The Gurashvili Family Winery goes back generations and is currently helmed by Zura Gurashvili. Using the traditional low intervention style of Georgian winemaking the grapes are all hand harvested from Saperavi grown on slopes in the Khakheti region. The wine is vinified in traditional Qvevri spending about two months fermenting and macerating on the skins. The result is a luscious and fruit filled Saperavi that has the striking inky color and friendly berry filled nose that accompanies this variety. *Natural Wine*
