Bid on this 2-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2017 Cayuse "Armada Vineyard" Walla Walla Valley Syrah (97JD, 97RP, 96VN, 95JS, 94WS, 93WE) and 1-bottle of 2018 Cayuse "Cailloux Vineyard" Walla Walla Valley Syrah (97JD, 96JS, 96WS). Of the 2017 Cayuse "Armada Vineyard" Walla Walla Valley Syrah, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "The 2017 Syrah Armada Vineyard bursts out of the glass with complex and expressive aromas of blackberry, black tea, savory and umami tones of crushed black pepper, grilled meat and dried lilac and lavender. Medium to full-bodied, the wine is elegant and seamless on the palate, unfolding beautifully with precision and intention, offering up instant gratification in youth. (AM)" (08/2020)

Bid on this bottle of 2017 Cayuse "Bionic Frog" Walla Walla Valley Syrah (98JD, 98JS, 98RP, 96VN, 95WE, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Part of the magic that happens with the 2017 Syrah Bionic Frog is that it is opaque with neon purple edges without being inky and massive. With classic Syrah tones of smoked meat, leather, lavender, lilac and black pepper, the wine is rich with aromas of blackberry, black raspberry and smoked plum. Medium to full-bodied, the wine explodes with intention and precision on the palate, with an immaculate balance and crystal-clear focus. Brilliantly structured, the wine continues to evolve with subtle and seamlessly integrated spice tones compounded by a mineral tension and a floral lift to make this wine float across the mid-palate. Bid on this bottle of 2018 Cayuse "Bionic Frog" Walla Walla Valley Syrah (100JD, 98JS, 95WS). Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2018 Syrah Bionic Frog comes from the Coccinelle Vineyard in the Rocks district of Milton-Freewater. It’s always one of the richest, most concentrated Syrahs in the lineup, yet it doesn't give an inch with regard to elegance and purity. The 2018 was aged mostly in demi-muids (there's often a portion aged in foudre) and hit 14.4% natural alcohol. This deeper ruby/purple-hued beauty offers a gorgeous bouquet of black raspberries, redcurrants, tapenade, bacon fat, and wood smoke, with a touch of reductive scorched earth and graphite nuances. This carries to a full-bodied Syrah with ultra-fine yet building tannins, a layered, deep, textured mouthfeel, and flawless overall balance. It's another magical, incredibly pure Syrah from the genius of Baron that will benefit from just 2-3 years of bottle age and keep for over two decades." (05/2021)
Starting Bid: $255.00

Bid on this 2-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2009 Cayuse "En Cerise" Walla Walla Valley Syrah (96RP, (93-95JD), 95WS, 94ST, 94WE) and 1-bottle of 2010 Cayuse "En Cerise" Walla Walla Valley Syrah (98WE, (94-96JD), 96WS, 95RP, 94ST). Of the 2010 Cayuse "En Cerise" Walla Walla Valley Syrah, Wine Enthusiast writes: "The purity and potent, almost mystical aromas of the En Cerise Syrah conjure up flying carpet visions of purple and black fruits. The enticing aromatics have a citrusy lift, with orange peel and incense, like drinking a Persian rug. Amazingly complex, seamless, dense, and elegant, it’s a wine that never stops, as new flavors keep emerging the longer it breathes. *Editors' Choice* (PG)" (12/2013)

Bid on this 2-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2013 Cayuse "En Cerise" Walla Walla Valley Syrah (95RP, 94WE, 94WS, 93VN) and 1-bottle of 2014 Cayuse "En Cerise" Walla Walla Valley Syrah (95RP, 95WS, 94VN, 93WE). Of the 2013 Cayuse "En Cerise" Walla Walla Valley Syrah, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "Brought up in a scant 15% new puncheons, the 2013 Syrah en Cerise is a beautifully layered, elegant, yet focused and concentrated Syrah that really needs 2-3 years of bottle age to strut its stuff. Black cherries, raw steak, violets and pepper all emerge from this full-bodied, balanced, classic Syrah from one the top winemakers in the US. (JD) 95+" (06/2016)

Bid on this 2-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2012 Cayuse "Cailloux Vineyard" Walla Walla Valley Syrah (96RP, 95VN, 95WS, 94WE) and 1-bottle of 2013 Cayuse "Cailloux Vineyard" Walla Walla Valley Syrah (96WS, 95VN, 95WE, 94RP). Of the 2012 Cayuse "Cailloux Vineyard" Walla Walla Valley Syrah, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "The only Syrah to be cofermented with Viognier, the 2012 Syrah Cailloux Vineyard (which sees mostly second-fill barrels) is one of the more serious, age-worthy examples of this cuvee I've tasted. Offering up lots of black raspberry, orange blossom, peach pit (these are no doubt due to the Viognier) and violet notes to go with almost searing minerality, this fabulous Syrah hits the palate with full-bodied richness, a layered, concentrated, tannic mouth feel and a great finish. (JD) 96+" (04/2015)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2017 Quilceda Creek "Galitzine Vineyard" Red Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (98JD, 98RP, 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Ever so rarely, you experience a wine that takes you on a journey. Flirting with perfection, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Galitzine Vineyard rushes out the glass like a rollercoaster, with an array of fruit, earth and oak aromas. With just enough volatility to lift you out of your seat, yet supported by a lap-bar of energetic acidity to keep it firm and tight, the wine banks into the first turn, expressing fresh, heady aromas of Chambord, cocoa nibs, baked earth and resinous purple flowers, then elements of baking spices cascade across the nose. Full-bodied and riding through a loop, the palate opens to chocolate-covered blueberries and crème de cassis, before exploding through a kaleidoscope of black and blue-fruited goodness. Bid on this 2-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2010 Cayuse "Armada Vineyard" Walla Walla Valley Syrah ((95-97JD), 97RP, 97WE, 95ST, 93WS) and 1-bottle of 2014 Cayuse "Armada Vineyard" Walla Walla Valley Syrah (99RP, 94VN, 93DC, 93WE, 92WS). Of the 2014 Cayuse "Armada Vineyard" Walla Walla Valley Syrah, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "From the highest density vineyard planted under the Cayuse label, the 489-case 2014 Syrah Armada Vineyard is about as umami and earthy as it gets. Smoke, fireplace, mushroom, black cherry, currants and olive notes all emerge from this rich, backward, tight and structured Syrah that has incredible purity of fruit, a saline/bloody, meaty character that develops with time in the glass, and tons of tannic bite on the finish. Forget this incredible wine for 4-5 years and enjoy over the following two decades. (JD) 99+" (06/2017)
