Bid on this bottle of 2002 Bond "St. Eden" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (100RP, 96WE, 95VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2002 St. Eden, which comes from a valley floor vineyard in the Oakville corridor, is unreal. I had given the 2001 a perfect score, but the 2002 (made by the brain trust of on-site winemaker Bob Levy and outside French consultant Michel Rolland) is showing incredible elements of cedarwood, licorice, chocolate and creme de cassis as well as exquisite texture, full-bodied intensity, and unbelievable purity and length. It is only the second vintage for this vineyard, leased by Bill Harlan for several decades, and it has turned out to be a killer Cabernet Sauvignon and a great classic of Napa. (RP)" (06/2012)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Spottswoode "Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (99JD, 99RP, 98JS, 97VN, 95DC, 95WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "With the lowest percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon in of any of the wines from this vertical, the 2012 final blend was 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot. Production across the board in 2012 was high, and reflected in the 3, 977 cases made at Spottswoode. This is a dramatic, flamboyant, modern-day version of the 2002. Dramatic blueberry, black raspberry and blackcurrant fruit, along with camphor, charcoal, white flowers and foresty notes all emerge from the impressive aromatics that soar from the glass. The intense, explosively rich, full-bodied palate is layered with beautiful purity, stunningly sweet, silky tannins and terrific presence and complexity. This is a gorgeous wine on a relatively fast evolutionary track, I suspect, but certainly it has 30 years of upside left. (RP)" (08/2016)

Jeb Dunnuck: "The Petite Sirah-heavy 2018 Four Hearts Vineyard (there’s 21% Tempranillo, 21% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 6% Zinfandel) reminds me of a great vintage of Ridge’s Monte Bello Cabernet (I wouldn’t be surprised if there was some American oak in here as well) with its blackberry, blueberry, cigar, and sappy flower aromas and flavors. It’s full-bodied and offers a big, mouth-filling texture, beautiful balance, and a great finish. Give it a few years." (09/2021)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Smoky, chocolate fudge-like aromas intermixed with sweet black cherry (after all, it is called “Cherry Block”), blackberry, charcoal and espresso scents jump from the glass of this complex, perfumed Cabernet. It possesses a dark ruby/purple color, silky, supple tannins, beautiful balance and a full-bodied mouthfeel as well as finish. Still young, but approachable and drinkable, it has another 15-20 years of longevity ahead of it. However, owners should not hesitate to drink it as it is revealing lots of complexity and interest. Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2010 Opus One Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (97VN, 96JS, 96RP, 95DC, 95ST, 95WS). Vinous: "Bright dark ruby. Initially reticent nose opened in the glass to reveal wonderfully complex scents of black- and redcurrant, blackberry, minerals, licorice, loam and tobacco leaf, plus a whiff of leather. Seamless, savory and classy on entry if a bit subdued, then delivers lovely restrained sweetness and a complicating wildness in the middle palate that still calls for more bottle aging. Old World in its classic dryness, this highly concentrated Opus One really shines on its vibrant, slowly building back end, where the broad, dusty tannins caress and saturate the palate and allow the fruits and minerals to build. A wine of outstanding depth, clarity, finesse of grain and class; it's hard to imagine that this site could give more. Deep ruby/purple-colored, notes of sweet crème de cassis, blackberry, charcoal and toast are present in the subtle but intense aromatics. The wine is full-bodied and classically crafted, building incrementally on the palate and displaying full-bodied richness, sweet tannin, and a potential to age for 25-30+ years. This is a beauty. Bid on this bottle of 2014 Levy & McClellan Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (OWC - (94-96RP), 94VN) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2014 Proprietary Red is a blend of 74% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Cabernet Franc, 8% Merlot and the rest Petit Verdot from their mountainside vineyard not far from the Sonoma County line. The entire vintage is barrel-fermented in Darnajou and Taransaud barrels and aged for 26 months prior to bottling. This looks like a relatively powerful Cabernet Sauvignon-based wine, but there are only 300 cases. The wine is full-bodied, with notes of loamy soil, graphite, forest floor, blackberry and cassis with a hint of charcoal and licorice. This is a sensational effort from Levy & McClellan that should drink beautifully for 25 or more years. (RP)" (12/2016)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon Melbury, which comes from a hillside vineyard site near Lake Hennessey, is showing even better than it did in its youth. Probably years away from full maturity, the wine has an extraordinary aromatic profile of smoky meats intermixed with blackberry, creme de cassis, charcoal, lead pencil shavings and espresso. Dense, opulent and full-bodied, with terrific fruit, this is a showcase style of vintage for a wine of such great ripeness and massive intensity. This extraordinary effort displays oodles of glycerin and fabulous purity, while the oak has been completely absorbed. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1991 Maya (made from equal proportions of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon) has developed incredibly since I tasted it nearly a year ago and rated it 94. The wine is black/purple-colored and offers up a compelling bouquet of flowers, minerals, black fruits, vanilla, and spices. There is huge extraction of fruit, full body, outstanding purity and balance, moderate tannin, and a tremendous layered feel on the palate. All of this intensity and richness is brilliantly pulled off without any sense of heaviness. I can understand wanting to drink this wine immediately as it is an extraordinarily impressive young wine, but it should be given another 4-6 years of cellaring; it is a candidate for 25 years of aging. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Their premium, high-end wine, the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Sinalunga is a blend of 98% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Petit Verdot. This is meant to be the best of the best, so to speak. The color is a dense ruby/purple, the wine beautifully concentrated with blackberry and cassis fruit, licorice, incense and beautifully concealed toasty oak. It needs a fair bit of swirling to release bold scents of baked blackcurrants, boysenberries and black cherry compote plus suggestions of garrigue, crushed rocks, tobacco leaf and lavender. There are five separate distinct Cabernets that are produced from the vineyard.
