It's a beautiful vineyard, a sandy substrate covered in naturally growing green cover crops between the rows, with the Cantabrian Sea in full view to the north. The Bodegas Casa Monte Pío is a small family winery that was established in 1979. It is located in the Salnes Valley which is considered the heart of the Rias Baixas region. Composed primarily of Treixadura, this delicious Galician white has terrific freshness as well as a lovely rounded texture, with yellow fruit flavors and subtle minerality.
