatest GSM blend from California, ever.'" (11/2018)
Starting Bid: $230.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Daou "Soul of A Lion" Adelaida District Cabernet Sauvignon (98JD, 97RP, 96VN, 95WE, 94JS, 93DC). Jeb Dunnuck: "Also bottled the week before this tasting, the 2016 Soul of a Lion includes more Cabernet Sauvignon than the 2014 and 2015 and is 84% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Cabernet Franc and the rest Petit Verdot. It’s an incredible achievement and has sensational notes of crème de cassis, graphite, violets, and lead pencil shavings. Made in a pure California, pedal-to-the-metal style, with full body and loads of fruit, it stays balanced, has ultra-fine tannins, and a layered, seamless style that just glides over the palate. Don’t think Paso Robles can make world-class Cabernet Sauvignon? Try this wine." (11/2018)

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2016 McPrice Myers "Altas Viñas" Santa Barbara County Rhône Blend (95VN, 93JD, 93WS). Vinous: "Deep lurid ruby. Spicy, intensely perfumed aromas of fresh dark berries, Indian spices, cola and potpourri. Sweet and seamless in the mouth, offering deeply concentrated yet lively black currant and boysenberry flavors and suggestions of candied violet and star anise. Picks up a smoky nuance on a strikingly long, penetrating finish that features a repeating floral note and smooth tannins. (JR)" (07/2018)
Starting Bid: $210.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2016 Justin "Isosceles Reserve" Paso Robles Bordeaux Blend (OWC - 95WE) in original wood. Wine Enthusiast: "Clean lines of blackberry jam, charred toast and crushed slate make for a focused nose in this reserve blend of 86% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc, 3% Malbec and 1% Petit Verdot. It is very dense and thick on the palate, where mocha, caramel, loamy earth and dark berry flavors align into an lusciously rich yet elegantly dry experience. (MK)" (04/2021)
Starting Bid: $480.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Saxum "Paderewski Vineyard" Paso Robles Red Blend (97JD, 97VN, 93RP, 93WS). Vinous: "A complex, intensely perfumed bouquet displays candied black and blue fruit, vanilla and musky earth qualities, while violet, licorice and dark chocolate nuances build in the glass. Sweet and expansive on the palate, offering impressively concentrated, mineral-laced cassis, cherry compote and fruitcake flavors that are given spicy bite by a peppery flourish. Tightens up slowly on a wonderfully long, chewy, floral-dominated finish that's framed by talc-y, well-knit tannins. (JR)" (09/2018)
Starting Bid: $240.00

Bid on this magnum of 2016 Saxum "Broken Stones" Paso Robles Red Blend (1.5L) (97JD, 96VN, 94RP). Jeb Dunnuck: "Brought up in foudre, amphora, and some new puncheons, the 2016 Broken Stones offers a deep, full-bodied, quintessential Paso Robles style that carries plenty of freshness and acidity, notes of black and blue fruits, smoked meats, violets, and ground pepper, polished tannins, and a monster of a finish. A blend of 51% Syrah, 17% Mourvèdre, 13% Grenache, and the rest Tempranillo, Petite Sirah, and Roussanne, it’s going to benefit from 2-3 years of bottle age and cruise for 15 years or more." Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2016 McPrice Myers "Beautiful Earth" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (94JD, 94VN, 92WS). Vinous: "Opaque ruby. Intensely perfumed, spice-tinged red and blue fruit, cola, incense and potpourri qualities on the nose. Lush, velvety and expansive in the mouth; bright acidity energizes densely packed black raspberry, blueberry, floral pastille and spicecake flavors.
