Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2009 Domaine Joseph Roty Gevrey-Chambertin "Cuvee de Champs-Chenys" (90ST). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Good deep red. Lovely lift to the aromas of black cherry, blackberry, violet and smoked meat. Juicy, spicy and nicely delineated, with lovely cut to the blackberry, spice and espresso flavors. Finishes with very good grip. Energetic for 2009." (03/2012)
Starting Bid: $240.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2009 Domaine Joseph Roty Gevrey-Chambertin "La Brunelle" (90BH). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "What was a generously wooded nose has moderated somewhat and while the oak is not invisible, it no longer dominates the otherwise very fresh and pretty red Pinot fruit aromas that merge gracefully into silky, round and well-balanced flavors though the wood comes up again on the persistent finish. My rating offers the benefit of the doubt that the oak will integrate in time." (01/2012)
Starting Bid: $80.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2009 Camille Giroud Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru ((91-93BH), (90-93RP), 92ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2009 Charmes-Chambertin is open, sleek and seductive. Silky tannins frame a ripe, generous core of fruit. This is a typical 2009 Charmes, long on the fruit but lacking a touch of verve that might otherwise elevate it. Dried flowers and red berries linger on the finish. This is a true Charmes sourced from the upper portion of that vineyard. (AG)" (05/2011)
Starting Bid: $290.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2009 Camille Giroud Latricières-Chambertin Grand Cru ((92-94BH), 94RP, 92ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2009 Latricieres-Chambertin is quite a bit fresher and at times more ethereal than the Chambertin. I especially like the energy, focus and nuance of the Latricieres, all typical of this cool site. Floral and spice notes add further lift and vibrancy as the wine opens up in the glass. (AG)" (04/2012)
Starting Bid: $260.00

Bid on this bottle of 2009 Claude Dugat Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru ((89-92BH), 92WS, 91RP, 91ST). Wine Spectator: "Blackberry and dark plum aromas and flavors mark this brooding red. It's dense and concentrated, if not that expressive right now, with a lingering aftertaste of cherry and blackberry. (BS)" (05/2012)
Starting Bid: $105.00

Bid on this bottle of 2009 Frédéric Magnien Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru ((92-95ST), (91-94BH), 92RP). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: " Good full, deep red. Sexy, highly aromatic nose combines briary raspberry, crushed stone, clove, cumin, dried flowers and smoke. Wonderfully silky and seductive on the palate, with compelling inner-mouth perfume. But much less expressive on the back half and in need of substantial bottle aging. Still, this extremely promising Charmes is already wonderfully subtle wine." (01/2011)
Starting Bid: $100.00
