Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 The Ripper (Grenache) is up with some of the greatest expressions of this variety in California. Aged in a combination of concrete and neutral demi-muids, it offers truly spectacular notes of kirsch, black berries, rose petals, licorice and herbes de Provence as well as a full-bodied, rich, voluptuous and unctuously textured feel on the palate. Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2013 Law "Audacious" Paso Robles Red Wine (95RP, 93VN, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Audacious is a total head turner that's made from 39% Grenache, 36% Syrah and 25% Cabernet Sauvignon and is all from the limestone soils of the Law Family Vineyard located high up off of Peachy Canyon Road. Fermented in concrete tanks and aged 20 months in 228- and 500-liter French oak barrels, this beauty is locked and loaded with notions of kirsch liqueur, blackberries, savory herbs and dried earth. Rich, full-bodied, concentrated and sexy, with building tannin, don't miss this beauty! These latest releases from Law Estate Wines, which are made by the incredibly talented Scott Hawley, are jaw dropping good, and easily the greatest wines to come from this new estate. The future looks very bright indeed. (JD)" (07/2016)

Its deep ruby, vibrant color is followed by sensational notes of caramelized black cherries, spice box, peppery herbs and chalky minerality. Rich, full-bodied, utterly seamless and gorgeous on the palate, it's an incredible expression of this higher elevation, warm site that readers shouldn't miss. (JD)" (08/2016)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Booker "Fracture" Paso Robles Syrah (99RP, 94WS, 93VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Fracture is an utterly sensational blend of 100% Syrah, all from the estate Booker Vineyard, that exhibits off-the-chart notes of creme de cassis, crushed flowers, licorice, vanilla bean and toasted spice. Possessing perfect integration of its fruit, alcohol, tannin and acidity, it's full-bodied and incredibly seamless, with terrific concentration, a full, layered mid-palate and a blockbuster finish. Paso Robles Syrah at its finest, this incredible wine will benefit from a year or two in the cellar, yet thrill through 2025. Hats off to Eric Jensen for this absolutely killer effort and readers who doubt the quality of wine coming from these rolling hills west of Paso Robles need to try this wine. (JD)" (08/2015)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Saxum "Broken Stones" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (96RP, 95VN, 93WS). Its deep, inky color is followed by a structured, seriously mineral-laced and full-bodied red that offers lots of fruit (cassis, black cherries and raspberries), smoked earth and chocolate aromas and flavors.
