Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Hall "Kathryn Hall" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97RP, 95WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Kathryn Hall is largely sourced from their Sacrashe Vineyard. The color is dense ruby/purple. The wine is very young, and less evolved than many of its peers, but bursting with potential. Lots of blueberry and black raspberry fruit with a hint of mocha and background oak are all present in this full-bodied, opulent, absolutely spectacular Cabernet Sauvignon. This is a long-distance runner, although not so much because of the tannic structure, because the fruit seems younger and more primary than some of its siblings. Nevertheless, it is loaded with potential promise, and as Kathryn Hall says so frequently, 'Magic.' This full-bodied, classic Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa should hit its prime in 4-5 years and last at least two decades or more. (RP) 97+" (10/2014)
Starting Bid: $247.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2004 Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, 95ST, 95WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Also offering off-the-charts richness, with a flamboyant, hedonistic profile, the 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon (96% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Merlot and 1% Cabernet Franc) possesses spice-laced aromas and flavors of cassis, smoke tobacco, roasted meats, dried licorice and wild herbs that are to die for. Full-bodied, incredibly layered, rich and textured it has no hard edges, masses of tannin and a finish that won’t quit. I’ve been lucky enough to taste this cuvée three times (rated 96 and 97) in the past handful of weeks and this was the best showing yet. From a cool vintage, it is still youthful and vibrant, and will continue to shine for another 15+ years. Drink now-2028. (JD)" (06/2013)
Starting Bid: $360.00

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Robert Mondavi "To Kalon Vineyard" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon". This is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from the famed To Kalon Vineyard. Vineyard notes from the winery: "When Robert Mondavi chose the To Kalon Vineyard as the home for his new winery in 1966 he remarked that 'It was a vineyard with a distinguished history and a magical nature. Ideal soils, sunlight, and rain—to my eye, the vineyard was a treasure.' Those sentiments were re-confirmed when the To Kalon Vineyard was named ‘Vineyard of the Year’ by the California State Farm Bureau, and the site continues to hold a special grand cru status in the Napa Valley. The To Kalon Vineyard lies in west Oakville where the low fertility, well-drained soils combine with optimal sun exposure to yield rich, complex flavors and impeccable fruit maturity."
Starting Bid: $160.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Silver Oak Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (90DC). Decanter: "Though considered a rich, exceptional vintage from the beginning, many wines now taste soft and mushy. Not this one - it has verve and an almost volcanic character along with bright red fruit notes and a long finish. Duncan puts its precision down to their adoption of berry sensory analysis. Like other ripe vintages, the sweetness of the fruit is almost too much. (EM)" (09/2019)
Starting Bid: $100.00

Bid on this bottle of 2018 Chappellet "Pritchard Hill" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98JD, 98RP, 96DC, 96JS, 96VN, 95WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Pritchard Hill is composed of 90% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Petit Verdot. It was aged in 100% new French oak for 22 months. The alcohol weighed in at 14.5%. Deep garnet-purple in color, it charges out of the gate with bold expressions of warm cassis, wild blueberries and black raspberries, plus hints of chocolate box, menthol, tapenade, smoked meats and pencil lead. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is bursting with vibrant black fruits, framed by fantastically ripe, fine-grained tannins and lovely freshness, finishing long and mineral laced. Chappellet has done an amazing job with capturing the spirit of this bright, vibrant vintage. These wines absolutely shimmer with energy! (LPB) 98+" (11/2020)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2014 Kapcsándy "Estate Cuvée - State Lane Vineyard" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (97JD, 96JS, 95VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "From a vintage loved by the estate (they consider 2015 more California in style and 2014 more Bordeaux-like), the 2014 Estate Cuvee State Lane Vineyard is another beautiful wine from Kapcsandy. A blend of 72% Cabernet Sauvignon, 19% Merlot and 9% Petit Verdot brought up in 80% new French oak, it offers an elegant, seamless style as well as classic Cabernet note of blackcurrants, spice-box, dried earth-like minerality and background oak. With full-bodied richness, ultra-fine tannin, no hard edges and a beautiful sweetness to its fruit, enjoy this beauty anytime over the coming 20 years." (12/2017)
Starting Bid: $270.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Realm "Farella Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, 97JS, 95VN, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "From the southeastern AVA Coombsville in the Vaca Mountains, the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Farella Vineyard is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from white tufa and decomposed red volcanic sedimentary soils. For whatever reason, it seems that people who buy from this vineyard make better wine than the actual owners, which I'm sad to say, is not exactly what proprietors Tom and Frank Farella would like to hear. This is a terrific Cabernet Sauvignon made from clones 4 and 8, offering a rich nose of blackberries, dark earth, a touch of barrique, and some baking spices. The wine is rich, full-bodied, tannic and backward. Deep and super-concentrated, it needs another 2-3 years of cellaring, but should last another 25-30 years. (RP)" (12/2015)
Starting Bid: $320.00

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Abreu "Las Posadas" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (99RP, 97JS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Las Posadas Proprietary Red is a massive fruit bomb from that high-elevation vineyard. Forest floor, floral notes, lead pencil shavings, licorice, fruitcake, cedar wood and oodles of black fruits soar from the glass and from the palate of this full-bodied, majestic, multi-layered wine. Like most 2012s, it is really strutting it’s stuff. It is still obviously young, but dramatic and flamboyant. This sensational wine should age effortlessly for 25-30+ years. Drink through 2045. (RP)" (10/2015)
Starting Bid: $290.00

Bid on this bottle of 2010 Philip Togni "Estate" Spring Mountain District Cabernet Sauvignon (98VN, 95RP, 95ST, 93JG). Vinous: "What a thrill it is to revisit the 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate, a wine that has delivered on all the potential I sensed back when I first tasted it from barrel nearly a decade ago. Time flies. In the glass, the 2010 is dark, heady and rich, with striking aromatic nuance and tons of complexity. Unctuous dark fruit, grilled herbs, cloves and licorice build into the intense, exotic finish. It is a classic Philip Togni wine at its first plateau of maturity. In 2010 the harvest took place entirely in October. Because of the cold growing season, the crop was thinned significantly in order to allow for the fruit to ripen. Yields were down approximately 50%. (AG)" (02/2021)
Starting Bid: $115.00

Bid on this bottle of 2000 Dunn Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (93JS). James Suckling: "Earthy and meaty with black currant, spice and hints of stones. Full-bodied, chewy and flavorful. Holding on well. Tastes like Pauillac." (06/2016)
Starting Bid: $103.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2016 Heitz Cellar "Lot C-91" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96JS, 93WS). James Suckling: "Blue fruit with stone, lavender and currant aromas and flavors. Fresh herbs too. Medium-bodied with ultra-fine tannins. Such firmness and focus and beauty. A blend of all their top single vineyards. Drink or hold." (11/2021)
Starting Bid: $420.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2003 Caymus Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94WE, 93WS, 92RP). Wine Enthusiast: "This extraordinary wine possesses an enormous wealth of black cherry, blueberry, cassis and espresso flavors, wrapped in fine, well-toasted oak. Has that rare quality of elegance, in which all the parts work together in harmony. Thoroughly dry, it’s marked by a firm, astringent tannic structure now, but is a certain cellar candidate. *Cellar Selection* " (06/2006)
Starting Bid: $270.00

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2017 Venge "Bone Ash Vineyard" Calistoga Cabernet Sauvignon (95WE, 92JD). Wine Enthusiast: "This is a 100% varietal and estate-farmed wine, unabashedly rich, ripe and luxurious in approach. Spicy tar and leather lead to an explosive midpalate of wild berry, cocoa powder and graphite, with a tight texture of firm tannins. The opulence doesn't detract from the structure. It will do well in the cellar. *Cellar Selection* (VB)" (05/2020)
Starting Bid: $375.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Chateau Boswell "Premier Napa Valley - Green eNVy" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon. Winemaker Russel Bevan created 5 cases of this wine for the 2015 Premiere Napa Valley Auction. This powerful Cabernet Sauvignon was sourced from Tench and Two Dog vineyards, whole-berry fermented in new Taransaud French oak puncheons and aged 17 months in 100% new French oak barrels. Notes from the producer: "You’ll be Green with eNVy if you miss out on this extraordinary wine. Winemaker Russell Bevan has created a blend of Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot, with that certain something, that certain je nes sais quoi, that only comes from a combination of fantastic fruit, stewardship, pride of place, and conscienscious farming and winemaking, and maybe, just maybe, magic. Other wine producing regions will be Green with eNVy when they see that Napa Valley’s finest wines go hand in hand with our ongoing history of stewardship of this beautiful valley."
Starting Bid: $200.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2019 Ovid Experiment B5.9 Napa Valley Red Wine. Sourced from Ovid's Block 5, which was planted in 2000 and grows in volcanic clay loam soil, Experiment B5.9 consists of a blend of 64% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Cabernet Franc, 13% Merlot, and 3% Petit Verdot.
Starting Bid: $625.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2011 Opus One Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (94DC, 94VN, 92JS, 92WS). Vinous: "The 2011 Opus One comes across as quite powerful and intense. Raspberry jam, rose petals, savory herbs and mint, all come together beautifully in the glass. The tannins are going to need a few years to soften, but the 2011 continues to develop very nicely in bottle. This is a very strong showing, especially within the context of the year. The 2011 is dark and even a bit rough round the edges, particularly when tasted alongside the surrounding vintages. The lithe, mid-weight, savory style is at times more Old World than New, yet all the elements are in the right place. (AG)" (12/2014)
Starting Bid: $1,440.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2015 Joseph Phelps Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (93JD, 93JS, 91CG, 91RP, 91WE). James Suckling: "Lots of burnt orange with currant and dust undertones. Some rose petal, too. Full body, chewy and tannic with lots of tension and intensity. Needs two or three years to soften but already a very impressive wine for the vintage." (12/2017)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2004 Caymus Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95WE, 92RP, 92WS, 90CG, 90W&S). Wine Enthusiast: "Here’s an extraordinary wine to add to your cellar collection. It’s a guaranteed ager. Supported by rich, sturdy tannins, it shows a firm, dry mouthfeel and deep flavors of blackberries, with a seamless hem of toasty oak. So balanced, so powerful and elegant, it’s at the top of its class, and proves that the floor of the Napa Valley can produce great Cabernet. *Cellar Selection*" (02/2007)
Starting Bid: $320.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2015 Myriad Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (93JS, 91RP). James Suckling: "A layered and rich red with stone and blackberry. Black licorice, too, as well as some fresh herbs. Full body and a flavorful finish. Just a baby. Shows tension and energy." (12/2017)
Starting Bid: $100.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2019 Bryant Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98JD, 97VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "More backward and concentrated, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon reveals a dense purple/plum hue as well as a stunning nose of blackcurrants, unsmoked tobacco, lead pencil, and dried herbs. It's rich and full-bodied on the palate, has a wonderfully rounded, textured mouthfeel, loads of Cabernet character, ripe tannins, and a great finish. This is pure class in Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. It has some up-front charm (as do most 2019s) yet will benefit from 4-5 years of bottle age and cruise for 20-25 years if stored properly." (12/2021)
Starting Bid: $1,200.00

Bid on this bottle of 2018 Realm "Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98JD, 98JS, 98RP, 97VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Deep garnet-purple colored, it rolls sensuously out of the glass with decadent scents of boysenberries, black cherries, redcurrant jelly and blackcurrant pastilles with hints of bouquet garni, black soil and iron ore. Full-bodied, the taut, tightly knit black and red fruit has a firm structure of ripe, grainy tannins and bags of freshness, finishing very long with loads of earth and mineral nuances coming through. (LPB) 98+" (10/2020)
Starting Bid: $350.00

Bid on this bottle of 2009 Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98DC, 98WE, 97RP, 96WS, 95ST). Wine Enthusiast: "A bold, muscular, striking wine with nerves of steel, this offers a dense, demanding array of black fruit threaded with veins of espresso, smoke, tar, tobacco and iron. As it bursts with exotic barrel flavor, the fruit seems a bit buried, but time after time these wines unfold over the course of decades into glorious maturity. These are arguably the most long-lived and cellarworthy wines in Washington if not in the entire country. *Cellar Selection* (PG)" (09/2012)
Starting Bid: $125.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2011 Hiatus Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Miniscule case production from a boutique winery lead by proprietor Mark Davidowski and crafted by a team of winemakers who each bring their own experiences to the range of wines produced. Starting Bid: $60.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Dominus Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (100DC, 100JS, 100RP, 100VN). Vinous: "The 2013 Dominus overwhelms all the senses with its magnificent overall balance and towering intensity. Deep and nearly impenetrable in the glass, the 2013 boasts off the charts dry extract and overall power. Violets, smoke, black cherries, menthol, incense, crème de cassis and dark spices are some of the many signatures that take shape in the glass. Even better in bottle than it was in barrel, the 2013 is utterly magnificent. This is a remarkably vivid, nuanced wine considering its sheer size. (AG)" (10/2015)
Starting Bid: $1,150.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2017 Robert Mondavi "To Kalon Vineyard Reserve" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (93WE, 92WS, 91RP). Wine Enthusiast: "With tiny amounts of Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc, this reserve-worthy wine is age-worthy and structured, with hugely concentrated red fruit and bursts of dried herb. Tight-grained tannins emphasize its power as underlying acidity builds on the palate to provide a hint of brightness. *Cellar Selection* (VB)" (12/2020)
Starting Bid: $170.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Peter Michael "Les Pavots" Knights Valley Bordeaux Blend (97RP, 96DC, 93JS, 93ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2007 Les Pavots, a Bordeaux varietal blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Cabernet Franc, 10% Merlot, and 3% Petit Verdot, is brilliant. Its opaque purple color is accompanied by gorgeously complex aromas of melted chocolate, espresso roast, blackberries, and cassis. Full-bodied with a superb texture, a subtle note of oak, and fabulous concentration, it is more reminiscent of a Right Bank Bordeaux than one expects with this much Cabernet Sauvignon in the blend. A thirty-year wine, its impeccable balance and the sweetness of its tannins make it accessible already. (RP)" (02/2010)
Starting Bid: $280.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2011 Kapcsándy "Grand Vin - State Lane Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95ST, 95VN, 90RP). Vinous: "Medium ruby-red; deeper than the 2011 Roberta's. Classic Cabernet Sauvignon aromas of blackcurrant, blueberry, licorice and minerals, plus a whiff of cassis bud. Densely packed but also wonderfully juicy, with its dark berry, espresso and crushed rock flavors lifted by a spice element. This comes across as sweeter than the 2011 Roberta's, with its more complete integration of acids and tannins suggesting greater phenolic ripeness. Finishes sappy and very long, with a strong licorice quality. (13.7% alcohol; 100% new French oak) (ST) 95" (06/2019)
Starting Bid: $260.00

Bid on this bottle of 2014 Realm "The Bard" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (97JD, 97JS, 95RP). James Suckling: "The aromas of oysters and peaches combine beautifully with the blackberry and blackcurrant character. Black olives, too. Full-bodied, layered and very intense with chocolate, black fruit and an intense, savory finish. Best Bard ever." (01/2017)
Starting Bid: $115.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Sullivan "Premier Napa Valley" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Founded by Jim and Joanna Sullivan in 1978, the Sullivan estate is in the heart of Rutherford. This bottling is a special cuvée created for the Premier Napa Valley auction.
Starting Bid: $300.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Ehlers Estate "1886" St. Helena Cabernet Sauvignon (93RP, 93WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "An expensive and impressive bottle is the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon 1886. This is a brilliant example of Cabernet Sauvignon showing deep ruby/purple, loads of crème de cassis, spice box and beautiful purity, the wine is full-bodied, opulent and multi-dimensional. This is a superb 2013 and the packaging is pretty amazing. Drink it over the next decade. (RP)" (12/2015)
Starting Bid: $120.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Philip Togni "Estate" Spring Mountain District Cabernet Sauvignon (98DC, 97VN, 95JD, 94RP, 94WS). Decanter: "The Togni family's 2014 reveals a beautifully complex bouquet of plum, black cherry, clove, sweet tobacco, cocoa nib and hints of mountain laurel. On the palate the tannins are very silky and refined, especially by the standards of this site, framing a wine with great concentration, depth and acid line. A supremely graceful Cabernet and a worthy successor to the profound 2013." (05/2017)
Starting Bid: $200.00

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Stag's Leap Wine Cellars "Cask 23" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 95DC, 93WE, 93WS, 91VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Cask 23 reveals more oak on the nose, but is a much deeper, richer, fuller wine than the S.L.V. Dense ruby/purple to the rim, beautiful blackberry and cassis fruit, cedar wood, toast and earth jump from the glass. Full-bodied and layered, but with nothing out of balance, this is probably the strongest Cask 23 since the glory years of the mid-80s. (RP)" (12/2015)
Starting Bid: $160.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2015 Silver Oak Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (92DC). Decanter: "Marked by drought and a warm dry summer, the year had ideal ripening conditions and the shortest harvest season ever. Low yields and small berries translated into a bold, deep-coloured Cabernet with less than 5% other Bordeaux varietals. It’s a big mouthful of ripe juicy blackberry flavours with spicy aromas and roasted brown sugar notes of American oak aging. (EM)" (09/2019)
Starting Bid: $110.00

Bid on this bottle of 2001 Abreu "Thorevilos" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (100RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2001 Thorevilos is another example of what may well be Napa Valley’s version of Ausone, and one of the single greatest vineyard sites in California. One could say this is world-class, but it’s really all-universe. A tour de force in winemaking, with notes of blueberry liqueur intermixed with subtle white chocolate, espresso roast, cassis, blackberry and perfumed, floral notes, it is full-bodied, with great flavor purity, a skyscraper-like texture, and a remarkable finish, with a seamless integration of all component parts. This is extraordinary wine that everyone who loves wine should at least taste once or twice in their lifetime. (RP)" (06/2011)
Starting Bid: $505.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2011 Lewis Cellars Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Lewis Cellars makes some of K&L's favorite Napa wines—they're always delicious, polished and fundamentally drinkable. The 2011 doesn't disappoint, with notes of black plum and currant fruit dusted with allspice and vanilla and chocolate shavings that continue from the nose to the palate, which is silky, fruit-filled and framed by refined tannins.
Starting Bid: $120.00

Bid on this 3-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2004 Cakebread "Dancing Bear" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and 2-bottles of 2007 Cakebread "Benchland Select" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94RP). Of the 2007 Cakebread "Benchland Select" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "Medium to deep garnet-brick colored, the 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Benchland Select displays pronounced plums preserves, baked blackcurrants and fried herbs notes with touches of black soil, black olives and cast iron pan. Full-bodied with a good amount of baked black fruit layers reaching a mature stage, it has a chewy frame and finishes on a persistent earthy/savory note. (LPB)" (08/2018)
Starting Bid: $185.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Ovid Experiment "C4.6" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend. Winemaker's notes: "Clone 4 Cabernet Sauvignon has a long and mysterious history here in California. It originally arrived in Napa Valley from Mendoza, Argentina in 1964. How it made its way to South America is still unclear, presumably with French winemakers who were leaving Bordeaux in the late 1800s as phylloxera was devastating the region. Arriving mislabeled as Merlot, its storied past was off to an intriguing start. Clone 4 was fairly quickly recognized as Cabernet Sauvignon and has been viewed as an excellent selection ever since. Intrigued by the mysterious combination of clone and site, we find this single selection of Cabernet offers a dense nose of fresh blackberry, cassis, black cherry, cola and dark chocolate. Rich and burnished, this particular expression is utterly delicious."
Starting Bid: $345.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2003 Silver Oak Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This 2003 reveals a distinctive herbaceousness as well as a nose of Asian spices, black cherries, black currants, spice box and loads of forest floor and underbrush scents. (RP)" (06/2013)
Starting Bid: $195.00

Bid on this bottle of 2014 Frank Family "Winston Hill" Rutherford Bordeaux Blend (96JD, 96RP, 96VN, 95CG). Vinous: "Powerful, ample and rich on the palate, Rich Frank's 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Winston Hill is super-impressive. Dark raspberry jam, wild flowers, mocha and sweet spices all take shape in an exceptionally beautiful, sumptuous Cabernet Sauvignon. The 2014 is super-ripe, dense and flamboyant. It is also one of the best wines I have ever tasted from the estate. (AG)" (12/2016)
Starting Bid: $90.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2000 Staglin "Estate" Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon (95CG, 91RP, 90WS). Connoisseurs Guide: "From its wonderfully involving cassis and tea-leaf aromas to its deep, slightly loamy, lavishly fruited flavors, this wonderfully well-filled offering stands at the head of the class in 2000. Convincingly varietal in every way, it shows a plush and supple side to start, but its firm and structured follow-through reminds that this is young Cabernet and that its very best lies some years hence. An exceptional effort, it is capable of improving for upwards of a decade and may last longer yet. *Three Stars*" (04/2004)
Starting Bid: $80.00

Bid on this bottle of 1977 Diamond Creek "Gravelly Meadow" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (91JG). John Gilman: "For a drought year wine, the 1977 Gravelly Meadow from Diamond Creek is evolving very well and is already drinking quite well in the classic, rather austere style of this fine property. Customary to the house style here, the complexity on both the nose and palate on this wine are exemplary, but it does not deliver the same core of sweet fruit found in a wine such as the ’77 Heitz Fay Vineyard for instance. But depth and complexity it has in spades, as it offers up a fine mélange of dark berries, a touch of black raspberry, stony soil tones, a bit of bell pepper, some stemmy notes, woodsmoke and a delicate topnote of violet. On the palate the wine is fullish, deep and complex, with fine mid-palate depth, still a bit of tannin to resolve and fine length and grip on the slightly austere finish. A lovely bottle in the classic Diamond Creek style. " (03/2009)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this bottle of 2018 Schrader "Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (99RP, 98JD, 98JS, 97WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This 'Schrader' label comes from Beckstoffer’s To Kalon vineyard in Oakville, produced from clone 4 grown on the C2 block. It is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon and was aged in 100% new Darnajou and Taransaud French oak barrels for 18 months. Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard has a wonderfully perfumed nose of potpourri, baking spices and dusty soil over a core of crème de cassis, blueberry pie and flamboyant Indian spices. Full-bodied, super firm with super ripe tannins and lovely freshness, it delivers layer upon layer of black fruit preserves and exotic spices, finishing long and beautifully poised. Give it a good 3-5 years in bottle to really strut its stuff and drink it over the next 30+ years. (LPB)" (12/2019)
Starting Bid: $230.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2010 Cliff Lede Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon (94RP, 91ST, 90DC, 90VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The elegance, finesse and purity of these wines are well evidenced by the 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Stag’s Leap. A blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc and 4% Petit Verdot, this beauty boasts a deep blue/purple color as well as a stunning nose of acacia flowers, blueberries and raspberries. Medium to full-bodied with an ethereal elegance and lightness as well as beautiful texture, finesse and harmony, it reveals the Margaux-like side of southern Napa. Drink it over the next 15-20 years. (RP)" (10/2013)
Starting Bid: $195.00

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2005 Silver Oak Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (92W&S, 90DC). Wine & Spirits: "A classic Alexander Valley Cabernet, this is dark and cedary, and as smooth as velvet. The tannins last, built on black cherry-skin flavor and earthy, root-vegetable notes. With time, that black cherry flavor should become more prominent, balancing the wine's earthy complexities." (03/2010)
Starting Bid: $325.00

Bid on this bottle of 2013 Hall "Kathryn Hall" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 95WE, 93CG, 93WS, 92VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Kathryn Hall from Napa is another blockbuster, exhibiting an opaque bluish purple color, notes of charcoal, graphite, blackberry, chocolate and exotic spices, a full-bodied mouthfeel, and a long, long finish. Like most 2013s, it is just hinting at its ultimate potential, but this wine is loaded and exciting. Forget it for another 4-5 years and drink it over the following three decades. (RP)" (12/2016)
Starting Bid: $120.00

Bid on this bottle of 2011 Abreu "Cappella" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (95RP, 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Finally in the bottle, the 2011 Proprietary Red Cappella is showing even better than it did from barrel last year (a common occurrence at Abreu). The 2011, which includes more Merlot than usual because of the cold growing season, reveals terrific notes of espresso roast, chocolate, forest floor, incense, and blackberry and cassis fruit. This broad, round effort is an opulent, fruit-forward, supple, luscious wine that should drink well for 10-15 years. (RP)" (10/2014)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Joseph Phelps "Backus" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (97CG, 97RP, 96JS, 96WS, 95WE, 92VN, 9ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Backus Vineyard boasts a stunningly pure nose of blueberries and blackberries with notions of toast and flowers in the background. The floral nature of the fruit only adds to the wine’s complexity. Full-bodied but civilized, this wine’s tannins can be borderline rustic, but that’s not an issue with this glorious, full-bodied, opulent 2007 Napa (RP) " (12/2010)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2016 Realm "The Bard" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (98JD, 98RP, 97JS, 95VN, 94DC, 94WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot from 21 different lots from 11 different vineyards, the 2016 The Bard is very deep purple-black in color and sashays out of the glass with strikingly beautiful violets, warm cassis, star anise and chocolate mint notes with hints of wood smoke, tobacco and kirsch, with blackberry compote at the core. Full, muscular and built like a brick house with layer upon layer of black, blue and red fruits, it finishes very long and savory. (LPB)" (10/2018)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1975 Heitz Cellar "Martha's Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (99DC, 97JG, 93VN). Decanter: "I have nothing but admiration for Heitz Cellar, and writing a profile on them this year gave me an excuse to try a number of bottles of their wines. While the 1974 Martha’s Vineyard tends to win all the attention, the 1975 also clearly ranks as one of the most thrilling Napa Cabernets produced during the 20th century, and I really like the wine’s tension and reserve. Complex aromatics of red and black fruit, cedarwood, dried rose and cocoa are followed by a powerful, beautifully balanced wine with a firm core of tannin, fruit and fresh acids. A few hours in the decanter really help this still-youthful Cabernet expatiate. To my palate, this could go head to head with the handful of great wines produced in Bordeaux in 1975 such as La Mission Haut Brion and Pétrus. (WK)" (01/2017)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2016 The Mascot Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend. The Mascot is a wine that originated as an experimental blend shared only with friends and family. Crafted by Will Harlan from younger blocks of vines at Harlan, Promontory and BOND, this wine offers a taste of Napa's most elite estates for a fraction of the price you would pay for the flagship wines. Winemaker's Notes: "This cabernet is a hedonistic blend of power and balance; expressive and approachable early in its life, with potential to evolve well into the future. Ready to drink upon release, it will age for decades given the opportunity. Made from the younger vines of Harlan Estate, BOND, and Promontory, The Mascot shares a unique glimpse into the evolution of our winegrowing estates."
