Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2018 Opus One Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (99JS, 98DC, 98RP, 97JD, 96VN). James Suckling: "Extremely perfumed and floral with lavender, lilacs and violets to the sweet, ripe berries, such as blackberries and blackcurrants. Some slate and graphite, too. It’s full-bodied, yet ever so balanced and refined, with super fine tannins that last for minutes. Fresh herbs, such as bay leaf and lemon grass highlight the dark fruit. The quality of tannin is exquisite with wonderful polish and refinement. Lasts for minutes. So wonderful to taste now, but better after 2026." (11/2021)
Starting Bid: $551.26

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2011 Ilaria Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Anna Monticelli is behind the Ilaria label—small production boutique wines from the heart of Napa Valley. The Cabernet Sauvignon is both a blend of prestigious sites as well as grapes, primarily Cabernet Sauvignon with smaller qualities of Malbec, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. The wine is aged in mostly new French oak for a period of nearly 2 years prior to release.
Starting Bid: $14.51

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 V12 "Premier Napa Valley - Twelve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Founded by the Vasser family (Jimmy Vasser, Jr. a former IndyCar champ) the estate is located on property previously dedicated to the Mondavi family's chicken farm. Grapes come from the estate's four vineyard blocks on the eastern side of Napa. This special bottling was made for the annual Napa Valley Premier auction.
Starting Bid: $200.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2019 Realm "The Bard" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (99JD, 97RP, 96VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2019 The Bard checks in as 81% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Merlot, and the rest Petit Verdot, and it’s another dense, rich, powerful wine from this team that readers are going to absolutely love. Coming from throughout the valley (it’s always a great representation of the vintage), it offers up a brilliant nose of crème de cassis, ripe plums, graphite, scorched earth, and chocolate. About as seamless as they come on the palate, it’s full-bodied and has a thrilling texture, building tannins, and a gorgeous finish. It’s one of those wines where I feel like I’m overusing adjectives, but it’s warranted." (09/2021)
Starting Bid: $220.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1973 Heitz Cellars "Martha's Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (high shoulder, lighlty soiled label) (95JG, 90RP). John Gilman: "The deep and utterly classic nose offers up scents of red and black cherries, petroleum jelly, fresh mint, chipotle peppers, spice tones, a beautiful base of soil and a nice touch of nutskins in the upper register. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and absolutely à point, with a silky palate impression, lovely intensity of flavor, lovely complexity and stunning length and grip on the perfectly focused and dancing finish. The ’73 Martha’s Vineyard will not last anywhere near as long as wines such as the 1974 or 1975, but it still has plenty of life in it and will continue to dazzle for decades to come. Just a beautiful bottle of wine. " (05/2011)
Starting Bid: $520.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2017 Vangone "Block B" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon . A funny story related to the development of this new property lent its name to this relatively new estate: A van was found abandoned on the property teeming with a recently legalized controlled substance, and was mysteriously "vangone" the day after according to one of the vineyard workers. There are two blocks, B and D, bottled singularly or together according to the vintage. Aged 30 months in 100% new French oak.
Starting Bid: $450.00

Bid on this bottle of 2013 Frank Family "Winston Hill" Rutherford Bordeaux Blend (96RP, 95CG, 93WE, 92VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Winston Hill, which comes from a 25-acre parcel on their larger estate was named after their English Springer Spaniel who is pictured on the label. The wine was aged 21 months in 75% new French oak, and is a blend of 89% Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot. The color is a deep ruby purple, and the wine reveals beautiful pure creme de cassis, black raspberry fruit, and a full-bodied mouthfeel. It has wonderful elegance combined with intensity, power and authority. This is a beauty, and a world-class Cabernet Sauvignon to drink over the next 25-30 years. (RP)" (12/2015)
Starting Bid: $105.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1995 Dominus Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (94DC, 93RP, 93ST). Decanter: "The 1995 Dominus is very much cut from the same cloth as the 1994, with a deep bouquet of baked black cherry, cassis, truffle and rich loamy soil, and a full-bodied, powerful and rather old-school palate impression. As in the 1994, there is just a touch of torrefection in the fruit tones here which the Dominus team have worked hard to avoid in more recent vintages, but this is a very compelling wine which certainly does nod towards Libourne. (WK)" (11/2016)
Starting Bid: $440.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Dehlinger "Estate" Russian River Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (93RP, 90ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Even more impressive is the 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate. Its opaque purple color is followed by abundant notes of sweet cassis, fruitcake and earth. Massive, powerful, rich, concentrated and long, it is still primary, but reveals impressive potential. This 2007 should hit its peak in 5-6 years and last for two decades or more. 93+ (RP)" (02/2011)
Starting Bid: $100.00

Bid on this bottle of 1964 Inglenook "Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. A notable vintage in that 1964 was the year John Daniel Jr -- great nephew of founder Gustave Niebaum -- sold Inglenook, and the historic estate's post-Prohibition run of greatness came to an end. James Laube of the Wine Spectator tasted 29 wines from this era, 1933 to 1964, and reported the wines of the 1960s were of uniform quality between 87 and 90 points. "In this past year, I've had the opportunity to taste most of the great vintages from BV, and even the best wines of the same period from that esteemed winery do not match the Inglenooks in quality. Even if you took the top 25 bottlings of wines such as Heitz Martha's Vineyard, Phelps Eisele or Insignia, Ridge Monte Bello, Beringer Private Reserve, Chateau Montelena, Stag's Leap Wine Cellars or any of Diamond Creek vineyard bottlings, and tasted them 20 or 30 years hence, I'm not sure they would rival Inglenook's." Starting Bid: $375.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Pulido Walker "Panek Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 92VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The real superstar is the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Panek Vineyard, which has an opaque purple color, a scent of pen ink, notes of blackberry, blueberry and cassis along with some subtle background vanillin and baking spices, a wonderful floral note, and an opulent, full-bodied, multi-layered mouthfeel. The finish goes on for a good 45+ seconds. This is a stunner to drink now as well as over the next 20-25 years. (RP)" (12/2015)
Starting Bid: $220.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2010 Coomber Family Ranch "Private Reserve" Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon (95WE). Wine Enthusiast: "There's good structure to this Cabernet, thanks to the firm tannins and ample acidity. But the flavors take the starring role, with raspberries, cherries, currants, mocha and cedar. It has a light, delicate mouthfeel, although there's nothing light about the taste. It's complex and ageable, so give it until 2020 to begin to come around." (07/2014)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Caymus "40th Anniversary" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "They appear to be immune to some of winedom’s less than intelligent trends and fads that we see from time to time, and the result is a spectacular 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon 40th Anniversary offering. Its dense purple/black color is followed by copious quantities of crème de cassis and blackberry fruit, silky tannins, a voluptuous texture and stunning purity as well as length. This full-bodied effort is a fabulous example of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon as well as a tribute to this amazing family. Amazing! (RP)" (10/2014)
Starting Bid: $400.00

Bid on this bottle of 1985 Stag's Leap Wine Cellars "SLV" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96VN). Vinous: "The 1985 Cabernet Sauvignon S.L.V. is simply enchanting. Mulberry, roasted chestnut, raisin, fresh fig and iodine soar from the glass, fresh as the day it was born (I expect). The palate is beautifully balanced with melted tannins that frame the fleshy red fruit that segue into dark plum and blackcurrant mixed with tar and cedar on the harmonious finish. Fabulous. (NM)" (03/2022)
Starting Bid: $170.00

Bid on this bottle of 2013 Hundred Acre "Few and Far Between" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Obviously, the Eisele Vineyard next door is a first-growth quality vineyard, and so is Jayson Woodbridge’s 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Few and Far Between. This has some Cabernet Franc (5%-15%), and spends 32 months in barrel. It is an absolutely outrageously great wine from the volcanic rocks and white volcanic ash of these soils in this northeast sector of Napa to the south of Calistoga. The finish goes on for over a minute, as this wine has layers and layers of fruit. If anything, it reminded me of a Château Latour on steroids. A magnificent example, it is one of the prodigious wines of this great vintage for Bordeaux varietals in Napa. The 2013 Few and Far Between already drinks well, but will still be reveling its purchasers 35-40 years from now. The sad thing about the Few and Far Between Vineyard is that it is only a five-acre parcel. (RP)" (10/2016)
Starting Bid: $640.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Scarecrow Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 100JD, 100RP, 98DC, 98VN) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Scarecrow is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from two acres of old vines planted in 1945 by John Daniel and dry farmed. Very deep garnet-purple colored, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon comes sashaying out of the glass with tantalizing notions of violets, lavender, Black Forest cake, mulberries, tobacco leaf and fragrant earth with a core of warm cassis, kirsch, Chinese five spice, rose hip tea and cedar chest. The palate is full-bodied and super concentrated yet possesses great energy with vibrant red and black fruits and loads of mineral accents, framed by very ripe, super fine-grained tannins and fantastic freshness, finishing very long with the most incredible perfume. Hedonistically, undeniably and deliciously perfect. (LPB)" (10/2018)
Starting Bid: $1,815.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2011 Joseph Phelps "Backus" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (95VN, (91-93RP), 93ST). Vinous: "The 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon Backus Vineyard has closed down quite a bit since it was bottled in January of this year. Lavender, white flowers, blueberry jam and spices are some of the many notes that reluctantly open up over time. Persistent and silky, the 2011 is easy to appreciate today for its overall balance, but it will be some years before all the elements fully come together. (AG) 95+" (12/2014)
Starting Bid: $255.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2018 Myriad "Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard - Elysian" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100JD, 97RP, 96VN, 93WS). Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard Elysian is another heavenly wine from this estate that shows a more elegant, seamless style with its incredible perfume of crème de cassis, graphite, white flowers, flowery incense, and unsmoked tobacco. Deep, full-bodied, and concentrated, it offers building tannins, no hard edges, and a great finish. About as seamless as they come, with ultra-fine tannins and flawless balance, this heavenly, seamless, magical wine will benefit from short-term cellaring and keep for 40 years or more. " (08/2020)
Starting Bid: $330.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2018 Rivers-Marie "Herb Lamb Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (99JD, 98VN, 96RP). Jeb Dunnuck: "Lastly, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Herb Lamb Vineyard is a true superstar in the vintage and reminds me of a great vintage of Château Margaux with its exotic bouquet of blue fruits, sandalwood, spring flowers, menthol, and lead pencil shavings. These all carry to a powerful, full-bodied 2018 with a weightless texture, building tannins, flawless balance, and a gorgeous finish. It's not a wine that hits you over the head with fruit, but it builds incrementally on the palate and has perfect balance as well as the class and depth to benefit from 4-5 years of bottle age and keep for 25-30 years." (01/2021)
Starting Bid: $420.00

Bid on this bottle of 2011 Amuse Bouche Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (92ST). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Bright ruby-red. Aromas of black raspberry, coffee bean, smoke and chocolate mint. Nicely concentrated and suave, with very good smoky intensity to the currant, herb, cherry and floral flavors. This savory, vinous wine boasts a restrained sweetness nicely leavened by harmonious acidity. Finishes with smooth tannins and excellent length. Balanced to age but already very easy to drink. (ST)" (05/2014)
Starting Bid: $115.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Pulido Walker "Panek Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Panek Vineyard is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon (clones 6, 7 and 169) from a vineyard situated near the well-known Vineyard 29, on a hillside near the Markham Winery north of St. Helena. A classic 2012 – dramatic and flamboyant – with blackberry and cassis fruit intermixed with melted licorice, white chocolate, espresso roast and a touch of wood. Full-bodied, deliciously round and succulent, it is a hedonistic concoction of yummy fruit, glycerin and silky tannins. Consume it over the next 10-15 years. (RP)" (10/2014)
Starting Bid: $225.00

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2015 Blankiet "Prince of Hearts" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (94RP, 92VN, 91JD). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Medium garnet-purple colored, the 2015 Prince of Hearts Paradise Hills Vineyard (a Bordeaux blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc) features exuberant red and black currant notes with a very sexy undercurrent of potpourri, violets, cedar chest and cinnamon stick. The open, inviting medium-bodied palate features approachably soft tannins and is packed with vibrant red and black fruit flavors, finishing on a spicy note. (LPB)" (10/2017)
Starting Bid: $300.00

Bid on this bottle of 2013 Arkenstone "Obsidian" Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, 97DC, 95JS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Obsidian (625 cases) is a similar but slightly different blend than its predecessor (72% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc, 7% Petit Verdot, and the rest small portions of Malbec and Merlot). It has an opaque purple color and a stunning nose of acacia flowers, blackberries, licorice, forest floor, mocha/chocolate, and gobs of cassis fruit. Great intensity, a full-bodied, multi-layered mouthfeel, stunning purity, and a length of 45+ seconds make for an exquisite, full-throttle, yet beautifully intense Napa Cabernet Sauvignon that should dink well for 20-30 years. (RP) 98+" (12/2015)
Starting Bid: $130.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2015 Vangone "Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97RP, 94JD). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from a vineyard south of Pritchard Hill overlooking Oakville Cross Road, aged for 30 months in 100% new French oak. Very deep purple-black in color, it sings of fragrant blackcurrants, wild blueberries and black cherries with touches of Indian spices, menthol, chocolate box and violets plus a touch of smoked meats. The palate is full, rich, concentrated and seductive, with a firm yet velvety structure and seamless freshness, finishing long and spicy. (LPB)" (10/2018)
Starting Bid: $250.00

Bid on this bottle of 2019 Carter "Los Compadres - Beckstoffer Las Piedras Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97JD). Jeb Dunnuck: "This 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Los Compadres showed brilliantly, with a deep, saturated purple color as well as a stunning bouquet of blue fruits, light gunpowder, crushed stone, and lead pencil. It gains even more intensity with air and is full-bodied on the palate, seamless, elegant, and just brilliant any way you look at it. It has plenty of up-front appeal yet enough tannins to benefit from 2-4 years of bottle age and is unquestionably going to have two decades of prime drinking. 97+" (12/2021)
Starting Bid: $200.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2017 Vice Versa "Beckstoffer Las Piedras Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95JD, 92RP). Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Las Piedras comes from a rocky vineyard that normally yields a more elegant, floral wine compared to the Dr. Crane Vineyard, which is just a stone’s throw away. Deep purple-hued with notes of blackcurrants, toasted spice, flowery incense, and cigar tobacco, this rock star of a wine hits the palate with full-bodied richness, a lush, opulent texture, ripe tannins, and a great, great finish. 95+" (01/2020)
Starting Bid: $420.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2011 Spottswoode "Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96VN, 95RP, 94JD). Vinous: "I have tasted the 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon enough to longer be surprised at how well it shows next to the vintages that surround it. Perfumed and floral, with striking nuance, the 2011 is exceptionally beautiful. Lavender, menthol and sweet red cherry are all laced throughout. Because of the cold, rainy conditions, the 2011 is naturally a bit more floral and savory than the norm, but it also has more than enough fruit and overall depth to balance things out. Once again, Spottswoode's 2011 is exquisitely beautiful. (AG)" (12/2018)
Starting Bid: $180.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2016 Vangone "Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97RP, 96JD). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This relatively new label gets nearly three years in barrel, so this 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon is the current release. It is made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon and was aged in 100% new French oak barrels for 30 months. Deep garnet-purple in color, the nose gives up bombastic scents of crème de cassis, blueberry preserves and blackberry pie with touches of menthol, truffles, crushed rocks and iron ore plus a waft of mossy tree bark. Full-bodied, rich, concentrated and packed with savory-laced black fruit layers, it is framed by grainy tannins and seamless freshness, finishing long. (LPB)" (01/2021)
Starting Bid: $260.00

Bid on this bottle of 2010 Dunn Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (98JS, 98VN, 95RP, 94ST). Vinous: "There's not much to say about Randy Dunn's 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain that I haven't already said or written. A classic Howell Mountain Cabernet, the 2010 hits the palate with scents of graphite, pencil shavings, inky blue/purplish fruit, sage and spices, all backed up with swaths of broad yet impeccably balanced tannins. What a fascinating contrast it is to taste this next to David Abreu's Thorevilos as we round out the evening. The Dunn is powerful, structured and incisive, with magnificent expression of site and fabulous overall balance. Dunn’s 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain will go down as one of the great wines of this vintage. Readers have to be patient, but there is no question the 2010 is a real stunner. Knowing how hard it will be to wait, I expect the 2010 will start to open up around age ten. (AG) 98+" (06/2015)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this bottle of 2001 Heitz Cellar Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Wine Spectator: "An elegant, supple style, with moderately rich currant, spice, cedar and herb flavors. (JL)" (11/2006)
Starting Bid: $64.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2014 Scarecrow Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 100JD, 100RP, 96VN, 95WS) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The utterly perfect 2014 Scarecrow Cabernet Sauvignon (1, 500 cases) has everything one could possibly want in a Cabernet. Inky purple-colored to the rim, with a glorious nose of white flowers, crème de cassis, hints of blackberry and boysenberry, some licorice and forest floor are followed by an enormously concentrated wine with fabulous purity, a skyscraper-like mid-palate and texture, a length of nearly a minute, and stunning flavors, with flawless integration of acidity, tannin, wood and alcohol. This is a great, great wine and certainly one of the Cabernet Sauvignons of this vintage. (RP)" (12/2016)

Bid on this bottle of 2010 Spottswoode "Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100JD, 100RP, 97DC, 96VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Deep garnet colored, the 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon features a very purely fruited nose of wild blueberries, crushed cherries and blackcurrant pastilles with touches of dried herbs, tobacco leaf, dried roses and eucalyptus plus a hint of espresso. Medium-bodied, the palate has a compelling grip of firm, grainy tannins and plenty of savory/earthy layers, finishing on a delicious yeasty/meaty note. (LPB)" (10/2018)
Starting Bid: $220.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2006 Sloan Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (OWC - 98RP, 97WS) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2006 is performing even better from bottle than it did from barrel. Sloan and McClellan decided to bottle it later than usual, recognizing the rugged, tough tannins of the vintage could be sweetened up with longer barrel aging. Their strategy worked. The wine’s dense ruby/purple color is followed by notes of white chocolate, burning embers, creme de cassis, coffee, and scorched earth (think Haut-Brion or La Mission Haut-Brion). It possesses terrific structure, melted, well-integrated tannins, full body, and is already bursting with complexity. A great success, it is one of the vintage’s most thrilling wines. (RP) 98+" (12/2009)
Starting Bid: $775.00

Bid on this bottle of 1998 Screaming Eagle Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94RP, 92WS, 91ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1998 Cabernet Sauvignon, which was bottled in late June, has turned out even better that I thought last year. It boasts a saturated ruby/purple color in addition to an expressive bouquet of cassis, minerals, and smoke. This multi-textured, round wine exhibits sweet, well-integrated tannin, a great mid-palate and finish, as well as spectacular purity and palate presence. (RP)" (12/2000)
Starting Bid: $2,938.88

Bid on this bottle of 2013 Christopher Tynan Wines "Meleagris Gallopavo Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100JD, 100RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Even for someone who has been doing this for thirty-eight years, there are times when you taste something that sort of breaks through all preconceived notions and reference points. I knew Christopher Tynan as a winemaker for Cliff Lede, but this is his wine, and it is outrageously spectacular and incredibly singular and special. The wine is extraordinary. Of course, it comes from a great vintage for Bordeaux varieties in Napa – 2013. This is a killer effort. A singular, profound and majestic Cabernet Sauvignon from what is called old vines, which can mean anything from 25 to 125 years old. (RP)" (12/2016)
Starting Bid: $800.00

Of the 2001 Shafer "Hillside Select" Stag's Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon , Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "The 2001 Shafer Cabernet Sauvignon Hillside Select is the first of these back-to-back perfect wines from Shafer that, at age 13, is still a baby, but, wow, what an amazing wine. A fabulous growing season produced a wine with inky/purple black color, stunning crème de cassis notes, with additional hints of lead pencil shavings, spring flowers, cedar wood and forest floor. (RP)" (12/2014)

Bid on this 3-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 1997 Caymus Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (91WE, 90CG), 1-bottle of 1998 Caymus Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (91WS), and 1-bottle of 1999 Caymus Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (93WE, 92WS). Of the 1999 Caymus Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, Wine Enthusiast writes: "Dense, dark and deep--it’s the three Ds of Napa Cabernet on full display. Aromas of plumcake and bacon get it going, followed by kirsch and blueberry flavors. The smoky, woody finish has essences of campfire, chocolate and espresso. This packs a ton of flavor and it’s highly recommended for fans of powerful California wines. (MS)" (11/2002)

Bid on this bottle of 2014 Morlet "Coeur de Vallée" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (97JD, 96RP, 94JS, 93VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "From a valley floor site beside To Kalon, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Coeur de Vallée (76% Cabernet Sauvignon and 24% Cabernet Franc) boasts an incredibly sexy, full-bodied, thrillingly textured profile as well as to-die-for notes of blueberries, black cherries, dried herbs, and flowers. This powerful, blockbuster-styled beauty checks in near the top of the vintage, and while already drinking beautifully, it will keep for 15-20 years." (06/2018)
Starting Bid: $120.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1997 Dalla Valle "Maya" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (99RP, 95ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Close to perfection, the saturated blue/black-colored 1997 Maya exhibits complex aromatics of crème de cassis, smoke, spice box, iron, and espresso. The wine has a viscous texture, huge, concentrated, ripe fruit, remarkable body, and a seamless, multi-layered finish. The tannin, acidity, and alcohol are all beautifully integrated. This is profound stuff! (RP)" (12/2000)
Starting Bid: $700.00

Bid on this bottle of 2015 Levy & McClellan Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (OWC - (97-99RP), 94VN) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Medium to deep garnet-purple colored, the 2015 Proprietary Red is simply singing on the nose, revealing fragrant red and black currant notes plus hints of cinnamon stick, lavender, garrigue, forest floor and pencil shavings. The medium to full-bodied, delicately played palate is wonderfully spicy, with a quiet sophistication and decadence about it, sporting ripe, velvety tannins and seamless freshness, finishing with exotic undertones. Very classy wine! This was tasted as a barrel sample. (LPB)" (10/2017)
Starting Bid: $460.00

Bid on this bottle of 2017 Realm "Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97JD, 97JS, 97RP, 95VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "'We had half the fruit in at To Kalon when the fires hit in 2017, ' winemaker Benoit Touquette informed me. 'That's all we used.' Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard prances out of the glass with classically opulent scents of crème de cassis, baked plums, Morello cherries and mulberries plus nuances of rose oil, spice cake, bouquet garni and dusty soil. Full-bodied, the palate is decadently showy with loads of exotic spice and floral accents lifting the rich, black fruit preserves flavors. It has a well-judged, solid frame of grainy tannins and bold freshness, finishing very long and wonderfully earthy. (LPB) 97+" (10/2020)
Starting Bid: $350.00

Bid on this bottle of 2013 Paul Hobbs "Beckstoffer To Kalon" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (100JS, 100RP, 96VN, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The second perfect score I have given to a Hobbs Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon (the other was the 2002), the 2013 is as spectacular as his 2002 was. There are 638 cases of this massive wine that comes across like a first-growth Pauillac. Lead pencil shavings, cedar wood, blueberry and blackberry liqueur as well as hints of forest floor and tobacco leaf are all present in this fragrant, sumptuously textured, full-bodied, massively rich yet sensationally well-balanced Cabernet Sauvignon. It has a finish of well over 55 seconds. This is amazing work, and interestingly, I believe Hobbs was the first to offer a Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard designated Cabernet Sauvignon. (RP)" (03/2016)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1974 Château Montelena Sonoma Cabernet Sauvignon (91RP, 90DC, 90JG). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A blend of three Sonoma appellations at the time. Medium to deep brick colored, the 1974 Cabernet Sauvignon Sonoma opens with tons of spice box, potpourri, incense, leather and menthol notes with a touch of truffles. Medium-bodied, the palate is laden with layers of spices and powdery tannins, with a wicked acid backbone giving lift to the long, earthy finish. (LPB)" (02/2018)

Bid on this bottle of 2017 Realm "Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98JD, 98JS, 98RP, 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr Crane Vineyard does not disappoint. Deep garnet-purple colored, it flies out of the glass with gregarious scents of black cherries, blueberries and boysenberries plus hints of potpourri, sandalwood, Chinese five spice, cast-iron pan and fragrant earth. Characteristically full-bodied, rich and full-on seductive, the palate is packed with generous, perfumed black fruits, supported by firm, ripe tannins and well-knit freshness, finishing mineral-laced and with epic persistence. Bid on this bottle of 2014 Beringer "Private Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96JD, 95JS, 95RP, 94VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "The flagship is the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Private Reserve and it's a blend of 97% Cabernet Sauvignon and the balance Petit Verdot and Malbec that’s mostly from Howell Mountain, with small lots from St Helena, Spring Mountain, Mount Veeder, and Calistoga. Aged 20 months in 82% new French oak, it sports an inky, opaque color to go with killer notes of blackcurrants, scorched earth, hints of oak, graphite and minerality. Rich, full-bodied and beautifully concentrated, it's tight and backward, and is more reminiscent of a 2013 than a 2014. It has the purity to drink nicely today, yet needs 4-5 years of cellaring to show its potential." (12/2017)
Starting Bid: $80.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2018 MacDonald Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (99JD, 98WS, 97VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "Flirting with perfection, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon from this tiny family estate shows the pure, elegant, yet concentrated style of this vintage to a T. Darker currants, cassis, olives, violets, and spring flower notes all flow to a full-bodied, concentrated, ultra-classic, flawlessly balanced Cabernet. The tannins are present yet polished, it has wonderfully integrated acidity, and is one of those wines that keeps you coming back to the glass. Count yourself lucky if you’re able to snag any bottles. It will ideally be given 4-6 years of bottle age and it’s going to evolve for 20-25 years or more." (01/2021)
Starting Bid: $1,650.00

Bid on this bottle of 2007 Abreu "Madrona Ranch" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, 97VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Deep garnet in color with a lingering touch of purple, the 2007 Madrona Ranch Proprietary Red has a truly profound nose—wood smoke, beef drippings, licorice, black soil and truffles—over a core of blackberry preserves and Black Forest cake with black pepper, cinnamon stick, potpourri and dried mint nuances. Still very primary, the full-bodied palate is built like a brick house, with firm, ripe, grainy tannins and plenty of freshness, finishing with epic length and on a compelling mineral note. Starting Bid: $341.00

Bid on this bottle of 2005 Opus One Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (96DC, 96WS, 95RP, 93VN, 92JS). Wine Spectator: "From a long, moderate growing season, according to Silacci, this is fully formed, with gently mulled cassis and cherry preserve flavors that move slowly, yielding hints of savory and iron along the way. A broad swath of tannins emerges on the loamy finish, keeping this firmly grounded in terroir. Gorgeous. (JM)" (11/2019)

Bid on this bottle of 2016 Schrader "Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (99JD, 98RP, 96WS). Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard Schrader (aka Schrader Schrader) is another just about perfect wine from this unstoppable team at Schrader, which is lead by Thomas Rivers Brown. As with all these releases, it’s 100% Cabernet Sauvignon and spent 20 months in 75% new Darnajou barrels and 25% new Taransaud barrels. Deep purple-colored, with a mammoth bouquet of blue fruits, liquid violets, camphor, and incense along with hints of oak and graphite, it’s full-bodied, uber-rich and concentrated, yet also elegant and seamless. It’s a rock star bottle of wine." (01/2019)

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Vineyard 29 "29 Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, (94-96ST), 92VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Stunning, but a more classic and elegant wine without any of the scorched earth , Graves-like character of the Aida Vineyard is the classic 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon 29 Estate. This is a fabulous property on the lower hillsides of the Mayacamas Mountains. A blend of 96% Cabernet Sauvignon and 4% Petit Verdot aged in 100% new French oak, the 2012 is inky purple, with a gorgeous nose of lead pencil shavings, spring flowers, blackberry and blueberry fruit, cedar wood and baking spices. Dense, multi-layered, full-bodied and beautifully pure, this is a stunner to drink over the next 20-25 years." (10/2014)
